Is it Safe To Use Decentralized Wallet By Anonymous Team ?

Sorry if I made a mistake posting in this sub, but I feel this needs to be discussed, and hopefully the experts or experts in this forum will give a little knowledge to those of us who are still newbies.
What I want to ask is is it safe to use a decentralized wallet, but the identity of the team behind it is unknown, especially the faces. any advice from experts?

To determine if the wallet is safe, you must understand how it works and be able to ensure that it works as described, ideally by examining the code and building the wallet yourself. The anonymity of the creators is secondary.

It is safe to use decentralized wallet by anonymous team, but it must be popular wallet, like TronLink or Metamask altcoin wallet with millions of users. And in any case you must use good antivirus with phishing protection, like Avast Free Antivirus, and not Windows Defender headache.
