This is why saudi needs to target the players that were coming to their old age. Since they will not able to play in the pro scene again then they must be leaving to join another league. I doubt Al Ittihad's massive spending to sign Son Heung-min will work. Son seems settled at Tottenham, flourishing as a vital player after Kane's departure. Being a star at a large European club is important, especially for an Asian player like Son. He's established himself there, therefore he wouldnt leave for a big salary. Al Ittihad should prioritize teamwork over star acquisition.

The Saudi League club is trying to approach West Ham's central defender, Nayef Aguerd, and it seems like the Saudi League will never extinguish its fire in continuing to hunt for players, especially from EPL clubs. Nayef Aguerd is actually still quite young at 27 years and he has been the main choice for West Ham's defense this season. I think Son Heung-min still on golden age and he wants spent career with top european team, less possibility he will accepts with Al Ittihad interest for signing him because he wants target get many tittles as possibility with top European teams.
