Yes, if it is true that Jesus is currently coaching Portugal, I think it is very good, because I think compared to the previous Portuguese coaches, Jesus is clearly superior, I think. So that is why it is a very good choice for the Portuguese national team to be able to make Jesus their new coach. Besides that, talking about Ronaldo, I think we don't know for sure where Ronaldo's journey in football will end, because basically, even though he currently looks quite fit, he could decide to retire after this.

But even so, I also don't expect that to happen immediately, because I also really want to see Ronaldo play with the Portuguese national team and also with Al Nasr. So I also hope that Ronaldo will not retire immediately now, and can continue playing until the next World Cup. Because if Portugal is currently coached by Jesus, it will definitely be very good for Ronaldo. Because it has been proven that in Al Nasr, Ronaldo is very suitable for the tactics implemented by Jesus.

It's true that relying solely on Ronaldo won't make Al Nasr a better team. A team that wants to perform well must have a squad that has players who have good and even performances. Therefore, I think Al Nasr really needs to bring in new players to improve their performance. Another thing that Al Nasr should pay attention to right now is their defense.

Currently, Al Nasr's defense is still not very good. In the previous season,, they always conceded in almost every match, even when facing weak teams. Therefore,, I think Al Nasr needs to bring in more defenders so that their squad can be more balanced in the future. Their attack line is already quite good,, so they only need to improve their defense more optimally.
That is not easy to achieve when you have fans like Ronaldo, and Ronaldo does nothing about it. Just take a look at Portugal, dude literally said "Before me Portugal had nothing, I won with Portugal, I retire with ease" literally making it all about him, seeing himself above the nation.

Not only that, in group stages, his teammates got attacked, not just attacked like some bad words on twitter type of attacked, literally their whole family got bad things said to them, only because Ronaldo didn2t get a pass they wanted. And Ronaldo doesn't go out and say stop. So yeah, if Al Nassr builds a good team around Ronaldo, and they do well without him, fans will be mad that someone else scored and not him, and that won't go well.

If Al Nasr wants to retain their position or the trophy, they will definitely need to add some better players to their team. Because if they are only dependent on Ronaldo, it will never be the right decision. Everyone must accept the fact that Ronaldo is getting old and he is gradually making an impact on the game due to his age. Although it is very difficult for other players to perform like him at his age. But Ronaldo is a good player and along with that, they need to add some good players to the team.
Al Nassr knows by now that Ronaldo is getting close to retirement as the day goes by, and so they cannot throw their dependency on him at this time, it will be fatal to do such because,  obviously his efficiency will be on the decline soon and he cannot do those things he does for the team before now, he can only be supportive and do some much within his strength now.

Al Nasrr will need to start signing younger talent who will maintain the form of the team in the long term, they brought in the likes of Ronaldo as a strategy to bring some attention to the team and league generally,  now they have that,  they should fix the team so that they can maintain the attention they have earned already.

Currently, the Saudi League and Ronaldo are the best ever romance. Both need each other because without Ronaldo, the Saudi League is going to their old level. This could be a big setback for them; hopefully, they will do their best to keep him for a few more years. This will give them a good increase in their quality, and also they could be able to bring in more players; that will be good for them.

Al Nassr already gave 5% ownership rights to Ronaldo. This is a huge incentive for his services in the Saudi League. Now Al Nassr spends funds to bring in a quality coach. This could also be good enough; big names are joining this league, which means good improvement, but still, it needs Ronaldo's services for the future.

After what we saw from Cristiano Ronaldo at the FIFA World Cup, I don't think Al Nassr will want to make the mistake of believing in the Portuguese to start and play full 90 minutes week in, week out again next season. He's very willing to make that happen but his body is gradually telling him how tired it is to continue performing consistently at top level. I believe the Saudi club will sign a younger striker that'll likely be Ronaldo's understudy and lead the attack in games Ronaldo will be absent or start from bench

After having an early exit from the World Cup and now too much negativity about his performance and future, it's going to be a not easy time for him and his family as well because he is having no plus points for his country in six tries, always having not enough performance and results, which means it's a good time to give up and stay at club level.

Thinking about the next World Cup is not a good decision because this will make more mockery for him; the future is secure, and the target of 1000 goals is also achievable in the coming season. It's going to be the ideal end of his career, thinking about winning the World Cup after four years, surely having more pain and more negativity. This is not good for a person who is living like legends.

Even though Portugal is currently coached by Jorge Jesus, I'm not sure Ronaldo will play at 45, as that would be pushing himself too hard. However, for the upcoming European Championships in 2028, Ronaldo might still be in Jorge Jesus squad. However, a World Cup seems unlikely, especially since Ronaldo has already stated that this will be his last. Furthermore, we can't deny that as we age our performance will automatically decline and that's evident in Ronaldo's current form.

In fact, I'm quite certain Ronaldo will retire soon after reaching 1k goals in his career especially since he only needs 25 more goals to reach 1k. If we look at the current Al Nassr coach Ange Postecoglou who is a fairly experienced coach, then it is likely that the number of goals needed by Ronaldo will only need one more season, especially since Ange Postecoglou was brought in by Al Nassr to be able to defend the SPL title after Jorge Jesus resigned.

It is true that if Al Nassr wants to keep their title win intact in the upcoming season, they must reduce their dependence on Ronaldo because we can see that this player is not able to perform well now and even in this 2026 FIFA World Cup, he could not make that important impact for his team Portugal. In fact Al Nassr needs another perfect striker who can play well in Ronaldo's absence. However it can be said for sure that Cristiano Ronaldo played a big role for Al Nassr in winning the SPL championship last season so it is expected that he may be able to perform well for this team in the upcoming season as well but his performance in this World Cup was not at a high level.

What do you mean he his not being able to play at that level again. A player that was the highest goal scorer of the season that just ended, a player that pioneered the team to win the Saudi pro league. Using the World Cup to judge him is really bad, if you truly watched Portugal games in the World Cup you will know he didn’t have the services he use to have at Al Nassr. If given the chance we all I will Ronaldo will score, he his the greatest goal scorer in the history of the game.

Well even if a top striker is brought to the team, he will still struggle to get playing time because Ronaldo will still play actively next season.

I hope Jorge Jesus does the justice we all want, trying to replace Portugal's toxic midfield. Yes, they played excellently for City and Manchester United, but not for their country. Besides, they were a source of total envy for Cristiano Ronaldo. Now we'll see if they're called up again and who will bear all the responsibility, because before they blamed everything on Ronaldo, now we'll see who they blame. In fact, the moment Ronaldo is no longer in Portugal, I won't see this team as something to support.

Postecoglou will be a very good coach but they already won the title so the expectation is to win the title again, and I am not sure how great he is going to be. I do get the idea that he is a good coach but after winning the title, even if you finish second place, there will be some situations at end.

This is why he will have some problems, plus the team is one year older as well, Ronaldo is aging out, and he will retire after this season I am sure. So they are going to have some troubles, I do hope they make some good transfers.

By looking at Ronaldo's side who sometimes have a tougher nature I think there will be a possibility that a 1-year contract can at least be done because he will not stop now before his 1000 goal target is well accomplished.

For the Portuguese national team he might have been hopeless and retiring could have been a good move but for a professional club career before his record could really be on the up I don't feel sure Ronaldo will retire.
He has 976 goals to his name and it would take another 24 for Ronaldo to realise his goal of 1,000 goals a season would make sense to keep him at the club.

Now he has extended his short-term contract for Al-Nassr and we will still see how he performs in the next season.

Ronaldo has the type of crazy fanatics where if you have a free shot, and you take it and score, they can STILL be mad at you that you didn't give the ball to Ronaldo who was also free. Imagine playing in a team, with a player, where you are not even allowed to score if he could score.

This is why both Portugal and Al Nassr are very hard teams to play for. Many players left Al Nassr after him, and Portugal is not the same because that's national team, but I am sure they will get better after he finally leaves.

Cristiano Ronaldo already has a contract till the end of the 2026/27 season. It's already been announced by both Ronaldo and Al Nassr because he is optimistic about his 1000 goals target, and Al Nassr wants him to stay till the end of his career.

After having enough criticism and things that are highlights on social media regarding players behaviour with Ronaldo during this World Cup, I am personally expecting he needs to be announced about his retirement from the national team because this could be better for both parties, but the arrival of Jorge Jesus is interesting because this will bring a few changes that are going to be positive for Portugal.

Hopefully, they will announce their strategy for the future in the coming days, with Ronaldo's future being important.

Ronaldo needs to extend his contact in order for him to achieve his 1000 goals milestone if not, his mission wouldn't be complete. If next season starts, I believe that he should be able to score 24 goals in all competitions in SPL that Al Nassr will take part in and he will be the king of game because the winner in football is judged by the team with the highest goals in full time.

What he did with Al Nassr was make them win, even with CR7. Now things are different; they have Jorge Jesus for Portugal, and hopefully he can convince him to play for Portugal for a long time. With CR7's ability, he could easily play in another World Cup alongside his son, even if CR7's detractors say otherwise. But that's how it is. I would want him to. With a coach like Jorge Jesus, history would have been different.

Yes, if it is true that Jesus is currently coaching Portugal, I think it is very good, because I think compared to the previous Portuguese coaches, Jesus is clearly superior, I think. Having 36 years' experience in clubs, after 10 days he could be 72 years old. I am really surprised with this move because I have never been expecting this, but it happened, and now it's going to be a new era for both Portugal and Jorge Jesus. He has never been regarded as a top coach at the club level but has still done good work with many titles under his belt.

Can he bring changes to the toxic Portugal midfield? They need to do enough work and also have a good number of changes for improvement, with their target now being the FIFA World Cup, which is going to be played in Morocco/Portugal/Spain. This could be interesting. Ronaldo's future is also at a crucial point because of too much negativity about his performance in the World Cup; hopefully, they will settle things about his future.

We know how great Cristiano Ronaldo and putting the comparison between Ronaldo and lionel Messi aside, CR7 has achieved everything in football. So in my opinion, I don't think Ronaldo should play in the next world cup due to his age, because thehow would the young players coming up get a chance to prove themselves? I know Ronaldo fans will hate to hear this, but the bitter truth is I don't see anything special that he did in this world cup for Portuguese team. Imagine if he play in the next world cup, for me, he should retire from the national team that would be better.

Postecoglou is now coaching Al Nassr. This is certainly not easy especially since Jorge Jesus did an outstanding job last season, winning the championship. Al Nassr management certainly has high hopes for Postecoglou to take the next level. This will be a serious challenge for Postecoglou if he relies solely on last season squad. Therefore, Al Nassr management must make the best transfers to face the upcoming season, especially as Al Nassr still has many weaknesses especially in defense.

Postecoglou task with Al Nassr will be even more challenging because following Matthias Jaissle's success with Al-Ahli, German coaches are flocking to the Saudi Pro League. Jens Wissing who recently led Gamba Osaka to the ACL 2 title has now been recruited by Al-Ittihad. Furthermore, former Bochum and RB Salzburg coach Thomas Letsch is also currently coaching Al-Shabab. Looking at the coaches who are coaching the SPL teams, I am sure that the competition for the SPL trophy this season will be increasingly competitive and very tight.
