Cristiano Ronaldo did an amazing job for the Al-Nassar and the Saudi pro league as well and i think it will be not wrong if it is said in the way that its the Cristiano Ronaldo who makes the Saudi pro league famous worldwide. And yes he did marketing for this league to introduce this league in the world and also attract many viewers and because of him many other players ate also come and joined this league. Abd his performance and his presence in his team Al-Nassar and in the league will be definitely a great thing always remain as his greatest achievement. And Cristiano Ronaldo has only few goals left in his target of make a new record as the first player who scores 1000 goals in the football history. And there is more chances and rumors also that after achieving his target of scoring 1000 goals he get retired and be the part of this game with a different sight.

Unfortunately, when Ronaldo retires, it will be the end of a real footballing era that has enthralled millions and millions of fans, without a doubt Ronaldo led to the vision of the Saudi championship, i personally didn't know the name of any team in the Saudi championship before Ronaldo started playing there. It's a shame because he's a serious professional.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a great prayer, he has done so well in football and he has made history in football also.
He was the reason why Saudi Arabia League is now being talked about by many people, he has made Saudi Arabia League very important in the media and he was the center of attraction, he made Saudi Arabia League what it is today.
If he succeed in getting his 1,000 goals in Saudi Arabia it will be a good one for the league because his a great player and everyone will always talk about it.
Me too it was when Cristiano Ronaldo started playing for Saudi pro League that I started knowing some team there.

Right, Cristiano Ronaldo success helping Saudi Pro League become more popular and many top Europe players moving there regarding interested offering from Saudi Arabia club. Ronaldo have instant effect how faster of Saudi Pro League growing up and become more popular domestic league from Asian, possibility Saudi Pro League loss the popularity if Cristiano Ronaldo retire or leaving Al Nassr for next season, for awhile Ronaldo have renew contract and stay one season later to help Al Nassr could defend the domestic league tittle.

Many say that Ronaldo's salary is mind-boggling, and it is certainly true but we must remember that with Ronaldo you also purchase the entire CR7 brand and all the following and advertising that follows, therefore he is a living sponsor who brings in huge revenues in addition to being the footballer we all know.

Of course, you only have to look at the fact that before Cristiano Ronaldo arrived, nobody watched the Saudi Arabian league; then, with his arrival, lots of other players followed and the league really took off. Now they’re investing heavily in football academies and lots of young people are taking up football because Cristiano Ronaldo plays there.
He’s become incredibly wealthy in Saudi Arabia, but then again, if you want the brand, you have to pay for it.

Saudi Arabia and even some Gulf countries were investing in football since a long time mainly Qatar and Emirates. Qatar has a very known academy in the region operating for long time. Saudi Arabia has a lot of foreigner. The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo was just dramatic comparing to the other names.
I agree that he deserves every cent spent on him and that he requires special treatment because he made the league more known worldwide. Meanwhile he had to help Saudi Arabia getting the World Cup in their home which was the case.

I hope other teams can also sign some solid players during this transfer window. Reportedly, Al-Hilal is also very keen on M. Salah, who is currently a free agent after his contract with Liverpool expired. However, there are still no further details about which team will be M. Salah's next destination as of now. unless I've missed the news.

Al Hilal who showed during the Club World Cup that they are a really strong team that has nothing to envy of teams of the highest European level, therefore the fact of taking young players with very high potential like Summerville absolutely demonstrates their value, therefore absolutely capable of competing for next season's title.

If the regular influx of stars continues, it will soon become the most popular league in Asia. For now, Cristiano Ronaldo is the one who is maintaining the popularity of the Saudi League, if he retires, it may reduce the popularity of this league, or some other player may gain popularity. Since the amount of money in this league is very high, it is not too difficult for them to buy old stars. Maybe someday we will see young European players in the Saudi League if the league becomes more popular.

Who knows how things will go, Ronaldo certainly automatically leads to an influx of views and interest towards this championship having been "the pioneer" who went to the Saudi Pro League, then players like Benzemà followed him, however at the end of their careers to put as much money in their pockets as possible before retiring.

The Saudi side Al Hilal didn't perform badly in the FIFA Club World Cup after drawing with Real Madrid and beating Manchester City. But they lost in the quarter-finals to Fluminense FC. Reaching the quarter-finals doesn't automatically mean that they are strong when compared to other European clubs. Crysencio Summerville's transfer from West Ham to Al-Hilal is a positive development as the SPL is attracting young talents. There are also speculations that the club is targeting Ousmane Dembéle. I find it impossible unless the French star wants to become one of the richest footballers.

This is a misconception because they do not lack money, Cristiano Ronaldo gives money to helpless people. He entered the Saudi Pro League at a high price, but he is teaching them to play according to advanced plans and designs.
If you catch him, he is acting as a coach, so I can say that they did not lose anything by letting Cristiano Ronaldo enter the Saudi Pro League, but rather they gained.
Cristiano Ronaldo has the biggest role in helping Al Nasser Club reach a higher level, Cristiano Ronaldo's entry into Al Nasser Club has filled the lack of a coach.

Before Ronaldo joined Saudi pro league, most people don't even know about them, you won't even hear about the league, but after Ronaldo joined things changed, and people are now interested in the league. Most clubs in the Saudi pro league are now signing famous European players just because they need more popularity, and they want to improve their team's performance.

True. Cristiano Ronaldo is now a symbol, and like Jordan in basketball he is no longer just a famous player, he is the very emblem of football and of the perfect athlete who has no tattoos because he donates blood, of the poor child who came from nowhere who becomes the strongest of all, Ronaldo is the story that we all love to hear and all this brought him to Arabia, increasing his visibility significantly.

Honestly Ronaldo have put the Saudi league on another level, since his arrival we have seen a lot of players move to the Saudi league, they are not just getting old players but also good quality young players. Well if he retires I want to believe the Saudi football association have something on ground for him, to keep him in the environment at least.

Reaching a 1000 goal is now the goal for Ronaldo, he needs a season on 2 to get it and I believe he will do it. He his a man that his determine, a man that loves chasing and breaking records. Reaching a 1000 goals is next for cristiano Ronaldo.

As Ronaldo says, is not him who chases records but the records that chase him, a pure phenomenon and for me the best player in the history of football, he shaped this sport, he made people fall in love with sport and with treating oneself well and taking care of one's body, a finished athlete who once he breaks the record of 1000 goals will once again become a legend.

Saudi professional league received attention because of Cristiano Ronaldo, because these players you mentioned came to Saudi league after Ronaldo arrival. I'm sure there were several European players that were in this league before CR7, without the league getting any recognition. And who knows whether Sadio Mane and Karim Benzema came to this league because of Cristiano Ronaldo? Yes it's possible, because if you look Al Nassr you can see most of their lineup are European players.

certainly there were already European players but no one who shifts the balance like the most followed man in the world, and I'm talking about numbers... Ronaldo is the name with the most followed on Instagram in the world, he literally made the Saudi Pro League known to the West which before didn't even know a single team.

Yes, you're right. Ronaldo pioneered other star players to come to Saudi Arabia. Ronaldo impact on Saudi Arabia is indeed significant from revenue to broadcasting rights to making the Saudi Arabian league highly competitive. The SPL is so competitive Ronaldo has been in it for three seasons, but only won the SPL trophy with Al Nassr this season.

But even if Ronaldo retires or moves on, I think the SPL will remain competitive, and many star players will still want to play there primarily because of the money. Furthermore, Saudi Arabia long term project of recruiting star European players is to keep the SPL competitive and elevate it. This long term project is clear as Saudi has been officially appointed by FIFA as the host of the 2034 World Cup. So, Saudi Arabia goal is clearly to improve the quality of the league, which will also impact the Saudi Arabian national team.

Yes, it is true and I agree with you, I started watching the Saudi Pro League after Cristiano Ronaldo joined the Saudi Pro League and I started getting to know almost all the teams in this league. But yes, if the Saudi Pro League is to develop in the long term or maintain its position on the world stage, it will not be enough to rely only on big stars but they will have to find the talents of their own country. When they can develop their own players, they will be able to maintain such a good reputation in the long term.

LOL.. Al Hilal, the sore losers in Saudi Professional League for this edition.  Grin

The PIF managers were favoring them over Al Nassr, and even after that they failed to win the trophy. Karim Benzema was specifically moved from Al Ittihand to Al Hilal, just to prevent Al Nassr from winning the SPL trophy. But that was not enough to prevent Ronaldo from winning the trophy for Al Nassr. And now Al Hilal have been handed humiliation at the FIFA Club World Cup. I am not saying that defeating the Manchester City is a mean achievement. But when was the last time when Al Hilal performed consistently? Either in the SPL or in the King Cup?

If we look at the pre-2023 situation of the Saudi League and the post-2023, we will be able to guess at least a little about Ronaldo's effect. Since Ronaldo joined the Saudi Pro League in 2023, many of the star players have expressed their desire for the league. That trend started after Ronaldo joined. Many other star players have joined the league, including Karim Benzema, Neymar, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and many. Considering that, I certainly cannot deny the contribution of Cristiano Ronaldo. He certainly has brand value. The club is also getting a lot from him, based on the amount of salary he is being paid. It is also true that not everything should always be evaluated by money. Ronaldo's contribution to the Saudi Pro League's success is immense.

Nobody doubts CR7's ability; many criticize him because he's 41 and still in shape. Many frustrated players label him as bad, saying he doesn't have the level to be in the first division, much less another. The truth is, if I were a professional and didn't have at least the same number of wins he's achieved, I'd keep my mouth shut, because I have something to hide... so toxicity exists at all levels, especially in these circles.

You can't judge a player solely by his age. If a player maintains fitness levels and works on it, then he maybe able to perform well even at the age of 45. On the other hand, if someone entirely ignores his health, then even at 35 he may struggle. I have seen a lot of people claiming that Ronaldo chose the Saudi Professional League because the competition is not as tough as the European leagues. That is simply not true. Among the top 7-8 teams, the competition is fierce. And even the weaker teams can sometimes surprise the smaller ones. And we all saw how Ronaldo carried his team during the recently concluded FIFA World Cup. Just proves that even at this age, he is one of the best players in the world.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but according to what I've read, Ronaldo doesn't just receive a high salary; he also received 15% of Al Nassr's shares. It seems he's also entitled to special bonuses for winning titles. The club subsidizes his private jet and those of his personal staff, and according to what I've read, the club doesn't earn enough money to cover these high costs. In other words, the club isn't making money from Ronaldo's continued presence. they're only gaining attention. I could be wrong; I'm basing this information on this source. I believe that for 2 or 3 seasons these high costs might be acceptable because he attracts a lot of attention. But now that he's very old, these costs have started to weigh heavily on Al Nassr's finances.

Ronaldo is undoubtedly a great player with a massive fan base; indeed, the Saudi league has gained prominence precisely because he joined it, and Saudi Arabia has done a great job raising the SPL's profile. I’ve also become familiar with several Saudi clubs thanks to his move to the league. If Ronaldo manages to score 1,000 goals in the SPL, both the league and the player himself will undoubtedly become even more famous. We will have to wait and see how things unfold, though it remains to be seen whether he will perform even better in upcoming SPL matches.

It's only natural that Ronaldo is paid a large salary at Al Nasr,, as he is the one who made Al Nasr famous, and even the Saudi Arabian League has been swept up in the fame of Ronaldo's arrival at Al Nasr. That's why I feel that Ronaldo deserves a large salary. As we know,, Ronaldo is truly the one who helped make the Saudi Arabian League as famous as it is today.

With that in mind,, I don't think we need to worry about this or feel that it's unworthy of Ronaldo. Even though Ronaldo is old and his performance isn't as good as it used to be, he's still number one economically. As we know, Ronaldo is very popular, so wherever he goes, the place he goes to is sure to become famous. So that's why the Saudi Arabian league is really lucky to have Ronaldo in their league.
