Exactly! Its far better to bet on your favourite team and gamble money anyways. I am pretty sure there were high odds for teams playing against Brazil. Also someone could just go on bet on Brazil's championship. Odd would be lower yeah but you wouldn't bother keep selling buying. Just bet and forget! Far less hassle.

Exactly, I think you could have made some good money by investing in some fan tokens before the start of this worldcup, but you also need to get out in time. Really just that too small honestly if we do talk about investors of those fan token based which we know that numbers wont really be that huge. This isnt something new because if ones a particular team had lost  and it would be named on a certain team then emotions and fundamentals would kick in which it would really be just in normal approach and just like other tokens in the market which is named or based up into something which it is really just that a normal common approach.

This is why its never been ideal on supporting or investing into these kind of types unless if the coin is really that been created by the team itself and you do show up that support into them
then it wont really be that bad but of course you shouldnt really be expecting on making profits in long term because if the hype would be gone

What do you expect, I think it is working as designed if you look at the economics behind it, A  football team lost a cup competition the value of that team would drop and that of the team that won would rise. I mean fan token exactly as the name said, only token for fans, basically you're buying it for supporting it which still rather baffles me how you could support it in any meaningful way by buying the fan token other than just being used for speculative purpose basically as you have said pump and dump token. but the thing is considering the nature of these token, hardly go back up but really easy to go down and will just stay down for long time, i'd definitely refrain from investing in such coin, heck maybe we couldn't even call it investing since the performance relies heavily in football team performance which varies, more over the fact that this month around their football team are performing really bad would only mean you have made really bad investment/speculation decision.
