I was confused about cold card, coldkey and keepkey but it's all clear to me now.

Were yogg hacked by someone or yogg is really scammer?
Before, I knew him that he's like a reputable guy and didn't scammed anybody but this is happened all of a sudden.

Otherwise, you should force yourself to learn on how to protect your bitcoin because that’s the only way you’ll never be scammed and never end up losing.
The thing here is that when the victims have trusted the source himself. They've never thought that yogg will go sideways but with all of the proofs, it seems that he did.

Were yogg hacked by someone or yogg is really scammer?

Unfortunately, my personal suspicion would be towards him if I realized that he was someone who at least understood the rules for securing keys more than the average forum user, a hacking scenario seemed impossible. Seeing how to transfer by sweeping, most likely he did (had planned) to collect private keys in one place which I think should not be done.

This space for rent.

Were yogg hacked by someone or yogg is really scammer?

Here's a summary of the whole story;

Long story short:

- yogg is the manager of Cold Key cards project
- after a period of depression, when he did not have motivation anymore to continue the project and stalled customers' (already paid) orders he decides to resume his work though
- at some point he realizes that he kept a back-up of private keys for an entire series of cards
- for unknown reasons (some saying he is addicted to gambling) he decides to cash-out all the BTC stored on those cards (the cards were in the possession of their owners)
- someone realizes that his card was emptied and runs a topic in Reputation board: My Cold Keys Just Got Swiped! All Halving Sets!!
- yogg admits his unthinkable gesture
- according to krogoth, yogg stole 0.00625 BTC from each card, total prejudice being around 50.000$
- end of story.

That's not 100% right - He stole about 2btc when including https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5434506.msg61585341#msg61585341.

He's a gambling degen, had multiple loans (unknown to many) open that he defaulted on, and destroyed 100% of the project and the trust in the collectibles community... Huh

He tossed his life away for 2BTC and lost it all gambling. He's broke and hiding out waiting for authorities probably. Tongue
