1. MAJOR BITCOIN UPGRADE

First, do not use the word 'accelerate' because on this forum, it means a different thing from bump fee or increase fee by double spending or replace-by-fee. This are the common terms used as what Unstoppable wallet meant as 'speed up'. Or you could have just use 'speed up'.

Second, there are other updates about bitcoin that you skipped but which is what that is most important to us. You can now use coin control on Unstoppable wallet. Users can preview previously used addresses for incoming bitcoin payments. Also we can add memo now for incoming bitcoin payments.

Bitcoin wallets within Unstoppable received substantial enhancements:

users are now able to speed up / cancel pending Bitcoin transactions.

advanced and/or privacy-conscious users have the ability to control which Bitcoin UTXOs are used for transactions.

users are now able to view previously used addresses for incoming Bitcoin payments.

finally, there is an option to add public on-chain notes (memos) to outgoing Bitcoin payments.

The abovementioned improvements also apply to other Bitcoin-like blockchains i.e. Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.

But it is nice that you brought this.

Thank you for warning me. My use of the word 'accelerate' is not appropriate here. I should have used the words 'speed up' as written in highlight version 0.38.0.

So true. I did not include these points and only informed one point which I quoted regarding 'users are now able to speed up / cancel pending Bitcoin transactions', as initial information which can then be seen for themselves by users who read it.

The 3 points consisting of coin control, 'users are now able to view previously used addresses for incoming Bitcoin payments', and the addition of memos to outgoing Bitcoin payments which are updated in this latest version are very important.

There have been two new releases after the release of version 0.38.1 [Pre-release]. Even though it is only a small update in two versions [0.38.2 and 0.38.3] it is useful for users because the developer focuses on existing issues.

However, i understand you are trying to keep track of what they are building inside and let everyone know.

I'm just happy with the development efforts being made.

I see they made some improvements, especially since 0.38 was released few weeks ago, they finally added coin control, and their app now works much better for me:

I see they made some improvements, especially since 0.38 was released few weeks ago, they finally added coin control, and their app now works much better for me:

The last three updates were of minor improvement. The main update that coin control was added has been discussed here. You can scroll up a little to see it immediately. It was version 0.38.0.

About the wallet working better, especially for bitcoin synchronization, the update was last year. That was on version 0.37 that was released on the 28th December of last year.

It would be nice if they could release desktop wallet in future.

Unstoppable wallet is becoming one of the best bitcoin wallets. It is having the necessary features that those bitcoin wallets are having. What I will like the wallet developers to add is lightning network. It is not necessary but I will like to see that. Desktop versions like Linux, Windows and macOS will be good, but this will require more work from the developers. It can even be used on airgapped devices which will make desktop to be very good, but this may not be easy for the developers to begin with with those operating systems.

The desktop version I really want to look forward to after they add coin control and option to add public on-chain notes to the release version 0.38.0.

Unstoppable in my opinion, a multi-coin wallet is pretty good for me to use. Bitcoin's address is not only one type, but they have several types of formats such as BIP 84 recommended by them, Legacy (BIP 44), Taproot (BIP 86) and Segwit (BIP 49).
If they add a lightning network, it will be even better because it can be an option for users who want more efficient and cheaper transactions even though the use of lightning networks is not much familiar to some users.

I didn't hear any news about that, so I wouldn't wait on that release.
Closest open source alternative is Stack wallet for desktop, but it's still in beta and users can experience some bugs.
There is also coin control in Stack, but I think they support different coins, Stack is more oriented towards privacy coins.

I've also opened the issue list to see if there are any of the hundreds of issues regarding the desktop version. If they provide a desktop version, we would definitely welcome it.

There is also coin control in Stack, but I think they support different coins, Stack is more oriented towards privacy coins.

Some of the features on Stack wallet, I found an explanation regarding privacy that all the cryptocurrencies they support are enabled by default[1]. Although I have never tried Stack wallet as an open source wallet, I think it will be a good wallet.

Same here and apart from the technical features upgrade, the best thing i like about this wallet is the interface of the unstoppable wallet.
I am using it in the night mode, and it looks awesome

I think if you are using an Unstoppable wallet on your mobile, there is no sense to use it on the desktop too. Although you can login your wallet on multiple devices, but it is better to limit yourself with one device only so that the chances of being hacked or compromised is to a minimum extend. I would not be willing to try a desktop version of this wallet even when they release a more stable version of it.

I think if you are using an Unstoppable wallet on your mobile, there is no sense to use it on the desktop too.

A cold wallet with offline signing would be a good use.

You shouldn't use the same wallet on multiple devices. Create a new wallet depending on the purpose, instead of keeping all your eggs in one mobile wallet.

If a desktop version becomes available, my usage may change. So don't say it's useless because everyone chooses a wallet differently

Each device is not one wallet. Mobile devices and computer or laptop devices are different wallets. If you use one wallet for several devices, for me that is not the right action to maintain security. Meanwhile, wallet security is my top priority and there is no negotiation.

Blockstream telling me all is fine.
Yet the wallet shows non - in fact all the time „synchronizing“ ist at 0%.
Any ideas and tipps?

If you used the correct address, all you an do it wait for it to synchronize. There are different settings though (Settings > Blockchain Settings > Bitcoin): API is fast, Privacy is slow.

There are some issues with Tor ddos attacks these days, so you can check if Tor settings in your Unstoppable wallet is enabled or disabled.
This could be one of the issues why your wallet is not syncing, but on my side everything worked fine last time I checked.
Note that you can always import seed words from Unstoppable to any other wallet with BIP39 support.
