The point is that penalties also depends on opponents activities. When the opponent is too scared of a particular team and don't want to concede a large number of goals from the team, they get very rough and concede more penalties. We have seen players commit penalties by clearly denying goal scoring opportunities and more strategic attacks. Will you now say that because Al Faisaly scored two open goals while Al Hilal scored 1 open goals, that makes Al Faisaly a better team? Pressures lead teams into mistakes and teams that go too defensive only loose by penalties most times while teams that believe in attacks score more goals and also concede because they don't get too defensive as they are interested in scoring more.

There is no problem in winning the match even after getting penalties. However, it remains to be seen whether the team can really show the ability to win. Al Hilal is definitely a reliable and good team, although they could not go ahead in goal scoring in today's match, but they went ahead after getting penalties. Al Nassr still has some areas that they need to be improve,areas like there defence need to be fortified. It's weak in my view because the goals Al Nassr conceded during last season was as a result of their weak defense.

Ange Postecoglou will be a great coach at Al Nassr, so hiring him was a good idea because with his experience gather over his years in the field makes him the right person for the job. I think Ange Postecoglou should start patching some loopholes in the team especially the defence that is where he should pay close attentions to. Al Nassr need to buy more quality defenders as that's the only weak spot I can see in the team. If they can be able to strengthen their defense then they probably will be unstoppable in this season

I don’t think you’ve really understood this properly yet. There’s nothing wrong with a victory, even if three of the four goals came from the penalty spot. Penalties are part of the rules of the game; it’s not fair to equate them with a weakness or to assume that Al Faisaly is better than Al Hilal just because Al Faisaly scored two goals without penalties.
If you think Al Hilal is a great team, you’re not wrong about that, but it would be even better to look at the results of all the Saudi Pro League teams—especially the big names like Al Hilal, Al Nassr, and Al Ahli—as they finish the first round. The first round alone isn’t enough to make a definitive judgment just yet.

I think that Ronaldo, despite his consistency in being a formidable athlete, is still starting to soften the physical side. In the sense that he continues to train, but he knows that his age is advancing and in my opinion he will start to prioritize other things. Al Nassr are the current champions of the SPL, so they are strong favorites for the upcoming season as well I agree with you on this. The new season of the Saudi League has already started and we noticed that Al Nassr faced the team Fateh in their first match this season but today in their first match against Al Fateh, the team is playing fearlessly despite the absence of their reliable player Cristiano Ronaldo and they are already leading 2-0. Al Nassr are looking to put in a strong performance in their first match of the new season, with youngster Joao Felix scoring a brilliant goal to put his team ahead against Al Fateh.

If Al Nassr can win today's match, they will be level on points with Al Hilal, as Al Hilal managed to win their first match against Faisaly by a huge margin of 4-2 as a result they are now at the top of the SPL standings.

Al Nassr defense last season was pretty solid, which is why they were able to win the championship, and this season Al Nassr will be even stronger, especially since they are also coached by a very experienced manager. I don't think any team can be called a favorite just because they haven't made any changes to their team. Al Nasr is a strong team, if they decide to play another season with the same team without improving their strength, it would be a mistake. Because playing with the same team in a place where other teams are working on improving their strength would be foolish. Especially last season, Al Nasr was not strong enough to win the title with the same team.

Cristiano Ronaldo is getting older, he will be 42 next season, his performance will undoubtedly deteriorate. Considering that, they should have looked for a young striker. Al Nassr didn’t make any mistakes in their home opener against AL Fateh and managed to secure 3 points with 3 goals. In my opinion, Al Nassr didn’t play poorly for a league opener and, in my view, demonstrated right from the first match that they are the favorites this season.

Al Ittihad-Jeddah failed to win at home against Al Kholood. Despite taking a 1-0 lead in the first half thanks to a goal by Nesyri—and even missing a penalty kick—Al Ittihad-Jeddah lost control of the match early in the second half after conceding a goal and being reduced to 10 men, ultimately having to settle for one point. Things could have gone even worse for them after being reduced to 10 men, so they should be happy that they at least managed a draw.

I saw rhe greatest of all time Cristiano Ronaldo and  his beautiful wife Georgina at the stand during Al-nassr opening game this evening,  this is their first public appearance after their wedding, I'm glad Ronaldo finally settled with his partner.

Al-nassr won the game with 3 goals to nil against Al-fateh ,the champions need to defend the title this season,  they have all it takes to win this league again, I believe Ronaldo will be ready for next game, I can't wait to watch my favorite footballer playing again. But you forget one important factor and that's the fact that Al nassr changed their coach and there is a lot changes that can occur when the coach has been changed. This new season, the only expectations and what an hoping to see is my idols Christaino Ronaldo reached his target 🎯 of 1000th goal.

It's gonna be hard to see them retain that title even if they have the same players and that's because their rivals Al hilal is also well structured and have equiped for the new season.
