What team? Are you talking about Santos? Because reading the last news it looks like Santos want to get rid of Neymar because he became too expensive and he is constantly injured:

He doesn't need to run like a 20-year old. He just need to play his normal game, and even that is getting difficult for him. Look at Cristiano Ronaldo. He is almost 40 years old and his fitness levels are much better than that of Neymar. Fitness levels, to some degree depends on self-discipline. Neymar lacks that, and that's why he is having so many injury issues.

Not only was he successful with coaching Real Madrid but also with other clubs he coached, name them Chelsea,  A.C Milan, PSG,  Bayern Munich, and Juventus, just to mention a few. I definitely have no doubt in him reviving the Brazilian national team back to form if not back their glory, how we used to know them in the 90s. The Brazilian national team was an incredible team that has star players that almost everyone admired.

You're right, but there are some certain coaches that have this capability of doing well wherever they find themselves, be it in coaching a club or a national team. What they need to turn things around are just a few good players, that's all. Whereas on the other hand, some countries have a good number of quality players in them; it's just in the recent years that we're not seeing much of that. Back in the days, the national team used to produce a number of incredible and skillful players. Take the Brazilian national team, Argentina, and Germany, for instance,  and just to mention a few.

Neymar is still 33 years old and he is a talented player and also one of the world's star players, I think Ancelotti must have called him because he is a player who can be relied on on the wing, I like his playing style and if compared to other players Neymar can also help on many other sides, with his presence Brazil is much sharper in attack, speaking of accuracy and passing and the ability to execute for a Neymar Jr. he is used to doing that, it would be outrageous if Ancelotti did not call him up.

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you're trying to say: are you implying that playing abroad makes you lose interest for your own country? Because, if so, it doesn't make much sense.

If we take a look at the 2002 Brazil squad that won the World Cup in Korea and Japan we can see that pretty much all the line-up players were playing abroad with the exception of Marcos (goalkeeper) and Gilberto Silva. Maybe we can also partially add Kléberson, who was the surprise because almost nobody knew him.

So the majority of players that were playing in Brazil, barely played during that World Cup. This is not a problem about cohesion, it's simply that today's players are average compared to the past. Well, and of course primadonnas like Vinicius don't help building cohesion.
