Just like with other topics concerning speculations, things are uncertain. And with this month for this year, I doubt that there'll ve an increase alreadym There are no clear signs and also no things related or connected for a possible increase with the interest of investors or simply the demand towards the market value of Bitcoin.However, If the market price will somehow climb up to $20k, that would be a good thing because there will be a chance for a recovery if not for the first quarter, but for this year's hope.

I can see that not all investors, especially those who have lost their money in the FTX scam exchange have moved on and forgotten about it. They are still in the recovery stage and this could be one factor that holds them to invest for now due to continuous decline after a huge surprise. I can't make myself not lose hope but as the current situation remains like this ( low demand), I would say reaching $20k this month is quite impossible. But of course, I won't say it never happens, yet we just need more time and maybe this will happen before the 1st quarter end.

Indeed what happened is still fresh for this industry. There are still people on my circles which are anxious of the incident so I guess it also affect other investors as well which might contribute at the present bearish market behavior.

And if you look at the market conditions that have not shown positive signs in early January, especially bitcoin, I think there is still a possibility of a correction in 2023 and projections until early 2023. And there is a possibility that the price could be between $ 15,000 or it could reach $ 20,000. because both prices are reasonable and close and there's a chance it could happen, but going up to $20,000 I don't think it's going to happen this month.

I think no matter how much they focus on it, eventually they will have to move away from it one way or another. I get that they might still be in recovery mode, and some maybe not even recover ever because they lost a lot, this is billions we are talking about after all so there will be a lot of people who will be forever gone but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with such a big drop neither, it is going to be not matter.

I personally feel like those are not the people we are looking at, we are looking at something like having a good amount of approach from the big hedge funds and so forth, if they do that then they can start the bull run for sure.

actually that is the maintaining price of bitcoin in November to December last year and staying that level is more appropriate to expect than lowering or pumping .

Or it will trade sideways, just like most of the month last year, we will just have some few increased in the price but the rest is always sideways and then huge dump. So I will say that it's not possible, but very hard to reach $20k at the start. And usually January is kinda slow month, everyone is still maybe looking at their finance and probably paying some debts on their credit card due to holidays.

So I will be really surprised if suddenly there is some sort of good news to push the price to $20k. And the effect of the FTX is still fresh on our mind and so investors are very reluctant at the start of this year to re-invest back.

I don't think bitcoin is going to go up this January but rather there is a possibility of going down first and stabilizing there for some time. And it wasn't until Q1 was over that the bitcoin price would slowly increase and get back above $20k. But there will still be significant price swings from $20k down and up again higher. But I don't know, that's just a prediction and I also don't know if it's really going to happen like that or whether the bitcoin price will immediately increase this January. Agreed, the new year has started but there are no positive signs for cryptocurrency. What if the price of bitcoin increases to certain higher price and fall back? A year consists of 365 days, bitcoin can not for long not volatile, it is either bitcoin will go below $10000 this year, but which I do not think it is possible, or going higher than $20000. It is definitely possible. I see new year as a new start and even though 2022 was a bad year, that doesn't mean that 2023 has to be a bad year neither. I am honestly expecting at least 30k before summer starts and that means we have 5 months to reach there and maybe a 20k during January would be a good start.

In any case, 20k is not too far away and it should happen, it would give the year a good feeling and when people see it start to grow, there will be some bad news popping out everywhere by people who hate bitcoin, if market ignores it and grows then bull will start, if people still stuck to them then we will go back down, it all depends how we react.

going into 2023 it looks like prices below $20k are still pretty cheap, and this year could be the year bitcoin recovers to reach above $20k or even $30k. the bear market is still quite in control in 2022, but in 2023 it will probably recover if there is no drama like what happened previously happened.

But I shared a picture and saw that the price of Bitcoin has gone up in the last three years after four years. But here we passed the disastrous 2022 dumping year. As per the picture chart here, Bitcoin price is expected to rise a lot. However, in January, the price of Bitcoin may not remain in the $20,000 range. DXY dollar index rose 1% today and for trillions of currency worth thats a big move, it would not seem to indicate we reach some break out scenario for BTC in any rush.    I think 20k or above would be a breakout from what price action we've seen most recently, if true that I think implies we require momentum and probably multiple factors like a weaker dollar and wider speculation in markets overall.

If bitcoin breaks out tomorrow, maybe. But even if it doesn't, everything in my core says that this year will be interesting. And i am guessing it will be profitable to buy anything. Well almost anything. Some projects always will get left behind when the bull run starts but i am guessing bitcoin won't be one of them.

Thanks, I haven't follow those info and so it's good to hear a huge influx of money, however, for crypto, still we can't break that $17k in front of us. Seems to be very big wall and I think it will be a good indication that if we can break that this early, we might see $20k in the next couple of months.

We just need to have that momentum and break out run, to see that price reaching the psychological barrier of the round numbers, and maybe after that it will be a good year after all. Although the air of bear market is still there, it's not that very shaky as compare to last year.

we have just entered 2023, exactly 1 week has passed, we have left 2022. so there are many gaps that must be seen in the current market cycle, including the market needs a strong push to be able to break the resistance of $18k in this month before we fly to $25k. Yes, but still a good start for this year as we jump over the $17k range now. It's been a barrier December last year but in just the first 9 days of 2023 we have broken it so that is a good accomplished whatever we look at it.

Of course, everyone wanted a $20k rise, but it might take sometime and January is too early for that.

Maybe around March-April when everything has settled down a bit then possible that the biggest resistance can be overcome.
