Bitcoin is the only thing that interested me in using this forum. I mean, this is how bitcoin proves itself better than thousands of other altcoin. I know forums because of bitcoin, I know the crypto industry because of bitcoin, and bitcoin is a currency that has a very amazing technology. The popularity of bitcoin is still very limited to certain layers of society in a country, this is influenced by many things including how these people get information from the media or from person to person. Bitcoin will get more and more popular if the government talks about it often enough, and of course its legality is still a difficult thing to achieve especially regarding its use cases of legal tender.

Bitcoin was not the first crypto to be developed, but today, it remains ahead of other crypto in the crypto space, and this is because of its true nature of decentralization. If Bitcoin were to be centralized, I think it would have been brought down by now, but Bitcoin will trend more than other crypto because they are centralized, and we see things happening to some CEX these days, FTX for example.

I wouldn't say Bitcoin has a trend over something, but I guess one could say that Bitcoin sets the trend for the whole market of top altcoins. So when it goes up, they usually to the same, and when it goes down, they go down as well. Of course, it's not always the case, especially not immediately, but having such a huge share of the market capitalization does mean having a major impact.
Now might not be the best time to buy, but it's still a very good time, as bitcoin is more than 3x below the ATH point and who knows, maybe the bear market is near its end after all.

Bitcoin ban will not be removed too soon, but the number of people involving in bitcoin is huge now. Many people adopted bitcoin, look at the number of people daily post about bitcoin adoption on this forum only. New members are joining this forum to learn more about bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
No matter what government does to stop bitcoin the countries that already banned bitcoin have less chance of stopping spreading and stopping adopting bitcoin.

Bitcoin is obviously the barometer of the market and this thing really sucks as well. You obviously don't want all your portfolio to be red when just one coins in which you haven't even invested goes red. But this is the truth of crypto market it's too much dependent on bitcoin. The dominance level is so high that it decides the direction of the market always. Even bull run and bear runs are classified on basis of its price only.

It is, it's definitely bitcoins world that all other coins live in, and bitcoin is the one that makes and breaks everything. There is no way that without bitcoin, any of this would stay up. I do not know what to call it, like future of money is not just the thing though, sure it's a type of money but at the same time it's type of investment at the same time and an asset.

So I wouldn't really just call it money, it's basically the future of barter. You know how people would barter back in the day, and then we started to use money instead? Well, it's like that, but the newer version basically, it's literally everything you could ever dream about on finance, and better.

Yes. Currently Bitcoin price starts to increase. Even a quick pump from $18k to $21k. It's a quick change in my opinion after prices stalled at $18k in the last few months. However, in my opinion, this is only a small pump, not yet entering the bull run phase. It is possible that Bitcoin price can reach $25k before next April.

We can take advantage of this for short-term investing, after which we can sell, and wait for the bear market. My guess is, after April, it will re-enter the bear market.

Investment requires personal knowledge on what you wish to purchase, Bitcoin is an awesome investment options in my opinion and a good buy, but do not take my word for it, or that of anyone for that matter as some can market it to you without fully understanding how it works and the risks involved.

Prices now are at its lowest point it has been for over a year now. The peak for 2022 was about $47k and the bottom was around $15,700. This makes right now precisely one of the best times to buy.

Right. This was a small pump before the arrival of the big pump in the bitcoin market. It looks like this bitcoin trend will continue into next year, where there will probably be a lot of people who will still invest in bitcoin because they have a high potential for a high price increase in bitcoin. We can use Bitcoin as a short term and long term investment, especially when we bought bitcoin for under $20k yesterday and wanted to sell it for $25k. But we have to remember that bitcoin can go anywhere.
