I think CryptoRush is fixing their prices, so you come and sell there for higher prices. But they don't let you withdraw your BTC. I tried several times, with several different addresses, but each time the withdrawal gets denied.

This should serve as advice for anybody trying to get some more for their coins - as you will not be able to withdraw your BTC.

you have 2 options,

sell your bitcoin for altcoin, take a loss & get out now via altcoin withdrawal

sell your altcoin for bitcoin, make a profit & cross your fingers they add btc to their wallet

they are not fixing their prices, it's just the way the natural way things work, risk always has a bigger reward in life

I kept on trying and eventually it worked.
I was playing with various balances in my account (after the withdrawal) and when I set it to 30 satoshi, it did work for me.
I am not sure whether this is a coincidence or not, but worth a try.

So in transfer box, you enter (your total balance - 30 satoshi ) and see if it works.

Thanks

So you were able to withdraw BTC after you withdrew BTC

 Huh

Sorry about the confusion.
What I meant to say was, instead of withdrawing the full amount of BTC, try to leave 30 satoshi in your account.
So if you have 0.01234560 BTC in your account, try withdrawing 0.01234530 and see if it works.

Thanks.

I think I got lucky yesterday then.
The other option is to look for an altcoin which is being sold at the same rate in other markets and convert all your BTC into that altcoin and then do the altcoin transfer instead.
Hope you find a way to get your coins out soon.

I still think they fixed their prices, otherwise why would people trade there. Take for example Doge it was trading there today for 160, on all other exchanges it was 102 at the same time (rising to up to 108). EAC is trading everywhere for 11, there it was for 16.

I also looked around to buy other alt coins, but all others are way higher than on other big exchanges.

They don't fix the prices. When users are unable to withdraw BTC they seek towards coins that they can withdraw, and are willing to pay a premium for a withdrawable coin.

Also, see here why you can not withdraw BTC:

You guys should seriously considered taking the "hair cut" and exchange to alt and get your funds out of there.
As long as you have funds on the exhange you are NOT in control of the funds.

My advice is based on the events on Vircurex last week.

I bought LTC and transferred my funds out. Luckily it was only 1.5 BTC worth and i only had to pay a small premium.

Lost about 2-3%. Better than losing all my money i had with them.

I was watching some conversation on IRC; supposedly they were hacked and cleaned out. Glad I took my LTC out this morning. I can't confirm anything, and they haven't responded on twitter, but their site is down and that is suspicious (since they've been so good with communication before).

don't let you withdraw your BTC? It is unreasonable ah!
So far the only way to can directly withdraw BTC itself is by doing it at the minimum of .001 but of course the fee is .006 so you'll only get .004 out per withdrawal. I have been able to get up to .008 out but still that's not enough and they with still nickel and dime you to death.
