Everything that happens every year has great difficulties here, Do people realize that forums are starting to be left one by one?

Probably they are leaving for a while because the bear market has been so stressful and for sure they will come back once they are ok again. This forum has been doing great since then and deals with a lot of crypto problem already, we’re still lucky that this forum remains active after so many years along with Bitcoin. I’m wonder what will happen if this forum stops to operate, I mean that could also affect the market.

Probably they are leaving for a while because the bear market has been so stressful and for sure they will come back once they are ok again. This forum has been doing great since then and deals with a lot of crypto problem already, we’re still lucky that this forum remains active after so many years along with Bitcoin. I’m wonder what will happen if this forum stops to operate, I mean that could also affect the market.

the content of this forum alone for me is priceless. anyone can come and go but the purpose of this forum doesn't change. many people come back because there are contents here that you can't find in other sites or places. so hats off to the people behind the sustenance of this forum.  so no worries about people who are leaving because the existence of this forum doesn't depend on them. as long as this forum is helpful to a great number of crypto users, i believe this will exist for long time.

It has become common during the bearish era, many people left the crypto business, not only this forum but also the crypto world. And usually, they will come back when they start the bullish phase or before the halving to prepare themselves again for the bullish period. No need to worry. There are still many who continue to survive here. As long as we believe in ourselves and also crypto, then just live with what is happening right now. We don't give up if maybe it's not as busy as it used to be, but that doesn't matter.

As someone who had their first account in 2012, I can vouch for the fact that during bear periods people leave, and then when the bull run comes they log back in, I did that back in the day as well and forgot my first accounts password and used a 10minutemail thingy when I first joined hence why the second account, but I can tell you that there will be less messages and active accounts in 2022 compared to 2021, that's not because they are leaving for good, that's because of bear run. When the bull run comes, lets say in 2024, there will be more people than ever and break the active users number for sure.

as stated by many there's indeed a lot of reduction in term of discussion in regard of bitcoin and other coins in general mainly caused by current trend that is frequently called the winter of cryptocurrencies, moreover this time around the winter is getting prolonged more than usually, wait until the next bullrun comes and many trends coming up then you gonna see massive discussion again in regard of investments, etc and that includes cryptocurrency in general.

Are you new in here? People were coming and going out following the cycle in the crypto market. You shall also take a look at the reliable data for the traffic of forum. People will be massively coming here once the bullish trend will come and then they will be going away once the bearish trend has been starting. I see that there's no impact once the traffic was going up or down caused by the forum has its own funds to run until 100 years later from now.

It seems like that you were just aware now if the trend was affecting people's interest in the crypto. I think that you shall take a look at the data rather than try to feel disappointed with it.

Bear seasons are times when survival is difficult. I don't know if I'm alive, but I'm trying to breathe. :) In fact, I was on the forum during the bear season between 2018 and 2020 and I never left this forum. My addiction to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is also very high. I guess if I have to leave here, it'll be hard for me to breathe... Social media platforms are fast communication channels. Many projects focus on Twitter and Telegram channels. That's why other users are moving to these platforms. I don't hate or blame them, but I want to be on Satoshi's forum more than anything.

Proof? Well I do observe that in this forum, people are less active in comparison with before but that's just normal given how difficult it is, at the present, to rank up and be able to participate with most of the paying campaigns. Some would stay especually tho were able to cope up with merit system and those who are being accepted on campaigns. Or maybe, they just gone tired of small pay off? 'coz at the oresent, campaigns are mostly in USD based unlike before wherein rewards are in form of a certain token project which results to huge pay outs after the token sale. But we just cannot avoid chainges, we can only cope up with it. Also, there are still other sources of income such as airdrops, which is why I am still here.

Yes a lot of people left the industry. Look how dead bitcointalk has gotten or look at the number of tweets for crypto or all the crypto Reddit’s. Most common places where people would go to talk about crypto are dead.

Same with stocks and all those yolo fomo meme stock option trading. Seems many lost all their money and quit. Usually this signals a bottom. All we need now is a fed pivot for confirmation.

This is a bearish season were it take traders that have strong minds to exercise patience with the current situation so that they will not regret like those that left the industry, because of the low price that is flowing all over the community. I think, it will be difficult for real traders to leave their investment just because of what will not last forever in the crypto market, which is a sign that bullish period is no longer far from the market than to be patient for the special time to come. I believe, many traders will definitely survive in this dumping condition that is affecting both the long traders and the short traders.

I wouldn't care about how many people come or go. It's just a natural process for everyone. Whether you are here for making money or learning some crypto knowledge, there is a curve changing every day. Everything has a life cycle and so does the forum or our attachment to it. I would never ingore that simple fact that for some people, it's just time to leave. Don't be sentimental on this point.

We cant control whoever who left here or those who spawn again. People come and go. Yes there are accounts who became inactive and some are born to join the forum. No wonder some left uncheck due to market and they also feels like hanging around might not be good for them but thats on them. People who actually like doing things or contributing here will always stay no matter how bored the forum is.

This forum is like a gold mine of information,you can find pretty much anything you need to now about Bitcoin and all other alternate cryptocurrencies.Personally I use this forum a lot because I am a miner and want to see what are other people doing and what are they mining during this difficult time we are in where every mineable coin cannot afford to be profitable because of electricity prices.If some people get bored,they may be inactive for some days or weeks but I am sure those who value the forum and the great information it has will always come back to check,even as guests only to read and not logging back to their accounts.

I feel users in Altcoins section are declining because most of bounties are only pay with worthless token or scam, also they can't join a signature campaign that paid with Bitcoin because they don't receive any merit. Thanks to @theymos because his purpose to implement merit is do fight against spammers in this forum and it's work!

So it's good to see spammers are leave in this forum, but there's some high quality users left in this forum because of sick or passed away which make me sad, they're an asset in this forum.

It doesn't there won't be new people.
Some will leave and some will come who have the will to learn more about cryptocurrencies. From getting more information to learning how to invest wise, to trading, and sometimes using it to gamble and spend.
There are a lot of ways because obviously, it's a currency.
We are not really here to preserve the number of people that will stay, we are always free to "out" if we want to. There are other investment options.

That's because this forum doesn't only focus on BTC discussions but we also have altcoins, economics and other non-essential stuffs. Sure you can easily find basic crypto information outside the forum but there are deeper information which can only be found here. Mostly about mining and bitcoin developments. The goodness about a forum like this compared to a standard website is that you can socialize with other people that have same interests as you.

Bitcointalk helped tons of people so they will always give honour to come back after some time in case they start to get busy with their lives outside. Cryptos are getting popular and many people aren't into it yet, so I expect that this forum will only get in-demand over time.

This is normal, as there are those who lost their funds and those who were affected by harsh market conditions, lost hope, left the forums, and left the crypto industry, and there are thousands of people who join daily. I see that the forums are a good source to see the latest developments, news, and crypto projects, and to learn and gain experience from discussions and valuable answers from various opinions, expectations, and recommendations from experienced members around the world, also many of us earn a living from participating in bounties, as it is for me and for many a good source of income that I cannot leave no matter what happens.

Yes! It is normal in life, people come and go but show never stops and keeps going on. People are leaving forum because income from bounties are drying up due to bear market. Launching of new projects has also come down and those launched, not all of them succeed but it will not continue for ever, situation will change once bear run it over.

Actually, the core purpose of Bitcointalk forum is to discuss Bitcoin & crypto related topics and share thoughts and experience with community & gain knowledge. I think this is why it is most popular forum among crypto enthusiasts & this is why it will continue getting new members.

The only thing we can miss from old members leaving the forum is their depth of experience and contribution to the discussion in the forum, but aside from that.

Everyone is free to leave the forum for whatever personal reasons, this is normal for any forum members to come and go but the new members like us will keep the forum alive for now.

I think some people left because of the market conditions. The forum has never been this quite. Be rest assured that everything and everyone will return to normalcy by the time the markets pick up again.

The idea to create a worthless token from nothing, and then offering people to work for it, which has literally zero value, and make it worth something by the bounty hunters is the worst part. If bounty hunters work very well, then it may worth something so their work would worth something and they will get paid accordingly, if they work terribly then it was just created and cost the owner nothing.

I am not going to work hard for someone who has risked zero dollars while paying me, to work for them. I am sorry but either they offer something tangible and worth something, or they can work themselves to promote their own token, makes no sense, I could give you a billion tokens out of nowhere that worths nothing too.

Tbh I kinda forgot about this forum for about a year, but now I came back. It's a more interesting place with smarter people than Reddit or Twitter.
