If the Icarus folks are up for making a special edition wallet for the victims & donators using some of the funds raised...

If Lucho would be willing to make some art for the card/wallet or possibly just edit the original halving set art to show maybe a ColdSweep getting torn in half (halving haha)

In a way, Lucho is the face of the scam though he wasn't responsible.  And Icarus is basically the rebirth of ColdSweep but without the rug pulls.  Seems fitting.

Each victim & each donator for the charity auction would receive a wallet & the funds left over would be equally distributed to each wallet.

Everyone gets a cool collectible, some bitcoin funding & could possibly make some people whole in a couple years if the wallets are cool & go up in value.

If you chose to not peel the cards after Yoda kindly gave us all notice of being swept then that to me is on you and shouldn’t be reimbursed. We all knew the halvings were compromised, if you left them funded and they are now swept - then you bet on red and the ball landed on black. I peeled all history sets on principle, cuz fuck Yogg - zero chance I’d leave halvings intact.  It’s not like he swept them the next day - but a month later.

Besides that - I have no opinion. Run a raffle with 1 spot per coldkey owned and multiple pay outs,, donate it to a good cause, or whatever, but Yoda gave us all notice to peel and if you knew about it and chose not to - well that’s negligence.

Hookz, you got your silvers swiped in rug pull #1 but didn’t you have your golds in hand & choose to leave them funded before rug pull #2 in February?

And I disagree that people who redeemed their ColdSweeps so Yogg didn’t have more booger shooger $ aren’t entitled to something from the charity auctions.

Do the math, there are not even enough auction funds to cover the yogged wallets 🤔 let alone anything more.
And no, if you see my previous post I unfortunately had no physical access to my collection until recently when I got them to help make the lists of directly affected wallets for the victim auctions and realized he had swept another batch of cards in February. Obviously peeling at that point would have been pointless

I like this idea . Luckily I didnt lose funds to yogg. But I did peel my copper halving and I think 8 or 9 other cold keys that were purchased on the secondary and I paid some high premiums. So I kind of like the idea of a raffle with how many cards held earns a spot for each. IDK, Just such a shitty situation. Im cool with whatever everyone decides.

Nice, that's a good idea. I didn't have clear ones. I do have 12mm size though  . Let me know your grade. I doubt mine will grade high due to all the dings on it, but its still a cool rare piece with a story.

all victims have contacted me (after i created this thread: [INFO] Scammed/Peeled by Coldkey) and have been reimbursed by me (for the amount loaded on their cards).
my suggestion would be that you should first refund the users who did not accept my offer of refund (because they wanted the money from yogg and not from me)

i wanted to emphasize this topic again (and hopefully for the last time), because unfortunately nothing is happening in this regard...
my suggestion was and is that the following users should be compensated first:

chronicsky - 0.055BTC
Mitchell - 0.0125BTC

i would also be very happy if my costs, which were incurred by the whole refundig, were also paid - and that was already a considerable sum...

Nothing is happening because the affected users cannot reach a consensus on what to do with the funds.
Those two collectors could be paid back and then we would have outstanding debt of funds paid out by you and the loans that were taken.
Maybe since it would be you and only 2 or 3 others, you could make an agreement with them on how to pro-rate the funds so that it is fair for each person

ofc you also should be reimbursed. if the funds are insufficient to compensate everybody, then the fairest solution would be an allocation pro rata.

that sounds good. i would even waive a certain amount so that there is something left of the 0.4003BTC mentioned. you never know when new victims will show up here and the future will show whether anyone will actually come forward.
but most of the users (44 cards from 19 victims) have already been compensated by me

curious - not an objection - but curious, why those two individuals over the rest? and what is being refunded/paid to the victims? the amounts lost from being swept by yogg? If so, did everyone else accept funds from you except these two?

I was fortunate in that I only lost funds from one card. My loss stems from the loan, amount paid for 25 cards never delivered and the value paid for the cards on the secondary market.

I have not been reimbursed for the funding I lost (it was one of the timelocks) but that was not identified until much later as he swept it much after all of this happened.

I declined the money before, since I did not want to paid out of cygan's pocket. That felt (and still feels) unfair, which is why I am willing to accept it if those funds are from the auctions.

ok that makes sense - in your prior post you said the two contacted you and that you did pay them - I am now believing that was a typo and that you meant you did not reimburse them (ultimately as chronicsky repaid it)
