That person can spend his free time to get rest and be more productive at full-time job, or he can spend time doing side job. What will you prefer in that case? It's a very good discussion going on here, although many people in a country where the economy is good and people are enjoying themselves might not feel it so much. While those in developing or poor countries will understand better the reason why they need multiple income streams. Indirectly this says that sometimes everyone has their own way of thinking and of course this depends on will of course and there is nothing wrong with that, when we really want more then there really is something to be paid for like when we really want additional income then indirectly we have to sacrifice the leisure time that we have. on the other hand, if we really have had enough and want peace, then we really don't need to take risks for part time because their time will obviously be wasted and they won't be able to relax again because there is responsibility with their side job.

Everything comes back to intention, but for me personally I prefer to take advantage of all conditions, at least this is a form of survival for me to support my current life or for future plans.

Well if you don't make enough with your first income you take take many different routes.  First and foremost just what you recommended.  Either work more if you can at your current job or take on a second one.  Second is important and nobody ever really looks at this as a favorable one, live to your means.  Downsize if you have to.  Don't eat out, don't go out as much, etc.  Third you can always look into splitting your costs like getting a roommate, etc.

Even if you do only have one job but if you are really that minding about saving up some allocations for emergency funds or investment then this is something that would really be that helpful on  the time that you do need it.

Currently, the job market is very competitive due to the high unemployment rate in the country. and since more than 100 people apply for a job post, the salary of the job is also kept very low.
