Congratulations to Igebotz formally known as igehhh.

 I saw the name igehhh yesterday night from the [CHARTS] Monthly Overview Of The official Nigeria Local Board📈 New Poll and I was trying to locate the name to see the monthly up this morning. But surprisely I couldn't see the name again so I have to check Nigeria board to see if the thread has been moved to the local board but I didn't see it as well. There I checked a comment that made Igehhh to see if the user was removed from the forum but to my surprise the name has been changed to Igebotz.
Igebotz congratulations to new name. theymos thank you for responding to request faster these days.

Pakistan local board is also needed, their contributions to the forum and bitcoin is great.

Wow!  This is great and interesting news and this shows that the T-man is really working and hopefully he will also grant all the request of members that are core contributor to the growth of the forum.
  Just recently we have seen major activeness from theymos in the forum
, Changing of pharmacist to sceptical chemist
,Granting Nigerians their own formal local board,
 And now he started giving users their New Year presents@igehhg to igebotz.
  Igebotz was a key figure in making sure Nigerians got their local and has contributed vastly in the development of the forum so i think he deserves the new year present. Congratulations to igebotz and others soon to receive their own gifts from theymos.

Honestly I don't understand why change of name need to be congratulated except from the user who change the name. I mean what's the reason for them to change name? of course to make people don't know what's their old username, maybe the username has something personal or could make him in trouble.

I appreciate the heads up, without it, my Trust list viewer update would fail. Theymos' data dump contains usernames instead of userIDs, and I can't really search them that way.

You could say that actually but we dont know the reason why the user request to change name. Also there are only few given the rights by theymos to change their names and also depends on their reason. If this was easy then a lot has been granted that already.

Well, this is not the first time it happen where a user requested to change the username for private reason. Everyone can request to theymos to change their usernames even me can request but the challenge as I say about it is that, will the admin granted your request?. What cryptoaddictchie said is true and during my time in Bitcointalk forum is I never heard or know that many people requested or ask to change their name. As I have posted before in other thread that I think only the name is changed and the username is the same. Correct me guys if I am wrong about it. Why I think that way is because when you go to settings is you can see username and name.

Some name changes where the user requested based on sentimental reasons and which lingers before it is approved could call for some sort of congratulations.

Theymos' data dump contains usernames instead of userIDs, and I can't really search them that way.

How effective would a list of all name changes be? Of course, not those where privacy would be a concern and the user would not want their previous display name linked to their new one.

Actually this doesn't required to be congratulated of, since it was just for his brand purpose and i so much like the change maybe anyone dealing with him will have to be very mindful and should check out his details correctly otherwise scammer would still use old username to scam people.

A user has his personal reason why its user name should be change by Theymos,and I will say it is good to congratulate the person whose request has been granted by Theymos,this means you are recognized by you effort and contributions in your participation in the forum.

To change your name is not an easy thing to be done in the forum because you have to pass through the admin and your request can be ignored which shows that your name might not be changed.

But after long term process and suddenly change the username and I don't think have priority and make special thing when user name have been changed.

I worry later will having many board or topic request for their name change due after looking several user success change their username, I can't imagine next time when looking many board or topic request for changing their username.

Differenr reason for everyone that has been granted to change name. Most are personal reasons, and I think its hard to discern or disclosed those of. We can say that theymos only granted those who have valid reason and explanation. Also some who are contributed big here in forum maybe.

nakamura12 You are correct, and just to clarify, I still own the naming rights to the username "igehhh," and it will never be used by another user; Igebotz is merely a placeholder name, whereas Igehhh remains my surname. Don't worry, both are under my ownership. These are the few advantages that established members enjoy
