Bitcoin touches lives, there are many that did not know they could own their cars and houses at the time they possessed them because of Bitcoin. We can't neglect this fact and many more as Bitcoin has helped create many jobs in so many facets of the economy. Yes, Bitcoin has been helping me financially since I discovered it. And when I conclude how it has advanced along the years I really don't know how I could have earned what I earned without Bitcoin in my life. If I relied on fiat, I wouldn't have made 5% of what Bitcoin proportinated me. But you have to be careful. Since Bitcoin is a very valuable currency and asset, it will lure attention from scammers from every kinds. For sure, I have seen many threads in the past here on how bitcoin helps them financially, they become stable and have the financial freedom to buy things that they want for them or for their families, so that is good. And probably it will inject some of that in the economy too, and that's the beauty of having an extra money because you have the purchasing power. But not all have succeeded though, investment or to make money here is not that easy as it sounds. It's not an easy or get rich scheme. You really need to have a lot of patience and you a strong mentality and be intelligent when to buy and when to sell to enjoy your profits and then make them sustainable in your end.

I think the main point is that you can just simply save money in Bitcoin, you don't need to invest it in anything really.

This is possible because the rest of the world is going digital and not because of the invention of Bitcoin alone, Bitcoin isn't the only assets that can be bought by the physically impaired victims, any assets that can be traded digitally like stocks can be brought too. I totally agree with your opinion about how our decisions determine our profit or loss in investing in Bitcoin.
Everything the OP said was essentially in line with what you said about the decisions we made.
It's true, Bitcoin can improve our economy if we make the right decisions.
However, if we make bad decisions, it might even cost us.
It all depends on how the decisions we make and implement will have an impact on helping our economy or worsening our economy.
I think a right decision is of course made based on many factors, whether it's from good knowledge, our self-control and from our experience.
