Having no mentor is the reason why I'm on and off in trading and become lazy to learn. I just do copy trading but still no luck. The trader started to lose after a few days when I followed. That even took away my remaining hope. Learning trading on your own is something very hard to do even with lots of tutorials on YT. What's even harder is to find a mentor that is willing to take you despite his/her busy schedule.

It depends on how you encourage yourselves by learning online tutorials. But if we talk about copy trading, I didn't do it personally because I heard a lot of stories like you and most of them had failed. So, instead of following someone I'd rather carry myself to learn on my own even though it takes so long because I believe this is the best solution and I know experience helps me a lot to learn more. But if you have a trusted friend that will teach you personally, that can be better, especially if you aim to learn fast.

Well, psychology is very important when it comes to trading, this reminds me of the time a friend hired a psychologist to talk about the psychology of a trader, and the same psychologist said that there is no such thing, psychology is just that. . Being self-taught has always been one way I have gained more learning experience about cryptocurrency than being tutored.
The importance of having a formal education, is so that one can ask good and constructive questions which when answered properly is a well of knowledge in itself.
How, why, when, as I was taught in economics class, back in the days, still helps anyone who intends to learn on their own.
Having someone who is willing and available to teach/tutor anyone on crypto is a gift these days, because everyone seems busy and looking for more money.

A lot depends on the teacher, how well he knows about what he is going to teach, and it is of great importance whether he has only theoretical knowledge, or whether he has real success in practice.

I have seen many examples when a person knows everything about technical analysis and levels and everything that is needed for successful trading, but he is strong only in theory and he has no success practice. The same demo account is a very dubious example.

If we start to find the better way to improve after that losses, the chance to make a good success is possible. There are things inside this business that needed to analyze, if you will use both knowledge and experienced you'll be able to overcome things that continue to pull you down while trading. You need to make sure that you are willing to adjust and willing to accept every adjustments that are needed during your trading postions. How about you people that had a tutor, were you able to be taught in a way you do not lose in the beginning? I only started to make profit some months ago and till now though, but I lost for almost 2 to 3 years. Maybe tutoring can help to avoid losses?

I've never been tutored how to trade, I tried and keep trying to get it myself, from my own experience and mistakes. However, I have been a tutor for 4-5 people, who asked me to bring them up to date and teach, how to trade. I have to say, that this was not productive at all, nobody from my "students" still trades, because once the tutoring stops, they didn't`t know how to manage it themselves, they were still waiting for some instructions from me. I gave up the idea of guiding somebody into this area, because people, unfortunately, usually don't appreciate what they got from others. I told them to continue by themselves, but they had no clue how to understand a large amount of information and start doing something on their own. That is why I believe that self-learning to trade is much more effective, even if it is unprofitable for a year, two, three, than blindly following some kind of mentor, without which you remain absolutely defenseless and incapable of anything.

Nobody is born with the knowledge about anything so learning is must now its up to you that how you learned which way you choose to get knowledge. I didn't take help from any tutor but instead I heard about it from the people around me and then visualized the fact by watching YouTube videos. For newbie traders to learn.

I want to have a broader knowledge about this because I do not want to be discussing partially about what I did when I wanted to learn crypto trading.

First thing first, this is what I did.
I learn trading myself, using articles and videos from trading sites. It was fun for me because I like to learn if it is about what could earn me money.

After learning trading, I trade. I learn derivative trading as well. But what later happened was that I was losing. I do lost in gambling since 2014 until I had control over it, gambling took money from me, but I had more money in 2019 and trading has taking more from me until I gained more experience about what trading is before my losses reduced and profit increases.

How about you people that had a tutor, were you able to be taught in a way you do not lose in the beginning? I only started to make profit some months ago and till now though, but I lost for almost 2 to 3 years. Maybe tutoring can help to avoid losses?

I did both, even with all the experiences I think may have acquired already, I still have a more like a mentor/coach, one who puts me through difficult and inquisitive times

Of course, your post will be very useful for investors as they are first time investors to follow this link. A friend gave me some knowledge about this when I was a newbie and wanted to trade. Learning how to trade thoroughly through self though can be very challenging because I'm new may not know the necessary things to learn because getting to the next level. In this kind of learning, the person would need to do concrete research about the market before they go into the market and starts trading. There are some things that the person may be missing and which can be very important to understand as a trader. I am long term hodler and I am not willing to go in professional trading at all. I have tried few lessons, tried to learn theorems behind various charts and views but each time my projections or forecasted were not up to the mark. I would suggest it’s always best practice to take professional tuitions and not to go on self trading. It seems very easy but that is not the case at all. If you do it alone then for sure there's no way that you would really be blaming out someone but rather you would really be that doing it alone according into your own will and according into your own knowledge.
It is really that just much preferred on doing by yourself because everything could really be learnt out considering that all of information and other things could really be seen and be searched online.
Some do love or prefer on learning up trade via someone who had been teaching them and believing that it is really that fast tract on learning up things which i could say that its never been

The most I know of trading ha been what I learned from others and I topped that with some practical experience of my own. I must say, it's never easy and even now, I don't suppose I have more knowledge of it because, am still within the losing circle. I would say it's minimal since i don't have to trade often but, am very much still trying to gather experience.

I also started trading with a friend who directed me. friends share information and teach me some early trading techniques. Even when I was just starting, I practiced the same trades my friends did.
but it doesn't last long, of course, those who guide us will not be able to continue to provide direction. we have to learn on our own or at least we gain knowledge and experience from us following someone really good when giving directions.
There's nothing wrong with following people, but developing yourself is also necessary for better self-achievement.

Good point even you have someone who are assisting you, it's still needed to do some extra effort to do your research and make some advance learning, in-case you unable to understand some terms you will manage you adopt it once you fully learn their practices, though it's good to have someone who can assist you thru out the process as you will have some edge compared to those traders who don't have anything and just starting from the scratch.

But then again, you also need to keep yourself well-inform so you'll not just lean to someone but you'll be able to decide when you already convince that you have enough to stand on your own.
