I'm not surprised they lost to Al Nassr and Al Hilal. On paper, the final result was already known, but today they lost to a team that was on par with them, even ranked below them. What's even stranger is that they struggled so much. What's the point of having the ball in their favor if you don't capitalize on it, at least create clear-cut chances. In my opinion, Cristiano Ronaldo not really need extend one year contract with Al Nassr if want break record 1000 career goal before ending this season because he can scores around 1 or 2 goals every matches.

I also have the same thinking of the possibility he might want to hang his boot upon achieving his 1000th goals in his career because it would have been an historic and honorable way of exiting the game as a superstar he is. It is obvious such milestone means alot to him maybe even more than any other trophies left in his list right now. I also know he has the ambition of winning the Saudi Arabia Pro league for his club as one of his targets but I believe the day he hits 1000 goals the motivation to keep pushing might naturally fade.
