It's an excellent point that people who are struggling hard are smarter than those who are begging for the loan and scammers. The fine line between them is whether they are willing to work hard as diligently as they can. We all know that all bankers lend money for profit and they don't accept any excueses if you can't pay off the loans. Sometimes they know many borrowers are not able to pay back but still they'll lend the money. Why ? Becasue for them, their job is to lend and it is other people's job to collect money and interest. If you can not pay back, that is your problem. Does this sound like a scam ? If it does, then we are living in a world full of scams and people who are working hard to make ends meet and even look for side jobs are decent and respectful.

I value people who earn money through hard work rather than those who scam people and get the money to spend on their luxuries.
There is no excuse why people scam. Some people believe they scam because they are poor - I think they are scammer that is why they are poor.

I agree, people who started from nothing is the people I respect a lot. I've seen a lot of people who got financially stable due to having a part time job. Focusing on having an income than finding a illegal money sources like scamming which really makes them poorer. Imagine you have to depend on scamming people for your needs what if one day you can't even scam 1 person for a week? Unlike part timing which they pay you and some of them respect your availability especially if you are a student. nowadays, the challenge is for the mankind to survive in various crises they are facing with. pandemic, inflation, food shortage, etc. they are all the current bottlenecks to survive. if you are not up to this challenge, you would easily find yourself in deep trouble, deep debt or having anxiety or you're struggling the depression brought by the hard life.

It depends on the nature of primary job that you have. For the people here in a third world country, most of us here works for a minimum of 8 hrs 6 days a week, making it almost no time to perform a side hustle after your shift from your primary work ends for the day. I knew some people have the will to do 2 jobs every day, but I didn't see any significant changes in their financial status. Low paying jobs and continued high inflations are actually depriving people from the lower category to have their time for their family and for themselves, because working 8 hrs a day may not always going to be enough to feed his family.
Finding a 2nd job may not be necessary if you knew how to upskill and equip yourself from all the jobs that is in-demand over the internet today.

Anyone with only one source of income or depending on only one source of income for survival is making a huge mistake regardless of how huge their salary in their current job. Side business no matter how small it is, hence it generates income on a daily basis is better than having just one source. I had a friend  who was working in telecommunication company, he had no other business aside from his work, he has three kids. Something happened in his work place and he was sacked, gradually he began to spend his little savings to a point where he had nothing and it was hard for him to get another job. He sold most of his properties just to survive. In conclusion, if he had a small business aside his work, he wont have go so broke. So i learnt from his mistake and today I have a little business aside from what I do.
So side business equals financial stability.

A side job/business can certainly increase income, apart from working I also market the houses around me, this is because many houses are being sold and it is a good opportunity to increase earnings, and since 2023 I have sold 3 units of houses and if the sum of the commissions that I get is equivalent to a year's salary that I receive.

That is a very reasonable commission for you to receive, because selling a house is not an easy job and not just anyone wants to buy a house unless the price is really cheap. Successfully marketing three housing units this year, which generally hasn't been running for too long, is a very extraordinary thing, especially if the commission can be equivalent to your salary for a year of work.

I think it's a very decent side job for you to run by taking advantage of the conditions in your own neighborhood where you say there are lots of houses for sale. That's true. Another source of income is indeed a blessing but there is always a balance between work and rest/life. I have also seen many people from my parents' generation who maximized every minute to do any jobs they got but as they grew old, their bodies just could not bear all the sufferings and collapsed. Physical and mental stress must be considered whenever considering a side job. I know it is hard to find that balance but we must do it if we want to live a better life in the long term.

If you are doing a side job with existing job then defiantly it will take your time and energy that is meant for your family and for yourself.
