Whatsminer M20 and M30 series is very reliable.
Antminer S19 and S9 are quite reliable but stay away from S17 series.

Antminer is good and very reliable. If you buy a new one you should find a good seller that offers warranty anyway, since this is your best option to be completely safe.

OP, you should have a look one the Hardware section of this Mining forum. You will find all the answers you are looking for, but as the others said, IMO to find a good seller is at least as important as the brand of your ASIC

Canaan units are cheap and both your units that you mention are stable the only problem is that their units are power-hungry.
But if you have a cheap electricity rate Canaan units is a good choice than Antminer units.
