Now of course you don't want me to compare the TEAM Photo thing with the PIVX and other projects, because you know very well there are hundreds of successful projects who give Avatars as the team photos and only Telegram or Discord contacts. So your claims are blah blah here. Because PHOTO nor TEAM is not a must and many projects do not even have it while they are very successful.

And no. I refuse to come to this topic and beg for you to withdraw the unfair negative feedback you left.
You guys may follow the project and withdraw it when you see it necessary (If you are really honest about being community police).

The tag will definitely be removed if you do the right thing.
Even if you didn't do it purposefully, this should serve as a lesson to upcoming projects who will hire writers for the themselves, especially the whitepaper part which serves as a pitch to attract your investor. We wish you good luck finding a better writer who will serve you with what you want, rather than copy-pasting someone else's work. And good luck for the success of your project as well, we hope you come out as not guilty in this case. 👍

I just wished the other people here who are puking hate would use much better language than you did but they did not. FYI, there's been a bounty campaign going on from the day one (for more than a month) hosted by Royse777. Did anyone warned him about the existence of this scam accusation topic? Anyway, I just sent him a PM and lets see what he has to say about it.

It's been a month since this scam accusation was first made, but nothing has changed. Their website still has a link to the same plagiarized whitepaper and there's still no information about their team, despite what MetaMallVerse promised.

The main reason for hiring someone is English is not our native language. That's why we needed to hire someone to write our whitepaper, also writing needs different skills.

Jesus, I would have done a great job for you for a reasonable price and would offer that service to any project that isn't a blatant scam or just a money-grab.  Even though I would have predicted a 99.99% failure for this idea (it looks like eBay, only in some metaverse, and you better believe a big corporation is going to make that happen if there's interest) I probably would have done it.

You can't tell me there aren't proofreaders/editors for things like this.  Putting out a whitepaper is no small thing if you're serious about your project....but if it's a scam or a cash-grab, this is the shit that happens.

Since they responded to this thread right after the accusation, I thought it was a positive side. Because almost no team reacts to such charges, I thought they would come up with a new whitepaper which they've mentioned. But this is not the case here. This is the red flag. They already got three negative feedback from the DT network. Not sure if they will respond further.

Is it allow to Run a bounty for project which already catch up stealing data from other project? Many compaign manager was tagged previously for only one reason that they run compaign for scam project and reason of scam was just plagiarism of Whitepaper . If it allow then remove tag from all old Bounty managers.

Yes, this is a big red flag and definitely something to be cautious of. I did some more research and it's pretty clear that this project has not only plagiarized their whitepaper, but their website^[1] as well. A lot of the content seems to have been copied from the medium article of the Cypherdog project^[2].

Tehnically it is allowed to run a bounty for a project that plagiarized whitepaper/had fake team members or any of the other major red flags because scams on bitcointalk are not moderated. Thing is, by doing that you are risking your reputation and getting tagged by other members.

I can't speak for other DT members, but unless Royse777 doesn't stop their bounty campaign, he can expect getting tagged by me but I do hope it won't come to that.

As well as no foreseeable fulfillment of what they promised here, or perhaps I have a different definition and understanding of "near future"

Really since you got busted for plagiarizing your whitepaper let's see if you can be truthful about the composition of your team, you can do this by holding a webinar with all of your team presence and answering questions about your project or you can do a video of all of you, I have seen projects doing this holding a webinar and having a video of their meet up, although it's not a gurantee that the project is good and worth investing at least, you can prove that you are not faking this time.

I certainly hope it'll happen way before their last day of ICO... which is next week, as I can't see what's so difficult about having a webinar or live stream AMA session if they have a real professionals in their office, or home-office, or wherever they are, which according to their roadmap, would happen this month.

I even peeked at MEMV's TG group to see if it's already happened and we simply didn't notice, but what I found is... well, if I have to be honest, it doesn't look good. Chat are filled with chat bots and repetitive messages with bare minimum engagement and shill-like chats



They're currently on their 4th and final ICO rounds, and I can't find any info on how much they managed to sell from all of the previous rounds, it doesn't seems to be published anywhere other than the vague self-announced report; 65M/100M from R1 and 11M/150M in R2. And they're currently in final talk with bitmart.

Since they showed no remorse or willingness to sort out the whitepaper (and other plagiarized content), I don't see how that campaign could be reopened.
