I think it's pretty unfortunate that it was given an acronym or a slang and some people believed it's the actual meaning of the word. I'm glad investopedia got the history of the word correctly https://www.investopedia.com/terms/h/hodl.asp I don't know how many updates or edits was done but some guys probably corrected it and rightly so.

This is the first time I am seeing the user that used the term first in the forum though I have been seen and hearing the term in the forum but I didn't know who brought the word here. This is an inspiration, especially with the current situation of the crypto market and the history of its always recovery is also a part of the trust of the investors because no matter how we see the bad situations of the market today, we always have the good and positive news where it will gonna recover and even push forward to create new ATH. When you dig enough and look back at the history of its price, you will find some interesting comeback and some inspirational stories that came from successful Hodlers as we called them.
