The same is true for every person and every player, no one can ever be everyone's favorite. Many big stars and many big people say that Messi is the biggest star in the world and his behavior is very good. He never thinks about himself alone but thinks about everyone. Even then, there may be many people who will stand against him. Ronaldo is a big star and he always performs well and no one can ever deny this. Although there are some people who don't like Ronaldo, even if Ronaldo scores 2 or 3 goals in every match, even then, the people who dislike him will still talk a lot about him. I've always rooted for both players. Ronaldo is more popular, he has a great love for football. Now, if I had to say who I consider better, I have no doubt it's Messi. The things Messi does on the field are of an extremely high level. Messi receives the ball, dribbles, gets past opponents, passes the ball in very difficult situations, and when the ball returns to him, he manages to score. Messi has unique skills. It's not something you find in other players. While Ronaldo has common skills, which you see in Mbappé and Yamal. I know many people find it hard to accept this, but just watch many of Messi's games calmly, without hatred, without fanaticism, just calmly, and you will see the obvious.

Messi has unique skills better than Ronaldinho? Messi doesn't have skills or should I say do skills, prime Ronaldo, I mean the Manchester United version of Ronaldo had skills, Neymar has skills. I think the problem is confusing skills for ball control and movement. Messi has ball control that's why it's difficult to get the ball off him when his with it. A player with skills is easier to get the ball of him than a player with ball control. I don't even think you watch Messi for those of you that claim to be his fans that's why you don't know the difference between a skilful player and a player that has ball control and movement. Those shows that Neymar, Vini, Ronaldo puts up, that's skill. Have you seen Messi doing any of that, no you won't see him. Messi uses control to dribble past his opponent and it's difficult to get the ball off him with that technique. If you watch Messi, you will notice the ball is not far away from his feet compared to players that have skills.

In short,, they need to train harder to go further in the World Cup,, and they still have four years to build a stronger squad.
Saudi Arabia is trying to get their team better so they can be more competitive by 2034, the year that is planned to host World Cup. I suppose if they fail to have local players they will hunt young international ones and give them citizenship. Yes, Saudi Arabia could certainly adopt this approach if they are unable to find local players who are performing well. After all, many teams currently excelling at the World Cup rely heavily on player naturalization strategies. There is no reason why Saudi Arabia shouldn't do the same, especially given the number of high-performing footballers with Saudi heritage out there. I fully support Saudi Arabia utilizing this strategy. However, we should also consider the local talent, as there may well be Saudi players delivering strong performances; the Saudi league has become highly competitive, which I am sure drives local players to work harder to secure their spots in their respective teams. Let’s see what steps Saudi Arabia takes in the coming years and evaluate the prospects then. Ultimately, given their financial resources, Saudi Arabia is certainly capable of achieving a great deal.

Saudi Arabia will host it in 2034, and by then, there will be another one. They were good last time, they did not do well this time but they were at least joining, there were many years they missed before, so they are at least here, and in 2030 I bet they will be here again, and maybe they will go out of group stages.
By this pace, and with increasing interest towards football thanks to Ronaldo transfer, by 2034 Ronaldo would be there for almost 10 years, and by then ,some kids who grew up watching him, would be interested in football, and they could have a new great generation to do very well in 2034, they should not lose hope.

Saudi Arabia still has about eight years to go before it hosts the tournament in 2034. And they still have the opportunity to improve the quality of their players. I personally believe that Saudi Arabia’s move to bring world-class players to the Saudi Arabian league is intended to boost their profile and even learn a great deal from them. I’m confident that Saudi Arabia is in the process of developing to compete even better at the World Cup. And they’re sure to surprise everyone at the next World Cup if they manage to learn everything they need to. But if they’re unable to learn enough to adapt then they’ll fail or even put in an unconvincing performance. Saudi Arabia has so much time to perform well in the next World Cup making me confident they can improve significantly. And they certainly will prepare their best for the next World Cup when they host it.

A star player will usually be pressured by any party where he is required to perform optimally, but as football fans we should also know that Ronaldo age is getting older and his stamina is starting to decrease even if Messi can score a hat trick it is because they are facing a weak opponent they are clearly facing a different opponent so it cannot be compared, we must be able to give Ronaldo a rest room it is all about teamwork not just individual. Ronaldo declining performance this season and the following seasons will not destroy his reputation because we know who Ronaldo was when he was younger and his current decline in performance is clearly due to age.
I actually agree that age has affected Ronaldo physically and at that age they is no foot baller that can actually escape that but then I don’t think it is only about facing weaker or stronger opponent because at this stage of his career, Ronaldo has actually shown he can still score goals even with playing against senior teams that has young a vibrant players at his age and to me as a Ronaldo fan I think his current performance should not be used to judge his entire career because looking at what he has achieved over past year so many players have not achieved it till today, and a decline at 41 is completely normal. Ronaldo does not give up easily even though he is already 40 years old, most players who are his age must have retired and their performance has clearly decreased drastically but he still shows determination and enthusiasm to be able to return home as a winner, even if he can not win the world cup title at least football history has recorded his name as the best player of his time and that does not change any facts, it is not easy to maintain strong stamina in the midst of energetic young players and we must acknowledge his greatness until now.

Saudi is already a nation where the interest in football is intensely growing everyday and that is the reason why you see them bringing in world class players to play in the saudi proffesional league, the reason isn't far fetched, I believe the idea is to help the indigenous saudi players experience football at the global level in order to help provide players with experience who will represent the country in the future, I don't know how sustainable this might be but I think it's a good initiative.

Age was definitely going to interfere with Ronaldos performance at a time, and we are seeing that it is gradually encroaching already. Alot of players will not be half his form at this age, he has proven time without number that he is just so exceptional, except for age of which is very much unavoidable. It will be dumb actually to judge his entire career with his current performance at this age, we have seen how much he was able to get at a much younger age which some players through their entire career never and will never achieve.

Many top players end their career once they notice that they can not added anything to their team and when they saw that they will ruin their name inside their historical club. Some of them move to their initial team or small league to end calmly his career there. Well I can understand but the situation is quite different for Cristiano Ronaldo because his performance is quite good regarding his age when we compare him to the others. He will retire one day and he would better move to coaching teams some day.

That's right, I have no doubt, but you know, it gave me some disappointment in Saudi Arabia, because they have a tremendous league, with the best European players in the world playing there and they haven't adopted the technique, that's something that deceives me. I think the Arabs have lost money on the investment if their players and schools don't appreciate the European technique that comes with a lot of experience. Of course, I know this is a long-term process, but even so, their results are not at all satisfactory.

There is no use putting vast amounts of money on world class football stars without getting to know how to do it right. Players and coaches need to be ready to reform in order that the nation can grow. It is a valid complaint because no major changes in terms of the quality of the local game have been initiated with the help of large investments. Football requires time to really develop.

I was able to watch all of Portugal's three games in the group stage of the FIFA World Cup, I think it's now obvious that age has started catching up with him. His feet are weaker than they've ever been and for his strength, pace and agility, they're no longer at their peak. He's still lethal as a striker because of his goalscoring experience. I honestly don't think he has more than 1 season left to play professional football. This World Cup is definitely gonna be his last international competition and for club football, I expect him to retire at the end of next season.

Saudi Arabia was not a team that normally wins the world cup but shockingly got knocked off from the group stages this season. They were never that much of a great team and the fact that they did joined world cup only to fail at group stages is around where people assume they were, best case they would lose at round of 32, but that's about it, who expected them to do even better?
So I do not understand why the fans are mad that they failed? I mean did the fans suddenly started to believe that they could do much better?

Right now they are no where near that stage where we could say they are a force to reckon with, even in the previous World Cup where they beat defending champions Argentina, they still got knocked out in the group stage and so there is still lots of work to be done in the Saudi national team as regards building momentum especially as they plan to host the world in the nearest future.

I do believe that we are going to see things change one way or another, it is not going to be easy and we are going to end up with something that should be helpful for Saudi Arabia. I agree that Ronaldo joining has more value than people realize, and the one who talked about how more people will play more football and we will see more investment, that matters.
If the league and the country starts putting up hundreds of millions of dollars towards raising kids with good youth setup, instead of some old European players, they will have great players on their own country as well. Imagine spending 10 million each, on 20 different places all around the country, you can have hundreds of kids there all the time, thousands on total, all getting the best help from the best youth coaches because they have the money to afford that, and suddenly Saudi Arabia will be a centre of football.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are the two big names of football world and both have the very significant achievements in their concerned field. But still I think they both are not on the same page and not even their fans as well. The fans praises both players but also have a favouritism element in one side. Cristiano Ronaldo is a very great player and more than this it is often observed that he is also a very humble and kind person which makes him more credible and more amazing. This is my way to think about him that he is the kind person and may be there is someone who will not agree with this statement but this doesn't mean that anything will result in any problems.

The truth is, as I tell you, I felt a little disappointed by Saudi football and what they showed in the World Cup. They were eliminated in the first round, they didn't perform at all. So, the schools, everything should be geared towards rapid learning, taking advantage of the techniques that the current players use, improving every day. As long as they keep bringing in high-caliber players, they have to do better. Well, that's what I say because in a league like this, the teachings and techniques should be preserved.

You're absolutely right,, my friend. Even though Saudi Arabia has been eliminated from the World Cup, they still have high hopes of continuing to develop their football. I'm convinced that Ronaldo's arrival in Saudi Arabia will have a significant impact on many young players attending football academies there and training diligently. With that in place, four or eight years from now, these young players will have matured,, and one of them will surely be a player for the Saudi Arabian national team, representing them in the World Cup. Therefore,, I don't think Saudi Arabia should be disheartened by only being able to compete in the group stage. It's undeniable that Saudi Arabia is in a group with some pretty strong teams in this World Cup. Therefore,, it's understandable that they failed to advance to the next round. Their performance hasn't been up to par with other competing teams like Spain. Therefore,, Saudi Arabia needs to be even more determined to continue strengthening their national team.

Those type of unexpected results do happen sometimes. I mean Germany failed to get out of the group stages on that world cup in 2022, and Cape Verde got out of the group stages on this one, and we can safely assume that it's clear that sometimes things like these do happen in world of football. I think it's clear that we are going to see Saudis to stay in world cup almost every time, doubtful if they are going to miss 2030, they will probably be there, and in 2034 they will host, so they will be around and gain some experience.

I know many people find it hard to accept this, but just watch many of Messi's games calmly, without hatred, without fanaticism, just calmly, and you will see the obvious.
clearly, being everyone's favorite is impossible, i understand that it is very difficult, Messi or Ronaldo always comes to mind, the eternal challenge that will never change, there will always be someone who will be hated and someone who will be loved, and so it will also be for the future footballers who are coming out now.
