In the 2025/26 season the current SPL champion team had the most trained attack department based on which they were able to win the first title after Ronaldo joined this club but they were not able to win the ACL two final match, the 2026 World Cup is over so it's seems to me they will need to add some experienced players to their squad this transfer summer if they want to balance their team.
Al Nassr will try to win the SPL title and if they play against Al Hilal, it will be a good challenge. Ronaldo wants to continue winning and scoring many goals. Of course they have to improve the team but they can do it, they will certainly balance their team. Ronaldo alone cannot win tournaments, other experienced and good players are needed. Al Nassr is not having a problem in getting many players to the team because they have enough players and last season they bought as many experienced players and anyone can see that, they team is good with the players they have, they just need to keep the hard work going and have the discipline of winning the league again because all the players they have now is not bad enough for them to take a ACL this season.

Al Nassr defensive problems have been ongoing for quite some time. While the attack isn’t a major concern, the players up front are quite strong and solid, as we saw in last season’s matches, Al Nassr may have appeared to dominate thanks to an attack that constantly pressured the opposing defenders, but mistakes in the defense often made the matches more tense. If the club’s management fails to sign quality players to strengthen the defense during this transfer window, i honestly doubt Al Nassr will have a chance to win the SPL title again.
I agree with you. Al Nasr likes to play very attacking matches, it is not unusual to concede goals in attacking matches. However, Al Nasr's defense cannot cope with that attack, conceding 1 goal against 3 goals is okay. But when playing against a defensive team, the team will not score many goals and you will not have any chance of making any mistakes in defense. Al Nasr mainly makes mistakes here, they seem successful in attacking matches, but in defensive matches their defense cannot match itself. That is why we saw Al Nasr struggling a lot towards the end of the season. They must increase their defense strength if they want to win the title in the upcoming season.

Never say never. However, Al-Nassr, beyond the defense, has an excellent attack to focus on. And i can think of many other clubs that struggle defensively, but on an offensive level they are very prepared and have brought home titles, such as Bayern Munich, for example, which is a totally offensive team and which has some deficiencies in defense, as seen in the Champions League. However, a defensive reinforcement would certainly be important.

I'm not saying AI Nassr should build from scratch because they already have an organized team but however is only some signing people are encouraging them to do considering that they're not the only club with talents because before they even started winning there was another club and that club still have a formidable force against them. Of course AI Nassr doesn't have an underrated squad and is notable by everyone regarding them but you should no that a previous seasons performance with the same squad doesn't guarantee the same thing even if we are predicting them a back to back trophy.
Certainly Al-Nassr, not in an easy way, but they will have the undoubted chance of repeating themselves this season, winning the Saudi Pro League title again. However, it must be considered that it is a team that is not making any particular movements in the transfer market, while there are opposing teams that are strengthening themselves to prepare as best as possible.

Although Al Nasr has a very strong offensive position, I am not worried about Al Nasr's offensive part, but they need to hope for some changes in their defensive part. Al Nasr needs to change themselves and take them to a stronger position. Last season, we saw that it became very difficult for Al Nasr to win the trophy and they won the trophy after a very difficult path at the last moment. Al Hilal has taken several measures for the new season and they are very active in the transfer market. So if Al Nasr wants to make this season their own, then they will definitely have to bring some changes in their team.
ye, Al-Nassr got a little lucky towards the end of the season, we can say. He lacks a real defensive personality. There are teams that are much better off in the same department. It definitely has to face some changes, despite the precarious market possibility.

The problem is that Al-Nassr is still unable to sign new players due to the restrictions they’re currently facing. so I think Al-nassr will still rely on their usual defense, which does sometimes have gaps that lead to them conceding goals fairly often, though the team has always been able to make up for those shortcomings with their goal-scoring output. But keep in mind, Al-Nassr has now lost one of their key players in the front line: Brozovic, whose contract has expired. I feel that Al-Nassr still needs him, as their midfield will likely be slightly weakened without him. It’s thanks to Brozovic that the rhythm and flow of the ball to the attack have been so smooth. I don’t know whether Al-Nassr will remain strong next season or not. But what’s clear is that I have my doubts about Al-Nassr.

I don’t understand what made Al-Nassr interested in bringing in Ange Postecoglou as their coach. Perhaps He has a strong track record coaching Celtic in the Scottish league and even Yokohama team in the Japanese league. But his coaching was highly questionable during his time with Nottingham Forest. And his tenure with that team was brief. So I personally not convinced that Ange Postecoglou can lead Al-Nassr to great success given his poor track record from that previous period. Al-Nassr needs a coach who can balance all their lines to compete effectively in every match they face. But it seems Ange isn’t the right coach by given his poor performance while coaching Nottingham in several losses which highlights his weakness in strengthening the defense or even balancing out each line. Ange Postecoglou must have a solid tactical plan to prove that he is a coach who shouldn’t be underestimated. And he must improve Al-Nassr’s defense if he wants to deliver strong performances. But I’m still hesitant that Ange can prove himself.

The 2 top scorer for Al Nassr have not really been available for them during this pre season games, in their last game Felix was only able to play 30 minutes of the game and cristiano Ronaldo was absent. These 2 players really played a huge part in the club winning the league last season. Ange is a good coach but I feel he will struggle in his first season in the league. Changing a manager have it own impact in a team, especially in his first season. Al Nassr have not been able to sign players this summer because they are in financial crises and I will tell you that they won’t sign any player this summer. Well I still believe the players available currently is more than enough to win the league again.

But their defense is shaky and that is what cost them last season. They scramble through to win the title, but it was not convincing. Al-Hilal are strengthening, so Al-Nassr can not afford to stand still. They need to fix that backline if they want to retain the league. Without that, they will struggle again. You can't keep relying on your attackers to bail you out every game. Eventually the defense will let you down in a big moment. That is what happened too many times last season, and they were lucky it didn't cost them more. If they don't bring in at least one solid defender before the window closes, they will be playing catch up again this season

Al Nassr's goal for next season is to win the AFC Champions League, yet they haven't signed any new players so far. Ronaldo alone cannot win even the Saudi league next season. As it stands, the only new signing the team has made is Samu Costa. I wonder if the Portuguese player, signed for 25 million euros, will be able to fill the void left by Brozović. Let's say that losing the Croatian midfielder to Al-Nassr was a really bad blow. He has always dominated and managed the midfield with excellent precision and reliability. Therefore, Samu Costa will certainly have to work much harder and i hope that he can find the right authority in midfield.

Therefore, Samu Costa will certainly have to work much harder and i hope that he can find the right authority in midfield. Al-Nassr squad remains quite strong despite the departure of some players they have successfully brought in new talent like Samu Costa. While defensive frailties had plagued the team in previous seasons, significant changes last year enabled them to clinch the SPL title. Essentially, those issues were resolved last season and the team is likely to perform at the same if not a higher level next season especially under the guidance of their new manager Ange Postecoglou. Competing in the SPL next season certainly won't be easy particularly given that rivals like Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli, and Al-Ittihad have been actively strengthening their squads. Furthermore, Al-Nassr has appeared relatively subdued in the current transfer market seemingly avoiding aggressive moves for new signings especially marquee players. Reports suggest this cautious approach stems from financial constraints currently under scrutiny by the PIF. Nevertheless, I am confident that Al-Nassr can overcome these challenges under the leadership of the highly experienced Postecoglou. After all the team already possesses solid squad depth and they may well become active in the transfer market again this coming January.

However, the new coach is a coach with a lot of experience, therefore, going to coach in a foreign league, with an already very strong team, should make his tasks easier. He will have to be good at finding the right harmony with the team, and he will also have to find the dynamic game that has distinguished the team.

Yes, Al Nassr should definitely strengthen their defensive front, because it is definitely not the part of the team with the highest quality. However, being a very offensive team, like last year, they will aim much more at closing down the opposing team in defense and putting them under pressure. If it happened the other way around it would be very dangerous, given that defensively she is still a bit rusty.

Al-Nassr is a strong team, but this year too they are probably the team that will have to be beaten if they want to win the Saudi Pro League. Even if they are doing little on the market at the moment, they are still a ready and very strong team from a tactical point of view. Certainly one of the most dangerous in the championship.

How strong were they last season? How strong will they be next season with an unchanged squad? While other teams are working to strengthen themselves, Al Nasr seems to be very relaxed. They had to fight till the end to win the championship last season, they won the championship by just 2 points. Even though they were able to win the SPL title, I cannot consider them a very strong team. If they want to win the title next season, they must be active in the transfer market and buy players for the necessary positions as well as the defense. You are sitting there thinking that you are strong, while the other teams are trying to be stronger than you. So the process of improvement should never stop.

Know doubt it is a very strong team in the Saudi pro league but not enough reasons for not adding more qualities into there team the same way other teams in the same league are doing currently now. One thing is having quality players and the other is maintaining consistency to face and defeat other teams, to maintain this consistency alot of things must be in place which the most considered factor is having a perfect replacement when the need arises. From my own opinion, I will say AI-Nassr needs more reinforcement in there team incase there is setback like injuries or suspensions so they can still have the requirements to continue dominance in the league.

Even if they are doing little on the market at the moment, they are still a ready and very strong team from a tactical point of view. Certainly one of the most dangerous in the championship. Al-Nassr is indeed one of the stronger teams in the Saudi Professional League. They have frequently finished in the top five over the past few seasons. But Al-Nassr has struggled to dominate the Saudi league and maintain its position at the top. In the 2025/26 season they struggled greatly to win the championship as evidenced by their narrow point margin against Al-Hilal. Over the previous three seasons Al-Nassr also appeared to have significant difficulty accumulating enough points to claim the top spot. And you can see that Al Nassr’s point total lags far behind several teams above them. So I personally don’t think Al Nassr is the strongest team in the league. Perhaps Al Nassr is the second or even third-ranked team that can be considered a strong contender against the other teams.
