Al Hillal have secured their championship this season and of course their closest competitor Al Nassr is no longer able to catch up with the points in the league, Al Hillal unbeaten performance in the league is certainly an extraordinary thing, especially this season they are not strengthened by their star player Neymar, and with relying on many local talents but it turns out that Al Hillal is able to do something that is indeed difficult for Al Nassr to do this season even though there is Ronaldo in the the squad, winning the league unbeaten of course requires consistency and also a very big mentality especially the opponents they face are a strong teams full of European star players.

I think the rule by the governing body on the number of European stars the clubs can aquire in each summer market is a big reflection on how badly they want to do well whilst they still play football. Under the tutelage of Jorge Jesus, Al Hilal really shined in the Saudi Arabian League and in the Asian Champions League. Just getting old players doesn't mean anything, we need to realize that we should be considering the situation to be sensitive and that is why I think it would make more sense if they just started to use that money to get younger players. If they keep on getting 35+ year olds, then they are not going to keep growing as a league, plus it is not even just about players but also about staff and the infrastructure as well, all of which would cost a lot of time.

What's your reasoning behind saying that Al-Hilal might feel regretful because they didn't sign Ronaldo? 

Al-Hilal was by far the best team in the Saudi Professional League WITHOUT Ronaldo. Who cares about Ronaldo when you win the Championship without him? Actually, the title must feel even better when there is a team thinks Ronaldo would win them the title, but Al-Hilal destroys them. No Ronaldo needed huh? Al-Nassr didn't even score as many goals as Al Hilal. Offense worse, defense worse.

Many people have made news about Ronaldo's condition at Al Nassr, but according to my opinion, he still wants to stay at Al Nassr. The Spanish news channel also reported on him and as far as I know the newspaper also claimed that Ronaldo's Arab lifestyle was very different but there was no comment on him leaving the club. But for the team as he has not been able to show anything good that he might have fire in him and that's why he might come out. But I think he will never do this because if he leaves without a trophy then his weakness will be spread out. He will not be released from the team unless he is able to win the SPL for Al Nassr.

I also think the same as you. Ronaldo will prefer to stay in Al Nassr because he wants to win the SPL trophy with Al Nassr. He is also almost 40 years old, he may begin to prepare of the retirement. It is not clear yet who will replace him and I didn't see any related news to this.
So Al-Ittihad decided to change its coach again after approximately six months in charge following Nuno Espirito fate with this club.
I find the decision quite expected but earlier than what it was supposed to be. I think being sacked from the King Cup of Champions, being random in Saudi Pro League and humiliated by Al-Ettifaq with 5 goals to 0, just accelerated the process.

It would be stupid if Al-Hilal did not extend Jorge Jesus' contract, in fact the club should have given him what he asked for because he succeeded in bringing this team to be the best this season in the Saudi pro league.
