How to create a watch only address

So here is the scenario, I have an Electrum wallet on my laptop. Now i want to download electrum (or any other wallet on my android phone) and setup a watch only wallet on my phone.
The reason is that since i carry my mobile always with me, i do not want seed to be stored in my phone, A watch only wallet will help me see my funds and in case of a phone lost, my bitcoins will not be at risk.

I'd use Bluewallet: https://bluewallet.io/

Go to your electrum wallet -> information -> click the QR code button (or manually copy the master public key).

You then open your Bluewallet -> select "Scan" and you're done.

Easily done with Electrum on Android.

Create a new wallet, give it the name you want, select "Standard wallet" and then "Use a master key". From there you can either paste in a master public key or scan a QR code of the master public key.

Alternatively, to watch individual addresses, create a new wallet and select "Import Bitcoin addresses or private keys". From here you can again paste in individual addresses or scan the QR codes of individual addresses.

On your desktop wallet, you can find the QR code for your master public key as OmegaStarScream has explained above, or you can right click on an individual address, click details, and then click on the QR button to get a QR code for that individual address.

You can create a watch only wallet with bitcoin address to watch the transactions on the addresses, or with your master public key which has all your bitcoin addresses.

On Electrum to create a watch-only wallet with master public key. Click on standard wallet, 'use public key', paste the mater public key or use the QR code for it and click on next...

To create watch only for certain addresses, you will import the addresses. Instead to click on 'standard wallet', click on 'import Bitcoin addresses or private key' and paste in the address or addresses like this:

Note again that with watch-only wallet, you can not spend bitcoin, only for making unsigned transaction (to be signed on a cold storage) and for checking transaction history.

If you are only monitoring one address than you don't need to install any app, just use browser explorer and bookmark page with your btc address.
Best way would be to connect hardware wallet with your electrum wallet, so nothing will be saved on your desktop or on your mobile device.
With watch only wallets you can't send coins and make transactions, but when you connect hardware wallet you can do everything and monitor your addresses.
