I cannot believe Al Nassr secured three points in this match, when I saw them losing by 2-0 in the first half with one man down, I thought they could only win by miracle, I didn't know the match would end in Al Nassr favor. I'm very impressed by Al Nassr performance this was the result I expected from them before the match, because if they lose this match it will definitely affect them in the table. Al Hilal are coming up and I don't think they can afford to be soft with any team this time around, because their eyes are fully on winning the Saudi league title this season, since they haven't won it for the past 2 seasons.

In this match, when Al Nasser team started the performance with two goals behind and one player less, the rest of the players worked very hard. However, the two goals that Al Nasser team conceded were the goalkeeper's failure because one player was standing in front of the goal post as a goalkeeper. However, long hard work enabled Al Nasser team to win, but Al Ittefaq team performed quite well but at that time they could not hold themselves.
And in a moment, control was lost. At this opportunity, Al Nasser team players were able to score three goals and win, in this match, the gamblers were quite surprised because the game was only won by the lucky and strong teams

In this match against Al Ittifaq, they played really well, and it has to be said that Joao Felix made all the difference in turning the game round; even though they were down to 10 men following the goalkeeper’s red card at the start of the match, they didn’t give up and put their opponents under pressure. Cristiano Ronaldo had almost no impact in this match, which shows that the team is improving significantly.

Al Ittefaq played well and deserved to win but Al Nasser played better in the second half. After 12 minutes of the match, Al Nasser's player got a red card and it became challenging to control the match with 10 players. The determination of the attacking players and the desire to win the match won the team. The two goals that Al Ittefaq scored were the result of the weakness of the opposing team's defense. The goalkeeper should have saved two long shots but his poor performance led to the team conceding two goals. I was skeptical about the last goal scored by Al Nasser because I thought it was offside. Despite keeping the ball in their possession throughout the match, I was also surprised by Al Ittefaq defeat. It is also true that football is not just a game of strength. To win here, a team has to be lucky and clever in its tactics.

At this age, his biggest enemy is injury, if he does not suffer from that injury, then there is a big chance of touching the milestone of 1000 goals. But if somehow he goes off the field due to injury, then it may not be an easy task for him to touch this milestone. Only 23 goals are needed, he will get the opportunity to play more than 40 matches this season. Now the big question is whether he can use that opportunity? If he finds his form, 23 goals may not be a difficult task, but due to increasing age, the risk of lack of form and injury remains.

I hope with all my heart that he doesn't get hurt, also because he is still a player who is not very prone to injuries, so it would really be bad luck if it were to happen to him. If this doesn't happen, he will surely reach the threshold of a thousand goals this season, because if there is one thing that Ronaldo at 41 still knows how to do, it is to amaze.

Al-Nassr This match doesn't seem to be possible, Al-Nassr's goalkeeper unfortunately got a red card in the 12th minute of the match, later striker Ângelo Gabriel was sent off and new goalkeeper Al-Otaibi was brought on. And after that they started to concede goals, they conceded 2 goals until the end of the first half, and after that now at the beginning of the second half Cristiano Ronaldo was taken off and Al-Khaibari was brought on, I don't understand why Cristiano Ronaldo was taken off the field so quickly, maybe they gave up hope of winning the match, or I don't know what. However, Al-Nassr's chances of winning this match are very low, this was their third match, they won the previous two matches, but they might have to lose this match.

In that match, I also thought Al Nassr would lose because it would certainly be difficult to respond to Al Ettifaq's goal, especially since Al Nassr was playing with 10 men. This certainly wouldn't be easy for Al Nassr to recover. However, in reality, Al Nassr has now won against Al Ettifaq because Al Nassr didn't give up. They continued to play with enthusiasm. In the end, Al Ettifaq failed to get 3 points from Al Nassr. Many Al Ettifaq fans were certainly disappointed with the result of that match because they thought Al Ettifaq would win. But this is football, which is always full of surprises.

Now Al Ettifaq is forced to admit that Al Nassr is stronger than them and will certainly have to train harder to win in the match against Al Nassr for the second time. Currently, Al Ettifaq is ranked 6th in the standings, and of course, there is still time and opportunity for Al Ettifaq to climb the rankings.

Well, CR7 has always proven to be a complete player. In fact, if he needs to score 23 goals, CR7's morale is very high. I know that age takes its toll in many areas, skill, stamina, speed but I think he will do it. Furthermore, I believe he won't retire until he plays for Portugal with his son.

Al Nassr is just one team that could make the difference. Likewise, I think CR7 will retire playing for Sporting Lisbon, because he's always said something like that.

Let's say that the concrete possibility of seeing Cristiano Ronaldo playing for the national team together with his son would be something legendary. Something to write about in the annuals, something incredible. It would be like a passing of the baton, although i think it would put too much pressure on the boy. But i also think his father always prepared him a little bit for this. It would still be a wonderful career finale for him; i hope he succeeds in everything he wants.

It seems to me that Ronaldo will not retire until he reaches the 1000th goal in his personal career. I have not found any truth in what you said about Ronaldo's retirement from the Portuguese national team. This means that he can still play for the national team for several seasons. It would be reasonable for him to continue playing because he is still scoring goals, he is physically fit and has not had many injury problems.

He scored 28 goals in 30 matches for Al-Nassr last season and 25 goals the season before that. Considering his past statistics and his performance, he will be able to reach the 1000th goal this season.

I hope that he manages to reach the thousand goal quota he set this year. Because obviously the more time passes, the older he gets and the more his performance drops. Consequently, to have an excellent memory of this super record broken he should be able to do it this year. And in my opinion, due to Ronaldo's qualities, i am sure that he will succeed.

This will be a good decision for Ronaldo. I think a good player can be a good coach. Ronaldo is a world-class forward. He knows very well what position a player needs to be to finish as a forward. And he knows very well where to pass the ball to the midfield, what kind of tactics to use to stop a strong striker. Because he has directly encountered all those situations on the field. If he uses all these years of experience in life, he will definitely be a good coach. Ronaldo has been captain for a long time, and he leads very well on the field as we all know. He will continue in this way. I would definitely support such a decision at the end of a prominent player's career.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a true leader, as he has always been in every team he has played for. And this is perceived not because he wants to be a leader, but because others listen to him even when he doesn't speak. And this is something that is only recognized by true leaders. And i think that for this reason one day we will also find him as a coach, because it is something that calls him back.
I think that once his playing career ends he will spend some time and then return to coaching. Probably.

Al Nassr did the unthinkable in that game against Al Ettifaq. Everyone believed that Al Nassr would have to accept defeat and look into the next game. Subbing C. Ronaldo off felt like the end of the game but we later saw that this was a good move by Postecoglou to make the change he needed in the game. This is a good way of starting his job by the new boss, 3 games 9 points. Their next fixture will be against Al Taawoun and it's going to be another difficult game. But I think that their last victory in the late minutes will be a driving force to push for the next win. Al Nassr looks ready for the season and it's possible for Postecoglou to lift the league in his first season. Sadio Mane  has announced his readiness for the season and I can say that the entire forward players look fierce now.

This will be a good decision for Ronaldo. I think a good player can be a good coach. Ronaldo is a world-class forward. He knows very well what position a player needs to be to finish as a forward. Ronaldo had always proven to be a leader in his later career days. The world of football will miss the great talent if he leaves the stage. After his retirement it is going to be easier for him to break into the coaching career if he so wishes but then, he has stated in many interviews that he has a lot of plans to execute after his retirement, mentioning business and developing his brands as his key areas of concentration. He may be too busy to get back as a coach but if he wishes, he will easily get a job to do.

What an interesting football for Al Nassr, i can't believe they'll bounce back and score up to three goals after having one down Bento red card. Imagine conceding two zero in half time they where able to play ten against eleven still win the match, when man scored in 74 minutes i thought the match will end by 2-1 victory to the home team, not until a cross from corner kick with a lovely header from Amri to equalized the 2-2 and mane still scored the winning goal for Ai Nassr.

Al Nassr made one of the most best comeback in football history yesterday against Al Ettifaq, Al Nassr goalkeeper Beto got an early red card in the game and that force the coach to made a good substitute and brought another 18 years old boy as a backup goalkeeper, the boy performance is very poor and made Ronaldo furious with him, both goals score by Al Ettifaq are easy goals that can be save and the boy could not save them.

After the first half Al Ettifaq is leading two goals and the made a good substitute by taking off Ronaldo and Coman ,that substitute is very good, because Ronaldo can not run the way the coach want to win the game or get a draw, and after the substitution Al Nassr start performing well, and scored from 70 minutes and won the game, Joao Felix and Sadio Mane are very important for the club and when they are on the field, you will see a good result from them.

@KTChampions, It’s not Al Ittihad, but the team acting as the home team that Al Nassr will face is Al-Ettifaq, which, as far as I know, has never won the Saudi Pro League.
Correct me if I’m wrong.

The odds listed above—8.40, 6.00, and 1.29—are for Al-Ettifaq, a draw, and Al Nassr, respectively. It’s reasonable and expected for the bookmaker to set these odds and make Al Nassr the favorite to win the match.
But looking at the head-to-head record between Al-Ettifaq and Al Nassr, Al Nassr has lost while playing at home, and Al-Ettifaq has held Al Nassr to a draw. Both of those results occurred in 2025.

You're right, I've already started digging deeper and saw that Ittihad is playing in the third round with Al Fateh.
Oh those names Al and "itty/etti"  Cheesy I was still half-asleep when I started studying the quotes and was surprised, but I had simply mixed up the names.
By the way, Al Ettifaq has consistently finished the season in 7th place (for the last two years) and it seems that they are not so weak, but the fact is that the difference between the top clubs of the SPL and the rest is too big, the results of last season are more of a fluctuation.
But I will still wait for live odds, or if Ronaldo is in the lineup, I will place a bet before the game that he will score.

That’s something that happens to all of us. I’ve also made mistakes in my commentary before. It’s actually something to be grateful for when someone points it out so we can correct it.

The Al Ettifaq vs. Al Nassr match, which Al Nassr won, was full of exciting drama. It started when Al Nassr’s goalkeeper received a red card just 15 minutes into the game. After losing a player, Al Nassr fell behind by two goals. But that’s the kind of resilience Al Nassr showed—they managed to stage a comeback by scoring three goals.

Ronaldo already confirmed that the 2026 FIFA world cup was his last dance, but he hasn't officially announced his retirement from the national team and it's possible that he might be hungry to "create a record" of the first player to ever particular in active football with his biological son in the same national team. I don't know how that contributes to his supposed 1000 goal record but it's unlikely that he can score 23 goals before the end of this season.

He failed to win the WC, failed to seal his career with another ballon d'Or, failed to reach his own goal limits. I'm wondering how pissed his fans will be.

I don't think he is doing it because he wants to break records anyway.
I think he wants to do it for the pleasure of being able to play on the pitch with his firstborn. It would be something truly wonderful for both him and his son, an indelible memory of what he represents for football and for the many fans who have always made him passionate about this sport.
I sincerely hope so.

In the match against Al Riyad, Ronaldo came on in the 62nd minute and scored a goal in the 83rd minute, bringing his career total to 977 goals, which means he only needs 23 more goals. If you look at it, he’s just 23 goals away from reaching 1,000 career goals. I think he can make that history before retiring. Especially if you notice Ronaldo's performance lately after getting married and changing his hairstyle, his gameplay has also improved. Although he started on the bench against Al Riyad, in that match he made a lot of impressive tricks and even scored a very amazing goal. I haven’t seen him score like that in a long time. So I’m still confident he will be able to reach 1,000 goals by the end of the season, especially since Ronaldo now has full support from his teammates and coach to achieve the record he wants.

I, as usual, will give him all my full trust. Cristiano Ronaldo has never denied himself. If there's one thing everyone knows, it's that records follow him and not the other way around. Consequently, the thousand goals will be the final check on his career.
A thousand goals, like no one ever before him, with the difference that at the moment he is enjoying every minute on the pitch knowing that he doesn't have much time left to play and therefore he does it with passion and joy in being able to do it and it can be felt.

In a video, I saw Cristiano Ronaldo say that he would never become a coach but might become a club owner. it seems like he wants to be on a higher level than just being a coach. Although, actually, he’d be great as a coach because we know he’s a hard worker and already understands soccer and the various tactics he could pass on to the next generation. But it doesn’t seem like that’s the path he’ll choose.

(sourch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvY8qfnHAgY&t=3s)

In fact, it seems he wants to focus more on his family and business. perhaps he also wants to maintain his reputation in the world of soccer. After all, sometimes a soccer legend can face harsh criticism if he fails as a coach.

The only thing that i would regret if he became a coach would be to perhaps become an unprofitable coach and consequently be seen as an ordinary coach, thus diverging from his reputation as a great player.
I don't know if he will eventually become a coach or choose to buy a club, only he knows that. But regardless of everything he deserves to stay where he is.

Yes, that’s right. I personally think Al Nassr’s comeback in that match was the best. And they seemed to remain just as solid even after losing one of their players early in the first half. Postecoglou was forced to bring in their backup goalkeeper Al Otaibi to replace Angelo. But I think that decision made Al Nassr’s defense in front of the net look quite fragile. Al Otaibi was unable to stop two well-placed hard shots on goal leading to Al Nassr conceding two goals in the first half. The young Al Nassr goalkeeper seemed nervous or even stiff when reading the ball’s trajectory, where it allowed the Al Ettifaq player to score what appeared to be very easy goals. In the second half Al Nassr strengthened both their defense and even offense by benching Cristiano Ronaldo to implement a different tactical approach. And we could see that Al Nassr’s performance changed drastically after making that substitution. Joao Felix was the most influential player in Al Nassr’s victory in this match, where he was very active in setting up attacks. And Sadio Mane was also one of the players who contributed the most to Al Nassr’s victory this time. This victory brought Al Nassr’s total points to 9 for the time being. They are currently at the top of the standings. I think the Al Nassr squad has looked really great so far under Postecoglou. They’ll stay consistent hopefully in the many matches they’ll play going forward.

Cristiano Ronaldo had almost no impact in this match, which shows that the team is improving significantly.
During his 45 minutes on the field, Ronaldo managed only one shot on goal. Strangely enough, Ronaldo became emotional when he was substituted and immediately headed to the locker room. It’s truly unfortunate to see the behavior Ronaldo displayed in this match. He shouldn’t have acted that way, as it doesn’t set a good example. I couldn’t help but wonder if Ronaldo had become a liability to the team, prompting the coach to boldly substitute him. Especially since, after Ronaldo was taken out, Al Nassr actually managed to stage a comeback against Al Ettifaq.

I watched the match between Al Ettifaq and Al Nassr yesterday.
Watching games in this league reminds me of the years I used to play on artificial turf pitches—the simplicity of the goals scored, the errors made, and so on. The quality of the matches is on par with the games I used to play on those turf pitches. Fans in this league need to learn how to be football fans; right now, many of them watch matches as if they were at the theater. There is virtually no chanting or cheering during the games.
As for the match itself:
Al Ettifaq finished the first half leading 2–0. Al Nassr had to finish the game with ten men after their goalkeeper was shown a red card, yet they managed to win 3–2 thanks to three goals scored in the second half.
It was an exciting match, but unfortunately, the actual quality of the football was lacking.

Those guys are not football orientated, it's just something that's been introduced to them few years ago and they are only trying to catch up. Qatar spent over $200 billion just to bring the spot light to them, so I can't totally blame them. Most times when you watch their games you will hardly see the stadium even half full, the numbers they pull up in their big matches, is exactly the numbers you get in England regional league games.
It was a hard fight from Al Nassr coming from 2 goals down and a man down to winning 2 - 3 is actually something good, they have started the season well and are on the right track to defend their title.

In my opinion, he can't detach himself from football. Because he's a footballer who was born and raised with football. He became a symbol of hard work and determination in football. That's why I think he can continue his struggle and take his place as a coach, first in Saudi Arabia and then in Europe. Of course, there's no guarantee that good players will become good coaches. We see that. However, Ronaldo's tactical explanations are already something we can see in the game for Al Nassr. He's trying to guide the players and put them in positions. Now that he's in his final years, he's about to embark on a life transitioning from playing to coaching.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a living legend of football and this sport, both as a footballer and as an athlete, and as a sporting symbol. Who knows if one day he will decide to become a coach, but i think so, given his strong connection with this sport.
I think he will remain attached and could be as a coach.

Maybe Cristiano Ronaldo's post-retirement career will be as a coach but I will think about that later. You have to let him reach the 1000 goal mark first. I can't accept the fact that he didn't score in the last match against Al-Ettifaq. I expected him to score in almost every match and reach that important target this season.
He will be the first legendary player in the world to reach 1000 goals as a personal achievement. There will be many doors open for CR7 in the future and he will decide at the right time whether he should be a coach or something else.
