Jorge Jesus achieved a lot here, in both clubs. But the manager has to move on to grow, and he could make more money in other leagues even though he was paid a lot here, however things not always are all about money, sometimes you take less money (because he already has money) and go to a club where you can win something more prestigious.

Every manager dreams of winning UCL for example, and if he can go to a club that could lead to another big club, then he can still do it, but he is aging, so he has to rush this now. He won't be going to any team that is fighting for UCL right now, that is not going to happen, all of them have good managers. But he could go to a team that can lead to him going to a UCL winner level team in the future.

Jorge Jesus has achieved 24 major trophies in his coaching career and i think that's enough for the Portuguese manager. He is an old manager who may not perform well if he accepts a move to any of the regular UCL clubs because the experience he has in the Saudi League and that of the European Leagues is not the same. Though in the past he successfully managed a team like Benfica in his first six seasons at the club and we know that Benfica is a regular team in the UCL. I think he should remain in the Saudi League and continue enjoying a huge pay cheque; besides he is nearing retirement from managerial role, so this is a time for him to make more money and not to stress himself too much.

I think the Portuguese forward may rather prefer to stay on at Al Nasr after the expiration of his contract, he has nothing to lose and I don't think many European clubs would be much interested in him by then so his only suitable option would be to renew his contract with the Saudi Arabian side Al Nasr, maybe for a short spell, at least this would guarantee him much more money in anticipation for his retirement and future investments if he intends indulging in something different after retirement.
I think that Cristiano Ronaldo will not get retired until he achieves his target of 1000 goals he is very passionate about it and there is little number which is left to fulfil his dream. So there is high chances that he will continue his contract with Al-Nassar and recieve his defined money from the team and after accomplished his goal may he leave from the professional football.  And after retirement Cristiano Ronaldo has a very bright chances as well to continue participating in the football world maybe with a different sight and a different designation. And I think Al-Nassar will not fire him or make him retire without his consent as he is a world class player and has great contributions in the success of Al-Nssar. But despite having all the thoughts the decision is definitely make by Ronald and let's see what he chooses for himself in the future

Yes, it seems certain that Ronaldo will strive to break the 1,000-goal record. Yes, if he does, he could retire. However, the decision is certainly in Ronaldo's hands. It seems Ronaldo doesn't want to retire from football anytime soon. He's still physically fit, even though he's over 40. So, we don't know what will happen to Ronaldo in the future. It's also possible that Ronaldo will continue playing for Sporting after his contract expires at Al-Nassr. If I'm not mistaken, Ronaldo's mother wants him to play for Sporting again.

I hope Al-Nassr can win the title again next season because I want to see Ronaldo lift the trophy again. However, the obstacles will certainly not be easy, as other clubs are also preparing everything. Do you also want to see Al-Nassr win a trophy next season?

Yes, it is certain that Ronaldo will not retire before his 1000 goal target is achieved, because it will clearly be a record that is basically very good for Ronaldo. In addition, currently Ronaldo still has one more season on his contract with Al Nasr, so I am very sure that in the remaining season of his contract at Al Nasr, Ronaldo will definitely complete his 1000 goal target. Moreover, currently there are other competitions such as the World Cup, it will certainly make Ronaldo even faster in breaking his record. Because Ronaldo will also participate with Portugal in this World Cup,, so it is certain that Ronaldo will also most likely score a goal in this competition.

So with that,, I am sure that by the middle of next season, Ronaldo will definitely be able to score his 1000th goal. Then, speaking of Ronaldo's future after scoring his 1,000th goal, I'm not sure whether he'll retire immediately or continue playing until he's older. This is still very difficult to predict,, considering Ronaldo still looks very physically fit. So, it's also possible that Ronaldo will continue playing and extend his contract at Al Nasr. So, we'll just have to wait and see,, as it's still very difficult to predict.

Too much focus has been put into the 1,000 goal target for Ronaldo. By focusing on this, everyone is ignoring the fact that Ronaldo won the Saudi Professional League trophy for Al Nassr this year, and almost did that during the 2025-26 AFC Champions League Two. Competition was fierce during this season of the SPL. And the PIF always behave in a biased manner, and this time also it was no different. They got Karim Benzema transferred to Al Hilal, in a desperate attempt to prevent Al Nassr from winning the trophy. Even that didn't worked. All that said, I can foresee Ronaldo extending the contract for another two years, and continuing to play for Al Nassr until 2029.

Yes, this is indeed a very good thing to discuss, because basically, we have always hoped that Al Nasr would become champions in the Saudi Arabian League, and this season it finally happened. So basically, this is clearly a very memorable thing for Al Nasr fans and also the players. Because basically, when Ronaldo was finally able to lead Al Nasr to become champions in the Saudi Arabian League,, it is undeniable that he was very happy and could not hold back his tears. So it clearly shows how much Ronaldo wanted to lead Al Nasr to become champions. So this is truly an extraordinary sight.

Because basically,, even though this is only the Saudi Arabian League, but the feeling is very different now. Because there are famous players in it, so when the team we like wins, it also makes us happy too. So that's how I feel right now. Furthermore,, regarding Al Nasr's continued struggles to become champions, I think that's clearly a matter that probably doesn't need to be discussed further at this point. Because those who prevented Al Nasr from becoming champions have now failed. And regarding Ronaldo,, I also hope he plays for Al Nasr for a while longer, at least until he can no longer play.

he’s really passionate about the 1000 career goals and i don't see him achieving that elsewhere but rather than the league his play at right now, age is really catching up with him but we know the goat always want to prove he’s still the goat that he’s. Only  few players  could  perform  at his age and player as an attacker  that need to be running  back and forth. I look forward  to his 1000 goals documented  on YouTube  as he has promised  if achieved  and I have no doubt  that he's  definitely  going to achieve  that dream.
Yeah, that is 100% the reason why he signed a contract for two years as well, because he calculated, with the way things are going, unless he gets some serious injury, then next season is when he hits 1000 goals.

And then he can retire, and he will be free agent because his contract is until next year, and when new season is over, he will be free agent and I am guessing he will just announce his retirement at that point. The only reason why he may continue, would be that he fails to reach 1000 goals for any reason.

Sometimes I wonder why people become so interested in Ronaldo achieving his one thousand career goals because I don't see how this would impact his career in anyway more than his entire achievements, for me I don't see anything special than what the player has achieved all through these years. Yea it might set a new record or fall into the league of players who have a thousand goals to their name but whether it happens or not, Ronaldo's name would never be erased from football history.

After  three years, I was one of the happiest person seeing Cristiano Ronaldo lifting Saudi pro league  with  al nassr Fc with star  player like sadio mane, Joa Felix and most importantly inigo Martinez who has tremendous improved  department of defence of alnassr, after the departure of Almeric laporte . Not forgetting also the manager jesus who also contributed to success of the team having  won the league with the experience he has prior to his arriva to Al nassr .l .

Even though Ronaldo knew Jesus was leaving Al Nassr, he tried to convince him to stay for another season but to no avail. Jesus still declared his mission was complete and chose to leave to seek new challenges elsewhere. However there's something interesting about Al Nassr current replacement. There are rumors that Al Nassr is approaching Pep Guardiola, who is currently unemployed after officially leaving Man City. However, I think these rumors are unlikely, as Pep has plans to coach a national team after leaving Man City.
Ronaldo feels indebted to Jesus, which is why he’s trying to persuade him to stay. Especially after I heard the news of Jesus’ resignation, in which he said that his true mission was to help Ronaldo win the Saudi Professional League title. that’s truly remarkable.

Now, it remains to be seen who Al Nassr will hire as their new coach for next season. I hope Al Nassr’s new coach will be able to help Ronaldo achieve his goal of scoring 1000 goals before he retires from soccer.

The rumors that Al Nassr is approaching Pep Guardiola are, in my opinion, completely untrue, and I can assure you that Guardiola will not be joining the Saudi Professional League. Moreover, Guardiola has already expressed his desire to spend some time with his family first before deciding which national team he will coach, as I’m sure many national teams will be vying for his services once he announces his intention to coach a national team.

Ronaldo is a great player and for him scoring the numbers of goals he's still scoring at this age at the Saudi pro league is something that is amazing me he's doing very well and I also believe that he will do very well in the world cup, he is going to make a significant impact in the world cup if he can take free kick and score goals at this age I believe he will do same in the world cup the level of effort he will put in the world cup we surprise everyone I know his old already but his age does not affect him from doing the things he is supposed to do which is scoring goals, if Portugal end uplifting this world cup Ronaldo has made history and can never be forgotten but if they still don't let the world cup he has also made history and will also not be forgotten.

Personally I don't feel Ronaldo owe anyone or even himself anything to proof again, the man has literally won almost everything a player can win and even though he hasn't won the world cup yet, I still don't feel it's a must to do so, there are so many great players like Ronaldo that failed to even get their hands on the trophy and some of them possibly due to the fact that the nation they represent isn't up to standard to getting that far to winning it and also so many great players after Ronaldo too will fail to win because of their National team strength.

Jorge Jesus is having good success in the Saudi Pro League two wins with different clubs are enough for him. He still wants to stay here, but how things will work is not sure. A few rumours are clearly linking him with AC Milan, but most chances are they will not go with this because he does not have experience in Serie A.

Currently, too many coaches and clubs are looking to fill spots, but most chances are things will start to go well after the World Cup because right now they are mostly working on their own ways and have no updates about their future assignments. Staying in the Saudi League is surely going to be good for him, but now with which club? It's honestly interesting to follow.
Winning two Saudi Pro League titles with Al Hilal and Al Nassr is good success and achievement. I knew that Jorge Jesus still wants to stay in the Saudi Pro League but he can't because Al Nassr management doesn't want him to continue as Al Nassr head coach, and no other team in the Saudi Pro League want him. There are a lot of coaches who has experience in Serie A but they couldn't perform well when they are hired by Serie A team, so I don't see Jorse Jesus lacking Serie A experience as enough reason why AC Milan shouldn't hire him if they want home to become their next manager.

Honestly what Jorge Mendez has done can me go unnoticed and for all Al Nassr fans he had changed their life’s. We all know what winning the Saudi pro league means to every team that is challenging for the title, it means more to them than the AFC champions league. Personally I think Jorge Mendez is a very good and experienced fish and I think he will succeed at AC Milan if he get recruited.
For now who will succeed Mendez is still yet to be discussed but I believe they will get someone of high profile, someone that will them the league back to back.

Yes,, I think you're not the only one happy about this. I think the majority of people who enjoy discussing this forum would also be very happy to see Al Nasr become champions. But apart from that, if we're talking about the defense, to be honest, I personally don't think Al Nasr's defense is at a good level of resilience. Because basically, even though Al Nasr has won this season, it can't be denied that Al Nasr often concedes goals when playing, whether against weak or strong teams.

So that clearly indicates that their defense is not fully formed. So that's why I hope that in the coming season Al Nasr can buy some defenders with good qualities,, so that this can make Al Nasr's defense even stronger. Because I really believe that if Al Nasr's defense can be stronger next season,, they will likely have the potential to become champions again in the Saudi Arabian League. So that's why I hope that Al Nasr's management team and their new coach, who will definitely be there, can consider buying quality defenders.

And generally, if Ronaldo managed to pushed the Al Nassr team to have secured a major win of the title, then it should be a good count on Ronaldo’s legacy in the club which is something Ronaldo has always tried to achieve whenever he got into a team newly, the tradition is he will take a title for the club and he has been able to consistently do such thing over his entire career which is a big milestone for him. So we should truly not just focus on his 1000 goal target without acknowledging also his sportsmanship in winning the title for the team by transforming Al Nassr to become a champion. I wish he would be able to do the same for Portugal and I think winning the world cup could even make him ignore the 1000 goal target and hang his boot thereafter.

Ronaldo is known for setting goals and achieving them. Winning the league has been a burning desire for him at the club and he has also received several media backlash for some years he was in the team without winning the league. Every blame were all coming to him. Many people even claimed that Al Nassir was always winning titles before his arrival whereas if you check the last time Al Nassir won the league before his arrival it was a couple of years back. So I have been wondering why it looked like Ronaldo was the problem. The arrival of Jorge Jesus was the last hope he needed and it finally happened. Scoring a brace on the last day of the league was a huge achievement for him because he doesn't want to risk getting a draw since a draw can mean that he won't lift the league.

If Ronaldo can make it to the world cup final, then I'm very sure he would win the world cup and that will be the biggest thing to ever happen to his career. But even after achieving the world cup, he won't stop until he has scored the 1000 goals because he needs a record that will take ages to break and that 1000 goals is such a milestone. I wish he could win the world cup because for me, he has a good squad that can help him win the world cup easily this time ahead of any other team.

If you look at the odds for 2026 FIFA World Cup, a lot of the sportsbooks are placing Portugal as one of the top-5 teams. From what I can remember that was not the case in any of the editions since 2014. Either Portugal's performance has improved, or the performance of other teams (esp. Brazil, Argentina and Germany) has gone done. IMO, it is a mix of these two. Whether he performs well in the tournament or not, I want him to continue playing in the Saudi Professional League. At least until 2029. As far as I am concerned, he still remains the world's best footballer (even at this age). It would be a criminal offense for him to put an end to his playing career in the next 1-2 years.

It been a very incredible season for Ronaldo and all Al Nassr family, these players, fans and the coaching staffs have put in so much this season that they really deserve to win the league. I’m furious they couldn’t get the double but we all know the league is what really matters most. The arrival of the new coach and some players also changed how they play before. This season these players looked very determined and motivated, they played this season like their lives depended on it.

I really sad to see that Jorge mendes is leaving after this season, now we wait and see who will be appointed for next season. For me I believe regardless of who will come, the team will still challenge for the title next season.

And for the World Cup I really wish Ronaldo can add it to his cabinet, football owes him that.

After Al Nassr won the league at the end of the season i can confidently say that Al Nassr is the reason why Ronaldo is not winning the league and i can also said that Saudi Arabia is doing everything to put Al Hilal ahead of other teams, Al Nassr signed good players like Felix and Koman including the coach that lead them to win a trophy and they started having a good season, so if they did not make that signing the team will not win a trophy and Ronaldo will not win a trophy this season? Al Nassr need to keep signing top players from Europe and i wanted them to sign a player like Casemiro who is still in good form for Manchester United and leave as a free agent, if Al Nassr want to continue win a trophy they need to sign more players because Ronaldo alone can not do it.

Saudi Pro league is standing on a different level right now they just make their league famous worldwide infact they are now receiving the attention from all over the world. And the main reason why the people from across the world are giving attention to this league is the many talented European players who just make this league more worthy by their presence in it. Because if we see the same Saudi Pro league some years ago they were not as prominent or famous as they are today. And Cristiano Ronaldo has really a great contributions in this regard. Because Ronaldo was a player who is known by all the world due to his unwatchable skills in the football world. And still his presence at Al-Nassar make the league attentive to the people who has a great fanbase for Cristinao Ronaldo.

it's true, i also think it's at a very different level, this is definitely something that happens often, when some championship wants to be seen it starts to invest a lot in very strong players but then they never push properly and the championship goes to pieces, for a period they all went to China.

I really do wish he will actually be able to get these accomplishments for and with Portugal at the World Cup this year, especially as this may be the last he may be playing in his entire football career.

One reason his 1000 goal target is getting more attention is because that seem to be the course that will see to his retirement and many just wants to know when that will be eventually and that is why they will always make most reference to that as against others in this current time.
