only i find it disrespecting for human? what a stupid sport to do.  i dont find it cool in any way shape or form. definitely not  a  good things that happens for the sport.

and ufc promotes it. what a shame.

I never heard of Powerslap as a sport, but I now know what it is, I absolutely think it is repulsing. Slapping each and let this be a paid professional sport? Slapping someone who cannot even defend themselves, that is just giving a concussion.

There will be seriously injured people from this new sport. Definitely I can give it time until someone suffers a major brain injury. I am sickened that people would actually watch and why is this even legal in a country like the US.

I don't think the sport will last long because competitors will eventually develop a technique to knock-out their opponents in the first hit. You don't have to hit someone with a fist to knock them out.

I am also for classical sports. Where you need years of training and there is etiquette and authority. I practiced karate myself as a child, I even have several belts)

Just watched a clip of the so called sport and mehn you need to see how someone slapped smoke out of someone's head. Not only did smoke come out of his head, but dude fell down straight up. I just imagine what damage he might have suffered all in the name of sport.

There’s no defence play involved, it’s just so dangerous. I’ve seen a few highlights lately & somebody is going to get seriously injured. I’m very surprised to see Dana White involved in something like this, I suppose he is the money man though & he will go where the money is.

I really hope this sport is stopped soon, before there is a life changing brain injury.

Slapping each other as a sport may be seen as disrespectful and is certainly not a productive way to stay in shape. It is much better to use activities like Brazilian jiu-jitsu and boxing to improve physical fitness and refine skills.

I also believe that such a sport does not belong to sports, it teaches disrespect for each other. Sport is where people compete and train a lot.
