This was the tournament I thought maybe Turkiye would go far though I did not believe they would replicate what Greece did by not only getting to but also winning the final all those years ago. In both cases, both teams were clearly underdogs. What Greece did when they beat Portugal in the Euro final in 2004 shows how difficult it is to win the tournament.

Even after Netherlands scored those two goals just six minutes apart, Turkiye were fighting to try to get an equaliser. In my opinion they deserved a 2-2 draw at the full-time whistle.

As for England, they have been playing atrociously bad in the tournament yet are in the semi-final. If they made it to the final they would have to be the most undeserving team to have done so. Alongside them, France also have been playing bad, they did not manage a single goal from open play all tournament yet are in the semi-final.

I am still expecting Spain to play Netherlands in the final.

We were definitely better against Netherlands. However after our manager became late about substitutions, things turned around in the match all of a sudden. The main factor changed the match was Weghorst's entering the match at halftime.

I made a bet on England to win the tournament at the beginning. However now I know that this has a very low probability. If England qualify for the finale I'm absolutely going to bet on the team against them to try to save my money.

Even though France is not playing so well, I think they can still surprise in this game. I believe that Spain is still the favorite for the match, so most bookmakers are paying less if Spain wins... But since they are two giant teams, anything can happen... (I bet on Spain  )

Spain won and advanced to the final on a historic day for Yamal, the kid scored a beautiful goal and went down in history as the youngest to score a goal in the Euro, interestingly the previous record was also set against the French , was by the Swiss Johann Vonlanthen.

I really enjoyed the first half, a very electrifying game, even with disadvantages the Spanish didn't give up and went after the result.

I believe that the opponent will be the Netherlands... England have a very remote chance of winning this game due to the football they currently play.

Spain have made it in to the final, congratulations to them. France may have played better in most parts of the second half but overall the Spanish deserved to make to another Euro final (they won the tournament in 2012).

What a brilliant talent Spain have in 16 years old Lamine Yamal. He is already showing he will have a stunning career. The way he scored his goal and the way he played throughout the tournament (and the way he plays for Barcelona) clearly shows he will be the next global megastar of the game after Ronaldo and Messi.

I am expecting Spain to win the tournament by beating Netherlands in the final.

So excited for the semis!  Got the predictions on the England match and the Netherlands match down. Let's see if we get lucky again.  

Spain vs France...  Against what everybody is thinking, I think this one's ending in a draw with a goal a piece,  So 1 - 1 draw.

As for the Netherlands vs England, it's gonna be a tough match for both.  I think it's gonna end at 1 - 1 too.

As for which teams go to the final...  Dunno, tough one to call.

I wonder why everyone (especially bookmakers) rate the probability of a 1-1 draw significantly better than a 0-0 draw? Seeing how the games are going (for example, the French national team), it seems to me that if you bet, it’s better on a 0-0 draw. In the England-Netherlands pair, it seems to me that England will be the “brake” of the game, and in the France-Spain pair, both teams can choose a “reliable” game and repeat the Portugal-France game.

That's because both teams are more likely to score at least a goal than not.  But it doesn't matter now, Spain won 2 - 1.  Now I hope England wins and we'll have a good ol' Spain vs England classic.  Would've been nice if England really had a good manager to look after the English national team.  On paper they're prolly up there as one of the best squads in Euro 2024.  I'd say up there with the French national team.

I really wouldn't mind to see Mourinho manage the English team.  That could give World Cup implications imho.

Yeah, I had the same thoughts here; France and England were both awful but somehow made it to the semifinals undeservedly; anyone who has been following the England team's games would agree that the Netherlands deserves to qualify for the final as they have been one of the most impressed teams thus far; I expect the English team to run out of luck, just like France did last night.

Well that was a surprise. England came back from a goal down to win the game and make their way in back to back Euro finals. England will face Spain in the final.

On the whole, England played a lot better than they had done in previous games but they simply are not good enough tactically to be taken seriously. Yes they have talent in abundance but they did not get to another final on merit, they got their with too much good fortune. Watkins saved the day with the late winner, what a substitution by England manager Southgate.

As the game was settled in 90 minutes they avoided extra-time and penalties and as a result should have energy to try to challenge Spain. Having said that, I am expecting Spain to win the final in 90 minutes.

Too much noise in the English media; I can't wait to see them thrashed back home, so I'd stop hearing the Bellingham ballon D'Or debate.

England managed to get a win against what most commentators and spectators would have thought but based on their current play alone none of their players deserve to be shortlisted for any individual player awards. Bellingham was never in my Ballon D'or list, it would be a strange outcome if he won it but it would not stop those shouting loudly that he deserves to win it.

Wow, what an amazing game from the Netherlands and England! I wasn't sure who to bet on until a few hours before the game, but I settled with England, and fortunately, this was my biggest win of all. The final is on Sunday evening. Will they manage to win against Spain? Although their performance was great and far better than the previous games, I have my doubts, as I find it very unlikely, but judging by today's performance, I wouldn't be too surprised. Patience till Sunday, and we'll see soon enough.

My money is on Spain vs Netherlands though.

Looking at this now the results are in, I was only right about Spain. They have been the best team in the tournament and England? Not so much yet they're in the final. Netherlands would have made the cut if England wasn't awarded that controversial penalty. They never moved on from the penalty decision and played shit for the remainder of the game.

I don't know guys, but I have a feeling England might get lucky one more time. It would be unfair to see Spain lose it to a lucky England team when they go head to head on Sunday.

Yamal  did one goal for the team of Spain before Kolo Muani did first goal of the match And at that point, match was equal and any team could win this match . But Spain team played well and match didn't went to penalties and if penalties happen then Spain team could lose that match because that was risky thing for Spain team and France team has good hitter and good goalkeeper. I don't know why that is a suprise for you, Gareth Southgate knows how to gets to finals but winning it, is were there's a curse. I was watching the game with hope knowing England could turn the table around and they did eventually, making it back to back finals for the three lions. I got this feeling, this might just be the attempt they finally lift a trophy. England luck has just being their best player in this tournament.

Spain should obviously be favourites but don't be surprised to see England win, it's the finals and things can go anyway. Avoiding extra time entirely would had boost the confidence of the squad as they will have more hours to rest before the big game. I bet my money on England, they didn't play as I expected them to as I thought they would dominate the tournament based on the quality in the squad but they have made it to the finals and what matters is who wins the tournament and not how they played throughout the tournament. Winning the tournament means they were the better team and that all they have to fight for now.

It was a close game, both were bookies' favourites, so no one is surprised how it ended, but we can all agree that the penalty was given softly and was never a penalty, the contact was soft, both players were on a landing, and not to mention the handball on Saka prior to the penalty incident, even the English legends were all against the decision. That decision, combined with Depay's early injury, absolutely ruined the game. It's encouraging to see Southgate in back-to-back finals, but the journey hasn't been great.

Lucky me I didn't had any bets on this because my original idea was to go with Netherlands as I can't stand the England football of this Euro but last night we finally saw them playing what they are suppose to play and it's a well deserved victory in my opinion.

Regarding Spain ...I doubt England can defeat them but I do see the game going extra time or even penalties because Spain is playing mega football in first 45 minutes but as soon as the 2nd half starts , they kinda drop in pace and that is where England will try to speculate and score.

Southgate might find a way to get to finals and semi-finals of these huge competitions but they are not playing convincing football, on many occasions they seem vulnerable in defence and seem lost when it comes to midfield ideas. By far most providers will keep odds on Spain winning. We know it is a final and anything can happen but Spain are playing excellent as a team, they can absorb pressure when they are in defence and they can attack with ease when going forward. England look tired and beaten before the game has even kicked-off.

What has to be addressed is the era of Ronaldo and Messi dominating the Ballon d'Or is over, they will never win it again.

I remember Ribary, he played stunning football almost consistently with Bayern Munich during his 11-12 year there especially when they won the treble with that excellent 2012/13 season. Ribery was nominated for the Ballon d'Or alongside Ronaldo and Messi but ended up third and Messi was second while the winner was Ronaldo. Even in 2021 and 2023 when Messi was awarded the wins they not based on merit they were politically based and definitely unworthy. The Ballon d'Or has no real value left except being an expensive publicity stunt.

Even if England reached finals they really had luck to actually be this far and it would be kinda unfair for them to win because Spain is by far the better team with better football style and actually better players. Unfortunately, Netherlands failed to win against England. I think it is an ideal final between Spain and England. I guess you will favor Spain to win in the final match. If we consider the performance of England and Spain, Spain deserves to be the favorite team winning the match. Just look at the probability, Spain is ahead by 10% for the percentage of winning probability.

On playing quality alone, England clearly do not deserve to anywhere the final whereas Spain have been the team of the tournament. Southgate might find a way to get to finals and semi-finals of these huge competitions but they are not playing convincing football, on many occasions they seem vulnerable in defence and seem lost when it comes to midfield ideas. However, a team can win due to luck factor, or an unforeseen thing during the match. In theory, England may have unconvincing performance, they never won the match with significant scores. Meanwhile Spain often won with big scores and their defense looks very tough. But we can't deny that England has quality players, those players can surprise Spanish players in the final match. If Southgate can apply a proper strategy and choose the right players in the lineup, it is not impossible to see a surprise result.
