It's annoying how hard these are to get a hold of. Anyone able to help? I believe the going rate is a few 10s of cents or whatever. I may be wrong? Either way I dont have the few days or so it takes via the faucets.
I know I'm part of the problem by offering to pay for some but yeah just wondering if someone had any lying around. Re: payment probably eth?

I understand why you want to pay for something that's literally given for free, you wanted to get your hands on this testnet ETH ASAP so you can go on and get crazy on Göerli network doing whatever it is that devs do.
While waiting for any seller, you could just try and gather whatever you can from some faucets, here's one (you can claim upto a max of 1.5 GöETH):
