While browsing, I thought! Why not check what is the best gambling quote? To my surprise, there was one out of many shown by Google and instantly that quote made me relate to Bitcointalk, the gambling board. Instantly I realized we need a thread wherein we all can post gambling quotes that make a difference and share positivity.

I know many would not agree with it. But, as a gambler, we are adamant about what we do and we know our efforts will someday give us huge profits. I hope every one of us makes something huge. Here is my quote for today!

After watching so many good quotes on this thread I am now going to post the top 3 quotes here. I do not think there is any reason for me to post a quote by me as you gems of this thread have done an absolutely awesome job. I have gone through all the replies and here are the three favorites of mine for this week.

This is my contribution to this thread there are actually lots of good ones but this one is personal and still trying to apply to my gambling session.

This is just having a good time and not taking it too seriously. It should just be a form of entertainment and not earn from it. I believe some people treat it that way, and I think this is a great positive quote to remind us that it's for entertainment and to have fun and enjoy, not a way to get rich quickly.

in fact gambling is just a little extravagant game of risking money and luck. and luck won't keep coming, but there will be bad days when it does. and in another sense, gambling will never always win and will always lose. so don't expect to always win at gambling and don't be disappointed if you lose.

Quotes are good to keep you going but since we are going through different circumstances, its application would be different to some. Also, no matter how many quotes a player has, if he won't foolow into those statements, nothing will really happen. Most of the gambling quotes are accepting the bitter outcome of playing which is something a player cannot really do since everyone has the urge to win. In such instances addiction and negative playing behavior arise. Perhaps the quote "Only gamble an amount you can afford losing" wherein there's really no amount to many of us, which could be accepted easily if you lose. Not some but for most gamblers on which we do really end up on having this scenario where everyone is really chasing up some losses and this is why its really hard to leave the table

This positive quote reminds me of a situation witnessing local lottery games sometime last week, where the winner was making his acceptance speech, he said and I quote, I have not won anything before and everything I ever hard, I worked hard for it.
This quote goes along with the quote above that money won is sweeter than money earned, but then how long can we depend on luck to give us a desired constant result, I guess your answer is the same as mine.  We have to learn how to manage risk by limiting our level of positivity and dependence on continuous luck, which is not provable for long-term sake, it is good to be positive and lucky but not forget the technicality involved in winning a game from a casino.

I recognize that quote from the movie Dodgeball. A real classic full of great quotes, including this one at the end when Peter made a pretty crazy bet. If you haven’t seen this movie,  it’s a must. Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller are great. As mentioned, it also has a nice gambling twist at the end which produced the quote mentioned above. Worth watching for sure.

I had to follow the thread and also do my own Google search and I still wonder why I didn't see anyone in the first page mentions quiting despite been on the first page when searching for gambling quotes?
