Hello all,

I would like to know if some of you are making P2P trading ? and if yes if you know some banks to do the P2P trading. IT appears that most of them would block you after you receive too much monney transfer from unknown person on your bank account.

Is there any community to speak about it on this forum ?

Have you looked into Wise? (if you're a resident in a supported country):

You can receive money to your Wise account from a platform that deals with cryptocurrencies — as long as the platform is regulated and/or supervised in the EU or UK.

I'm not entirely sure if trading on a regulated platform like Binance P2P would fall under this category or not since you'll be dealing with other individuals and not Binance itself, but If I would guess it's fine. If you decide to go this route, you should make sure to only accept money from users whose names match in both Wise and Binance, , otherwise, it would be difficult for you to later on prove that the funds are coming from Binance.

First off, you haven't told us your location, so it's hard to suggest to you a proper bank

Some time back, my bank blocked my account due to p2p trading and I realized they tracked my account through the so many small transactions I would make clusters in given days and just a couple of hours. These days I only make one big transaction and then wait for 3 or 4 weeks before doing another one again. My account hasn't been blocked for 6 months so far.

Consider asking your local crypto community (if they're active that is):

bitcointalk local boards: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php#5
subreddits: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/wiki/local_communities/

Ultimately, i think huge amounts are bound to get noticed by your bank regardless of whether it's crypto related or not, I'd consider using more than one.

Based on my experience using P2P trading on Binance exchange market depending with your local bank have support and available in Binance, in my country for trading in P2P supported with several local bank and have option received or sending payment in P2P trading trough electronic digital currency wallet.

If you interested for using P2P trading in Binance have the same name between your account exchange and name in your bank account, you can't use your family bank account if want to make P2P trading transaction in Binance. I don't know details and rule with other exchange market like OKX, Kucoin and Houbi are supported with P2P trading.

The limits varies from country to country. If you are from any country where Bitcoins are illegal, then it will be too hard for you to cash your hard earned Bitcoins. If your country is not so strict about cryptos, then sell your coins to multiple sellers and do multiple transactions in low amount. That’s the ideal way to cash out Bitcoins through P2P trades. Also if you want to cash out big amount of money, then only Cash Transaction is possible, and yes remember one thing, while doing such trades, be careful when you go to meet the person.

You're already on the right community to discuss this but the details you're bringing ain't enough so tell where you're currently residing or just research your local which banks will allow you to do that.

If the money you're bringing in to your bank account is a lot, there will certainly be questions about the source of it and that's where your worry is going but you can ask this personally to your bank.

Anyway, is this all about bitcoin-fiat trading or just bank-bank transactions?

Not all are scammers. Where is your place mate? If you arent have much close person to deal off then use some third party trusted p2p site like Binance id they did supported your country. They offer as mediator or escrow for the transaction and make sure youll get your money or else theyll hold the seller tokens as collateral if they plan to scam someone.

Why not check your local banks if they support receiving money from Crypto buyers?
Here in my country most of the banks support it but are limited to 0.05-0.1BTC in local currency.

Sorry i did not give any information, i was used to make P2P trading with Binance, Bybit and Kucoin selling USDT against EUR. With SEPA transfer and Internal transfer of such neo banks. I live in France. And it appears that local banks are refusing to give me an account for this due to the regulation against the fight of the laundering of monney, at the moment you say "Crypto" they tell you "thank you but no thank you". Then i tried neo banks which was good at the beginning but really fast my volume of internal transfer (revolut to revolut, wise to wise) and the monney i was transfering to Kraken was too high (>250k€ per week) and they blocked my account.

Now the only solution i see is to sell Crypto for other crypto in such localbitcoin or localmonero but on these ones u need to have a good reputation to have buyers..

How do you do guys to make it possible to do it without getting blocked everywhere ?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean here. How is exchanging your crypto for crypto a solution to the problem you're having with banks?

I could be wrong here but isn't BNP Paribas a crypto-friendly bank? Either way though, if you're going to trade with large amounts, you should expect the bank to ask you questions.

It is for me a solution because by making Crypto to Crypto transaction i will not use bank anymore for P2P trading. And actually i have absolutely no problem for answering questions and give any proof of source of funds or anything that could help to rassure the bank, they just don't want to deal with me at the minute i speak about crypto.

P2p is not really something to do with bank rather if the exchange you are using do list your bank to among their service could be more easier and or if you want to run a p2p services you don't need to use just a single bank account rather having about 3 banks to receive or send out money to avoid much suspicious activities from your bank. If it happens that you don't want to use exchanger, you only wanting to use a reputable member from this forum, you could bargain with him so you could provide different account to receive and send payments.
Actually you need a "Current" bank account to carry out huge trade instead of using a "Savings" account although I believe those that from part of my country may understand this more better, btw I don't know of your country.

I'm not sure what your problem is or how your bank issue is connect to P2P. I have been using p2p service with Binance for quite sometime now and even though most bank in my country doesn't support crypto related transactions I'm still able to do my p2p.

All you have to do while transacting is to avoid the inclusion of anything related to "crypto" in the description of the transaction. If you check most ads on Binance p2p you'll see that those transacting in a country that doesn't support crypto will add in their terms Do not use any word related to crypto while making your payment. that way your bank won't know if it's crypto related or not.

If the Bank at your country are this much concerned about the amount of money transaction than one thing is sure that your country is not crypto friendly. For you it will be best to ask the same question in a local board of your region. By the way in P2P the funds in the end land into your bank account.

The best solution here is to ask their local community if P2P works perfectly since it will be a bank to bank transaction and not crypto to bank. In my country some banks are friendly and some are not so better to double check this one before making any transaction to avoid any inconvenience. P2P seems to be one of the best way to buy and sell crypto, just understand the process and you’ll be fine.

^ How about the local e-wallet before sending your money to the bank?
I have done this before when I really don't know if my bank supported that P2P platform but instead I choose my e-wallet which is fully KYC and my e-wallet supported by the bank. I did not directly send my fund to the bank, it is a P2P exchange > e-wallet > bank transfer.
However, I read that Binance has a p2p trading which is I think very simple to use connected to your local bank account but make sure you have aware of your bank terms. Otherwise, P2 decentralized platforms are the best for you, Hodl-hodl.

I don't know of any banks that do p2p transactions. Perhaps in El-salvador maybe else, non in the world.

Banks don't do p2p at least to the best of my knowledge, individuals do p2p. p2p (peer 2 peer) translates to person to person and now, the bank is not a person is it.
You can get p2p services on exchanges where you would have individuals willing to either buy coins or sell coins by transferring the fiat equivalent through previously advertised banks.

Savings bank accounts have limitations. For big transactions you can have a business account . Based on the location of the bank (country) and the terms we'll be able to see different volumes to be transacted. The process of p2p trading will be the same with majority of the trading service providers. You find a trader,  open the trade, make the transaction and the volume of cryptocurrency for the amount transacted will be sent to the respective account's wallet.

Hello all,

I would like to know if some of you are making P2P trading ? and if yes if you know some banks to do the P2P trading. IT appears that most of them would block you after you receive too much monney transfer from unknown person on your bank account.

Is there any community to speak about it on this forum ?

thank you all
It depends on your country and what kind of bank account do you have irrespective of bank name because each bank has to follow the rules of regulations of their respective central bank.

But as a p2p trader, I can tell you why most of the bank accounts suspended after p2p trading is you traded with a scammer who hacked a random bank account and used to buy crypto assets with you so later victim report it to the bank the money transferred from victims to others may be locked until you give further explanation.
