Bear or winter like you called it is same as opposite of bull when there will be plenty of profit taking. The lesson therefore starts from now regarding your investment. Don't invest in project that is shit and not known because they don't survive in winter. Buy worthy coins, like top coins. Also, if you know their worth in the long run, you can survive any bear market. It's about patient and perseverance, if you don't have those, you'll probably sell too early or in the middle, but I guess that's okay since it's yours, though you might regret doing that too soon. Try to find another source of income so you won't get bored waiting and you'll have the money to buy more.

During a bear market many coins that on the surface seem to be good also collapse and then leave investors with nothing to show for their money, right now FTT, Luna and UST are some of the names that their sole mention are enough to send shivers down investor's spine.

But this happened as well during the previous crypto winter, my point is that during the bear market we need to be incredibly conservative with the way we invest and only trust in bitcoin and perhaps ethereum as well, but that is it, only once the conditions improve then you can try to invest in other coins as it is unlikely they will collapse at that time.

The presence of beginners in the market can provide good moves because many are less experienced in playing in the market. I do both, hold for long term and day trade, and this move up caught me in some positions. Since we are in this position now I would like that price stays stabile for some time to accumulate more for long term and for trading perspective sideways is the time where I do best trading. Your strategy is very different from others , most of traders wont be trading on sideways market as its hard to predict and also takes more time analyzing. I myself i do have trend following strategy works best on uptrend market which i am only using this on specific market and also when it is green days. Though holding is best as it has less effort but needs patience as you need to hold longer and also if you have a lot of money to spend for your investment the better the profit
