I've just sent in my official picture proof. Cygan has offered to refund me yesterday and I would like it to be known that I've refused. Whilst I appreciate the gesture, I do not want his money. I'll gladly take the hit if the money doesn't come from Yogg's pockets.

Agree with Mitchell... I've missed out on the gold halving card and bc of a not complete collection I have sold them all a while back, if I had my coldkeys and they would have been swept as well.... I would never take money of someone who isn't wrong ....

Also I have been offered money for some occasions in the passed though I always refused in situations where someone wanting to pay while its nothing to do with them...

Very kind gesture from cygan but not in need to do this.

i can't just take credit for being part of Coldkey and be happy about any/alleged profits i also have to be there for the customers in times like these
and my decision is this, that i will make these refunds out of my own pocket
i am just a very positive person and think/believe that this will pay off/be appreciated someday...

You are a good man, cygan and are doing great initiative to refund victims.

It is good for your reputation and Coldkey but something is damaged can not be restored completely. This accident is not your fault but it is marked in history of BTC related collectible products and companies, not only Coldkey.

In addition, even you refund victims, the values for their items are no longer as same as before the accident. Imagine, the value of BTC stolen in each item is small but maybe previous value of the item was higher than BTC stolen by yogg (?)

Maybe Bitcoin developers must think of it, because collectible items are one of Bitcoin use cases. They should develop something to make it safer.

Anyone has idea, can join the discussion Change co-signers for Bitcoin multisig wallets, can it be developed?. I think if we can come to a solution that is possibly to develop, it would be good for Bitcoin generally and Collectible industry in particular.

Indeed there is damage in its belief… now people will always think with items like coldkey that funds can be stolen and what if ?? When pockets are not deep enough and a good person can’t refund all stolen funds, then the hart may be as good as it want but if one can not refund….

There is just a damage left here which will not go away

Understand people will think what if when a company sells more as 10-100x the volume of the coldkeys which where sold as now…. Then people will be much more afraid the creator might steal again bc the value is life changing…

I think it is quite generous to offer refunds to those affected. Not sure if just paying out of Cygans own pocket is the right approach though - a little torn on this but didn't feel right for me to take that money.
He offered to also refund the unfunded coldkey I had (it should have been funded but I never noticed since two days ago). So kudos to that!

The main focus should be on trying to bring Yogg to return funds or get him to create a plan to make at least stolen AND unfunded card funds whole. Wouldn't the first step would be to talk/visit/dunno him and get a full picture of what he still has access to? Finding out which funds are truely LOST IN GAMBLING or maybe still sitting in some wallets to be returned to those that are the actual rightful owners of them?
That's what I think of when I hear of the position of (former) CEO. A tedious and maybe hopeless task, but it should be tried at least. Just my 50 sats. It's a difficult topic for sure.

Yogg isn’t going to make this right unless forced to do so by law enforcement, courts, asset seizure etc.

Mopar mentioned in another thread that Yogg swiped someone’s copper halving set after he had been confronted & stated all other keys were safe. 

He’s a liar, thief & total shitbag.  And the likelihood he has all private keys copied is very high.  I don’t believe this stops with the raffle funds & halving sets.

As I did not lose funds and was able to peel mine and recover all of the btc. I just wanted to come and say that this is so generous of you Cygan. I commend you for standing by it all and doing your best to make people whole. We have all lost a great deal of money whether you had 1 card or 200. Its bullshit.... But you definitely earned my respect today. I just hope one day that these funds come from yogg at some point.
