As Morocco was the black horse of the World Cup, I believe most of Moroccan players will leave their current clubs. For example, Liverpool already uncovered their connections with Sofyan Amrabat who was one the best Moroccan players, and the French club Angers announced that they can't hold on Sofiane Boufal and Azzedine Ounahi due to the unrefusable deals they are getting for them. In addition, there are rumors linking Yassine Bounou with Barcelona. IMO, These players showed high quality and deserve to play for bigger names like Liverpool and Barcelona.

I am not entirely sure there was a better offensive player than Mbappe, dude scored 8 goals, but he was also scoring like crazy during the world cup final itself, he scored 2 in the 90 minutes, and another during extra time and scored on his penalty as well, technically speaking that's 4 goals but the penalty shootout one doesn't count on his stats. At the end of the day,how many other players could be as effective as he is on scoring, and that is a big part of scoring as well.

I get that creating chances is also another big deal and Mbappe is not the type of guy that get the ball on midfield and run and score, but he can definitely score if you just give him the ball anywhere near the post.

I didn't say that France goalie should have won the award. Livakovic is Croatia national team's goalie. While I agree that Martinez led his team to become the World Cup winner, but I still think that Livakovic had more great saves than Martinez. I know that FIFA often takes into consideration only the last game so I'm not surprised that they gave the reward to Martinez.

I was sure that Fifa chose the player before the final match.
I tried to find on Fifa's website some official rule about the choice but I couldn't find anything about which match they choose the best goalkeeper: until the semi finals or the finals, so I was in doubt.

For example, Pedri and Gavi had a good tournament. They have gained very important experience here. Gavi is 18 years old. Pedri is 20 years old. They have many years ahead of them. If they keep playing like this, they can turn into very big stars like Xavi and Iniesta.

Livakovic in particular was one of my personal favourite from this world cup and I was sad to have not seen him win something from the world cup. At least he got his bronze medal with Croatia coming third place in the world cup.

Alexis Mac Allister was also a great player in the Argentine team, Gavi in Spain, Enner Valencia for sure and a few other did leave there mark as its expected in the world cup. I look forward to the teams they would be joining in the January transfer. Hope they make good choices too.

LOL.. one tournament changed the fate of several players in a matter of few weeks. I am not surprised for Yassine Bounou, as I thought that he was the best goalkeeper in the tournament (although FIFA gave the award to Emiliano Martínez). Achraf Hakimi was another Moroccan player who was impressive in the world cup. And these players are quite young (most of them are in the mid 20s) and therefore we can expect them to be a part of the top leagues for another decade or so. What happened to the Croatian players after 2018 edition will happen this time to the Moroccan players.

I'm not sure how much experience can help a player to stay cold headed in a penalty shootout. It can help a little, but even the most experienced players can miss a penalty shoot. Remember how Harry Kane missed the penalty against France? That penalty could have taken the match into overtime but he missed it. And I'm talking about the team's captain. I don't think there is more experienced player in England than him.

Benzema is a crucial player who make Real Madrid won by comeback, this is why Benzema is won the Ballon d'Or. I think most people agree if Benzema deserved to get it because there's not many complaints or personal attack to Benzema. It's different with Ballon d'or 2020 where it's really clear Lewandowski is the winner, but the judge is unfair to choose Messi. Messi's performance is good, but it's not that good compared to Lewandowski.

Haven't checked the stats of the two at the World Cup but seeing what you're showing it honestly has to be said that Livakovic deserved much more and the difference is vast and it's become quite puzzling why with such disparate statistics the organizers didn't award the Croatian goalkeeper a golden glove.
Being able to bring Argentina to win the World Cup should not be a reason for giving it because appearance should be the benchmark for judging this is quite disappointing and suspicious.

The defending champions will definitely be in the next World Cup without qualification but whether they will succeed is not certain even many defending champions have performed poorly for example Germany at the World Cup in Russia and so far France have managed to perform as well as in Russia going into the final only to lose. Other teams have to qualify, this year we didn't see Italy and it's very possible that in the next World Cup they will play because it must be like a failure if a team like Italy fail to play in the World Cup 2 times in a row
