I have three players to mention here who have performed very smart of fast enough in taking advantage of opportunities, first is Messi and second Mbappe and the third player is DI Maria, the two teams made it to the final stage before Argentina emerged the winner with penalty kicks, Croatia and Morocco will as well always be in remembrance whenever the talk about 202w FIFA world cup arises, this edition has been the best ever so far.

I really liked Joško Guardiol's performance. Joško Guardiol is a defender for the Croatian national football team. I also liked the performances of Enzo Fernández and Juan Álvarez in the Argentina National team. The performance of Sofyan Amrabat from the Moroccan national team was very good. I think Sofyan Amrabat will be transferred to a big team in January.

We could also argue that Argentinian goalkeeper didn't deserve a golden glove. Look at this comparison between Martinez and Livakovic:

This is an impressive stats for livakovic and i never knew he is this good. With this kind of stats i think he deserves the golden glove award but this reward is not only given to the player involved by his stats performance,  i think the factor of where your team ended in the competition is also considered because in a situation where the goalkeeper who won the trophy contributed  and perform very well in competition  and is compared with another goal keeper whose stats is also impressive but didn't win the trophy, its only fair for the award to be given to the winner of the competition just like in the case between Livakovic and Martinez. So i think there is nothing wrong given the award to Martinez although Livakovic was impressive in his performance but for the fact that Martinez won the trophy, i think he deserves the award and glory.

It doesn't matter what size is the country that is hosting the World Cup. The point is that Qatar have money to spend and they don't care what will they spend it on. I didn't go to Qatar so I don't know how well was everything organized but on TV everything looked OK.

Livakovic 100%, that dude played one of the best goalkeeping performances in a long time and he %100 deserves to be at a high level without a doubt. I know not many people will agree with me on this, but I believe there is absolutely no other way that he would be picked by a huge club.

Aside from that I am pretty sure there needs to be a discussion about Alvarez, he is at City but not used a lot, and he is too good to be just a bench player, so City either needs to use him, or they need to sell him to a club that will give him 90 minutes. We have seen once again some great plays from Moroccon players too, and we also saw some great defence from Gvardiol, all those players needs to go to bigger clubs.

It doesn't matter what size is the country that is hosting the World Cup. The point is that Qatar have money to spend and they don't care what will they spend it on. I didn't go to Qatar so I don't know how well was everything organized but on TV everything looked OK.

It is not easy to be the host in a prestigious ball tournament like the World Cup.
No matter how much money they spend, it seems that Qatar is not really concerned about it, in fact it will be a matter of pride for the country of Qatar because it was successfully selected and trusted to host the World Cup because not just any country can get that trust.
FIFA itself certainly has the right reasons why it chose Qatar to be the venue for the World Cup, whether it's because of adequate facilities or something else.

I've never paid attention to the football and world cup matches the way I did this year, so i guess its alright to say that i am a newbie to football, i dont know the names of players except the really popular ones like CR7(christaino Rolnado) and Messi, another player which i think must be popular but i am getting to know him for the first time and he caught my attention is Mbappe.

I saw Mbappe's playing skills first time in their match against Morocco in the semi finals, i immediately fell in love with him, right now, he is my best player, the guy is just too damn fast and really skillful, i just cant imagine the kind of deep hole ive been in to just be noticing such a player now.

Alexis Mac Allister from Argentina, the football player who marked the world cup and came to the fore. He plays for Brighton have Albion in England, but I think he will go to big clubs during the interim transfer period or at the end of the year at the latest.

And Enner Valencia from Ecuador drew attention. If Ecuador had seen further tours we would have heard more of it.

A true "wall" that greatly benefited Morocco and helped them reach the quarterfinals. We know that his participation in the World Cup was one of the great assets for his team to get so far in the competition. The Morocco goalkeeper only conceded three goals, one of which was an own goal.

Bono has already been named man of the match twice in the elimination phase, and in the round of 16 the goalkeeper was one of those responsible for preventing Spain from scoring, guaranteeing a place in the quarterfinals. Do you remember that he took two of the three penalties beaten by the Spaniards? The guy is a very good goalkeeper, the best I've ever seen in this cup.

And in the Portugal game, the goalkeeper was a "wall" against the opponents, preventing the Portuguese team from scoring their goal several times.

It is for these reasons that I believe he should be recognized and named as one of the best players in this world cup.

I agree with this, the goalkeeper of Morocco was one of the most important reasons they made it so far into the world cup so I would not be surprised that Sevilla receives many offers for him in the future and we can see him in a more important team soon, and this could be true for other players as well as their performance was so great that I suppose many teams are trying to find more information about them and see if they can bring them to their teams for a reasonable offer.

Most of Mbappe's goals came against weak teams. Two of his goals came against Poland, two against Danmark, and one against Australia. And in the final, although he scored one goal by himself the other two came from penalty kicks. And during the initial 80 minutes his performance was pathetic (although he made up for that in the next 15 minutes of regular play and 30 minutes of extra time). I thought that although he received the golden boot, there was nothing special in his performance this time. For comparison, I would rate Julián Álvarez ahead of him.

Merit of Mbappe in my opinion, it's supposed to be weaker teams, but another players faced weaker teams too and not scored too many goals like him, total merit.
With penalties or not I believe it's his merit.
In final he did a hat trick and it's not easy, the french team played bad during first half, and only after substitutions the team started to play like it's used to.
But I respect your opinion, soccer is funny, look at Di Maria, he didn't do a top performance during the cup, but at the finals he did the best match and helped Argentina. I'm sure Scaloni regret the decision to substitute him after he thought the match was easy.

Yeah, it's a problem with golden boot reward because it is not awarded to the best offensive player, but to a player that scores the most goals during the World Cup. There probably are better offensive players than Mbappe, but rules are rules.

Achraf Hakimi and Yassine Bounou from Morocco, Julián Álvarez from Argentina, Aurélien Tchouaméni from France, João Félix and Rafael Leão from Portugal were some of the other players who caught my attention. And I agree with your observation that Alexis Mac Allister, Enner Valencia and Dominik Livaković performed exceptionally. My only regret is that now we need to wait for another 4 years to see these players in action, at the same time. Hopefully teams such as Italy and Chile will also be able to qualify for the next world cup.

Despite being a supporter of Argentina in the final match, there is no way to underestimate Mbappe. He won the Golden Boot in the World Cup. Although his goals were mostly against weaker teams, the last goal in the 90 minutes of play in the final match must have been memorable. Argentina's opposition came at the end with two goals in a short period of time. One was from penalty but the other he scored with a superb short and then France had the opportunity to play extra minutes. Football fans deserve he will do better in the future.

My national TV had a wrapped up World Cup highlight last night and it was a special tournament indeed , with almost no issues when it comes to organization and people all over the world that were there , had only great words about Qatar and Qatar people in general. I do hope , next World Cup will be in safety parameters like this one but I doubt it

The entire Moroccan team has outstanding players that any club should focus on but I am thrilled by the remarkable performance of Sofyan Amrabat. This outstanding defensive midfielder would be great asset to any team and they would not regret signing him. He was instrumental to Morocco's quarter finals victory against Portugal. He was full of strength and confidence and controlled the midfield ensuring that the Portuguese team don't have a free day. His market price before the world cup was Ten Million Pounds but I am sure that Fiorentina would not let him go that cheap. He has a contract with the club till 2024 but it might be possible that Fiorentina would be willing to sell him for a profitable fee. His agent has even confirmed that he has been receiving call from top clubs in Europe concerning Sofyan.

I agree. I was referring to someone who said that Mbappe maybe wasn't the best offensive player in the World Cup. Maybe he wasn't but the rules for a golden boot reward are clear. I agree but also think that Martinez deserved it more than any other goalkeeper simply because of the number of penalty saved,it was about 4 of them,2 in Holland game and 2 in final game taking into consideration that he found the direction even in that penalty which got out.It is only natural for him to have gotten the golden glove because of this and because he had done more than Livakovic,we don't know how Livakovic would have behaved in a final,he surely was great against Brazil but that is only one match.

I guess you haven't watched many matches with the Croatian national team. But regardless, you can very easily check the stats and compare them yourself.

We all know that Martinez got the golden glove reward just because Argentina won the World Cup. However, one save in the 120th minute of the final game doesn't make someone the best goalie of the tournament. If a golden glove reward is a reward for the best goalie of the tournament, then FIFA should take into consideration all games that a goalie has played, not just the final game. I'm not saying that Martinez didn't play good or that he isn't a good goalie. I'm just saying that Livakovic probably deserved the reward more than Martinez.
