What are the motives that drive you to gamble?

Most gamblers are addicted to it. Is only few ones that can control themselves. I was once a gambling addict. Then I wasn't enjoy gambling because I feel so sad when I lose.. It take time before I can control this. Now I take gambling as fun because I gamble with money I can avoid to lose.

Several people I met told me that gambling is the same as trading crypto which means they don't use that money that they can use for the necessities of life. so with that strategy, if you lose all your money, you can continue your life without any burden to think about what have you to eat tomorrow. I used to say gambling for fun several moments ago, but when I think about it again, it's like a bullshit quote, because Fun if we are winning, and stress when we are loose. So, to overcome it, use the money that you can't use for life definitely will not burden you.

This is why one should only gamble with money you can avoid to lose. When it's come to gambling, nothing is sure. The least team can beat the most superior team. Take a look at the case of Argentina and Saudi Arabia in this world cup. Assuming one bet is entire life on Argentina to win, imagine the loss and what will become the person after the game. Addict gambling is bad and can cause one to commit suicide. It should be stopped.

I have no addiction problem , but I have some irresponsible decision sometimes that I mostly valued as mistake in gambling.

But now that I have become more mature ? nope I am not having  difficulties  In my playing instead I only valued those as happiness and enjoyment ..

Realization will struck someone who's too addicted in gambling. When he's got nothing left anymore and you're right that when he's completely drowned.
But if he says that he's making sure that he's in control and he's not losing that much, he can confidently say that to others and tell the truth of his situation. Although some gamblers are only tellinogP that just to let others think that they're doing okay. This is for those that are hiding the reality of what they're experiencing.

Yes you are right that mate and that is reality as we all know once a gambler get addicted they  are only realize when there are one scenario in their life that they can not forget, for example from rich to poor, from lucky to in lucky then there's a chance that they can realize that they are alewsy addicted to gambling. That's why if we are a wose gambler we won't bet bigger amount amount cause not all the time we will win.

There are the gamblers that would like to bet with big amount because they're living the mentality of YOLO. They believe and think that it's the resort that they can do because that's what they'll be doing to get themselves satisfied with what they have remaining on their pockets.
It's highly unlikely that they'll just stop gambling and as the title says, there's a reason that motivates them to keep on gambling. Either they're an addicted gambler or they just want to chase their losses.

My mood drives me into gambling. When i am over excited i gamble and sometimes during that state of happiness i get lucky but when i am moody i avoid gambling. I don't gamble because it is fun to gamble but because i feel like gambling that way i get enough fun in that even if i lose since i played in my happy mood i will remain happy.

Loneliness drives people towards gambling. A common man who is into gambling will surely think of gambling and makes his entry when he is lonely. I've personally experienced it and gambling with some reason ends in loss whereas gambling for fun used to bring winning from the event.

Assuming you collect $1000 weekly as an example for salary, will losing $10 to $20 affect? I do not think so. Anyone that is not expecting loss should not gamble at all. This is actually what makes gambling a funny activity. It's the sensations and feelings you get while you play whether you lose or win, happy or frustrated.. However, frustration should be temporary and don't last for long otherwise gambling won't be funny anymore and you may start making bad decisions like trying to chase losses.

On a normal circumstances when I gamble, I really do not see it as a profit making goal alone. However, I  see it as fun to do, meeting with people, making new friends, and also getting more experienced in gambling because there are always new things being learnt everyday and this gives me the satisfaction I derive when engaging in gambling activities. but gambling for fun actually loses almost as much money as the real gambler. because when gambling for fun someone will start gambling with money worth $ 10-$ 50 and that is for a day. so almost every day they make a deposit of about $ 10 to $ 50 and if you add up it is almost the same as real gamblers who use bigger money.
and in my opinion gambling for fun is relatively more relaxed because they gamble using money they can afford to lose.
