It feels like it's only been one season in the Saudi pro league but Saint Maximin feels like he doesn't feel at home anymore and I think this decision came from his own awareness. How could it not be, because he came here at a fairly young age and was only interested in the large amount of money offered by Al-Ahli. I'm noticing a trend in the Saudi pro league, and that is in them trying so hard to replicate the European league or possibly do more than the European league so they can get almost same attention the European leagues do get. Last season most of the Saudi sides were looking to buy players fr across Europe a d even in this new summer transfer window, they are sticking around with their bids to get a chance to sign as much as they can to strengthen their leagues too.

Soon the Saudi pro league will get the desired and they crave because of the quality of players a d coach they are beginning to get do to the transfer and signing they have been doing in recent times, it's been an interesting league do and quiet interesting at their current levels but it's still not enough to be compared to the leagues in Europe.

In recent years they have focused on recruiting players who play in Europe and now they are continuing this habit by starting to pay more attention to bringing in coaches who have been in Europe for a long time. They already had things that made them comfortable when they first got a lot of attention because they brought in the stars that we have seen in European leagues. Their goal is clearly to make the Saudi Pro League more popular and they have achieved that now.

I emphasized to them not to forget something that is basic, I mean they must also pay attention to developing young players. I honestly don't know what they do with coaching here, I hope they have good coaching too. Because if they forget this, it will affect their regeneration which may be slow. They should care about it somehow. They can do this along with what they do with their new habits.

I don't think that they have good coaches from SPL and this is why they are more focus on European coaches because that is what they need to bring up young players that have great football potential in them. Young players are now the future of a club but these Saudis prefer to recruit old players that will expire in few years. How long will they keep on buying players that will not last long in the club. But I believe that is their first strategy after now they will start going for young players in Europe but it will be a difficult task.

To be fair Saint Maximin never felt like he was the player he used to be because Newcastle used him differently. He is not a "star" player that will give you goals or assists, he is the player that will carry the ball to the other side, and that is what he has always done. He will be able to do that better at Fenerbahce, they have other players who can score or pass, they needed a winger who would be able to get the ball wherever, and dribble until the dangerous zone, and Maximin can do that.

What they need now is a good scorer, Dzeko was good and all, but dude is 38 years old or something, they need to get someone quicker, someone who can score more. It will be hard, but they could probably find someone who will do a better job.
