I see the same thing when I load the forum, but it doesn't last more than 10-15 seconds, and after that I can log in quite normally. I think something has changed in the past week regarding CF, but no one has reported problems with logging so far, but only with some automatic processes/bots.

Not just for you, I also experience similar things. Few hours earlier I wasn't able to reach Bitcointalk at all. Now it works, but loads slower, as mentioned above it takes about 10-15 seconds until page loads.

I was going nuts over the 503 error I was now getting when trying to log into the forum from one of my scraper processes. It was working fine until a while ago over clearnet with my process. Getting 503 error also on a third-party scraper accesing Bitcointalk.

(Not that) glad to see it’s a common issue of some sort.

I also use Tor (through Tor Browser) and experience same problem. It took 10 minutes to pass their "security check". Can't believe CF behavior changed during holiday session, it could give headache for some IT worker.

I couldn't log in trough Tor browser, so I used another browser.
It turned out that Tor browser has an update.
After the update, I was able to log in the first time but it's still slow.

I used a browser and it took me less than 5 seconds. Although, I did not check the seconds but it was pretty fast. I used Tor browser I it took me just 6 seconds, I checked the time and it was exactly 6 second.

If not working, probably you need updated version.

After the update, I was able to log in the first time but it's still slow.

Just seeing this now, if you see such error next time, updating your browser should be what to come your mind, I remember the last time it happened, I advice some people to update their browser and it worked (if not still working, then better to change to another browser).

In addition, it is best to always update your device apps, especially the ones that you use frequently.

My browser just showed the Cloudflare page for a few seconds during normal browsing. Bad Cloudflare

This happened to me, for more than 30 minutes I have been getting the same error.
security check using TOR and Firefox with EU VPN.
Strange, I have tried several randomly sites that using CF and there are no problems, so it may be related to the forum CF settings.

I am not using VPN neither am I on Tor, I am using just my plain Chrome browser on my mobile phone and each time I type out a comment or post and click on the post button, the screen in the screenshot appears and stays for like a minute before my post is finally submitted.
I was wondering if there was any kind of attack attempt on the forum which activated this cloudflare as a way detecting and locking out attacks.

Turns out everyone had the same problem.
I also experienced it when entering via mobile. even that takes quite a while to get into the forums.
but when accessing via Chrome on a PC, everything is smooth even though it has to go through the same view. but it doesn't take more than 15 seconds.

I don't think it was that kind of attack, because I also faced this problem some days ago, although I was able to enter the forum in 20-30 seconds, here I see it takes 15 minutes.  I would say changing the browser might solve the Issue. Because when I was using chrome browser, I used to face this issue often. Now I use Brave browser, So far such problems have not occurred yet.

I faced the same cases with you have to pass clouldflare early before accessing to Bitcointalk website, I don't get problem yet and using chrome as browser can running well for opening Bitcointalk forum. Maybe you can change browser from TOR to other browser like Chrome, Mozilla or Brave.

Usually TOR detected with browser have VPN access, you login access to Bitcointalk forum trough using abnormal IP or detected without using local IP, depend with you but I think little risk when accessing not only Bitcointalk forum but also exchange market account will give trouble later for account get freeze as abnormal activities IP login.

When I am browsing it from my phone (not using VPN or TOR) I saw it several times, the rate of seeing the cloudflare page is higher than usual. But since I logged in (TOR) and already made two posts, yet did not see the page.

It's obviously a pain. I even had to browse the forum without seeing images/icons (those load from server). It was annoying experience but since I am familiar with every possible action buttons, it was not that hard to do the regular things without even seeing the images/icons.

My scraping processes are now working properly again, at a lively pace, so at least something seems to have been changed/fixed somewhere. Let’s see whether it runs smoothly from now on without further issues, or whether it is a fortunate window of time in the midst of a longer time necessary before shouting out eureka …

I just have seen and got this message with " Checking if the site connection is secure " for about 3 to 5 seconds.
I wasnt logged out and just refreshed the webpage and after that i not have got it again even as i have more tabs open.
On all other tabs i dosnt got this message.

Same here when I refresh the tab. I was expecting that I would see the site when I got the message about 3-5 seconds and after that I also didn't see the message. I don't know how many times you guys experience this but in my experience I think I came across this message more than once even though I don't have any problem with the internet connection. At first, I thought it's a problem that not everyone will experience but it is in general. Maybe CF are fixing something.
