I think that it is the basis for all of is who are gamblers. Yep we are in it for the fun but also for the money. And when you are not earning some it can still be fun. You just have to know how to lose. Gambling is one of those activities in which you need to balance your winnings with your losses. This means that you will need to accept the losses as something normal and detach yourself from the emotional harm it brings. Once you learn to control these emotional urges, you have learned how to gamble!

I do not know about you guys, but I gamble because I like it and because it is a hobby as well as an addiction. I'm good with myself, as I already admitted to having an addiction but tried to find and apply techniques to avoid getting off track and spending all of my money on gambling. It's quite easy for me to control my gambling anxiety as I already follow strict rules that help me stay on the line.

For me, I tend to gamble for both reasons, first to enjoy the game I love playing, and second is the hope to make profits too. So that reasons have kept me gambling for long, and I must say I have also keep my tract on the line. But never I should say that I am addicted to gambling. I just gamble whenever i have reserved good budget for it, and if not, I’ll better stay at home and watch Netflix.

You're both on track with your points because to say the fact gamblers needs the two altogether in most cases, in the same manner we still have some that don't mind either of the two, but whenever we take pleasure out of gambling it becomes bored, ad for those that solely depend on gambling for a living will have no option left than to keep all attempts in place to ensure something profitable is coming out of it even though it's not upto expectations but they make some earnings for a living, that is their own joy and not winning becomes a threat to starvation for them.

If you are that someone who do gamble for fun then it would really be just fine on having those losses since you are really that prepared on that one which it isnt always the case for some people
yet they are really that mindful on how they would gonna win without even trying to realize that house do always win in the end or if we talk about strategic games then it would be entirely
depending on your skills plus having that mix of luck.

I can say that I’m addicted to gambling but not in the sense of putting myself into a lot of losses since I’m capable enough to play responsibly and manage well my finances. And what drives me into gambling is obviously the profits and the satisfaction I get everytime I started gambling. But in times I lose my funds, I know it’s inevitable, then I just have to accept that gambling is not just profiting but also losing too. That way, I become to be more mature in gambling.

Like you, I am also not into sports and I never bothered learning it. Besides, learning it can only make me addicted on it and that means another expense, so I am fine with casino games.

You should also enjoy what you love and don't let others dictate you. I see that you also have a non-supportive girlfriend when it comes to your hobby but you can choose now if which one is you truly love. Was it gambling or her? And you should only pick one before it gives you a problem later on.

Gambling should be for fun, but addiction is certain for some gamblers, the best is to just have control over it, just spend the amount of money you can afford to lose on gambling and you will enjoy it. It’s okay to be addicted in gambling as long as you still have the control on yourself and your own finances. The problem now is picking in between either your friends or your girlfriend. Gambling supposedly for fun and entertainment, but once you get addicted, it will bring a lot of problems in the future, like what I mentioned. It's between your friends and your GF since they both have an influence on you.

If you will choose your GF, then quitting into gambling will be your next direction, while choosing your friends, only means that you will continue your gambling and will be going deeper.

When you are really that on boredom then you would really be thinking on something that you do really get used to, if you are in fan of gambling then this would be your primary option or choice
for you to make but there are some whether they would be playing some physical games or would really be just simply sitting in front of your computer and playing up some games.
If you do know that you do have that money to spend then it would really be entirely be depending on you, as long you do know on to handle yourself

I have also been testing what is the best way to play in a casino, and I have determined that it is when I have nothing to do and I have free time, when I play and I do not concentrate except on the game I feel that I do better, I don't know if it's motivation to do things without pressure and without anything that has to torment me, but if I want to play 1 hour and I want to play more, then I start to lose very often, and there are several times that I have lost by giving up everything and sticking to my rules that in the end I end up with stress and I don't concentrate on what I do, I believe that to play you have to concentrate a lot to win and also to take advantage and have fun.

It is better that way.
Actually, In my personal opinion it is good you stick mostly to sport betting if you plan not to wager much money. If you moved to dices for example, where the outcome of your play comes immediately, you could find yourself escalating your wager quickly from 10$ to 100$, without you even noticing, opening the chances to higher losses.

It is just a roll, after roll, after roll, and so on.

For me, I gamble to add something to my savings using my extra money,  we know that the longer we play, the more we will lose. So if we win, we can go out to be safe, but if we lose, it doesn't hurt too much.😁

Mostly for fun purpose only. I have tried to be serious player on the gambling sites where mystarted very new in the beginning I thought I am going to hit bigger goals, make myself fortune
and keep growing it to set myself free from the financial issues. However, soon I understood that

Certain games like what? Sports? Yes you can affect your luck if you study the teams, players but in the end luck is still going to be the major factor to determine the outcome. Sometimes I wonder, all those people trying to beat the casino and make a living out of gambling, what if they were spending their BPU (brain processing unit) power on the more important matters like learning to code... While they are trying to make easy money from gambling, they learn so much stuff which they don't really need and still can't make money after all those efforts. Kind of sad.

I think friends can motivate us to play gambling, but we still have to be able to take care of ourselves as long as we play gambling and are responsible for our money. We cannot allow ourselves to have fun with friends while we are almost out of money at the gambling table and we should be the ones who have to remind our friends not to suffer too many losses.

You can really be lucky to have a wife who motivates you to gamble because not many people with wives will do the same to their husbands. Most wives will be angry and sad to see their husbands go gambling or use their own money to play gambling.

I feel like it is different situations in that regard, like if you are talking about gambling against your friends, that is rarely a high amount because they would be scared of losing too much money as well. I have played poker with my friends for years now and we never go overboard, and that is usually the way we do things together, which means I would be losing very little if I lose, since others do not want to increase the stakes fearing they might lose too.

However, if I am gambling against a computer, like a dice game here, then my friends wouldn't really care, not that they would want me to gamble a lot, if possible not gamble at all, but they won't care enough to do anything.
