Either Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo will get their first 1000 career goals, if they can't score goals in somewhat competitive leagues, they can score in less competitive ones. You should look into Diego Forlan, towards the end of his career, he even played in the Indian league & his final stint was in the Hong Kong league with Kitchee.
