I would be more than happy to just see my local grocery supermarket accept crypto for a start instead of dreaming about some big name accepting crypto.

While it is a wet dream of many bitcoin users to see big e-commerce giants to start taking bitcoin, I am still waiting on that.

Ar present I can buy giftcards from bitrefill and pay for buying stuff with that but I would go with a more streamlined approach. Let's remain more  "down to earth walking on our feet" than go long shot on pipe dreams.

Every day many firms accept bitcoin. I think we should also talk about the little vendors too that accept bitcoin as a means of payment for services why I say so because these vendors do business on daily basis so therefore mostly very hour, they do transact which is also very important in the blockchain but these big firms do only carry out transaction mostly once and that as well but let is give cognizance to the little pretty traders who on their own decided to accept bitcoi as a means of payment, they on their own in their own little way contribute to the adoption which we have longed for  and this is very important because they are at the grassroot  so therefore it would be nice that such takes place In the more global adoption and acceptance process.

I will also love to see Bitcoin accepted in my locality Shopping centers like shop rite etc. It will go a long way for bitcoinner like me.

Tesla was ones accepting Bitcoin as means of payment at some point before it was later cancelled by Elon Musk in early May 2021 which no reason to why it was stopped was announced maybe it was because of price fluctuation, later in July He also made announcement of a plan to start accepting BTC again which has not yet been implemented.

None knows the answer to this question but from what we have seen in the past most of the famous companies should pass a few steps to accept bitcoin and even if they do that there will be elements agist then because of making this decision. For example, Regarding Tesla, stopped accepting bitcoin for some unexpecting reasons and they maybe start accepting bitcoin once again however even if they do that they will once again face with questions like why even they stopped accepting it before and why they start it once again.

Probably it's not going to be a major company, but minor ones ran by car dealers who resell used, second hand cars in different countries and regions. Since it's a tough business full of competition among each other, these professional sellers have to be creative and offer their customers different payment options. The more the better, and that is where bitcoin comes in handy. During a negotiation, bitcoin might be the decisive factor!

Tesla had plans of accepting BTC and DOGE as payment, but later it was revealed to be just a speculative declaration for manipulative purposes.

All the above-mentioned companies are all above the reach of an average jack to afford their products, and a better adoption should come from rentals seller and groceries store that truly have a direct impact and connection on daily payments e.g being able to pay bills and buying a cup of ice cream around the streets.

This is more of an adoption because if we depend on big companies like tesla and the rest, it will only limit bitcoin adoption within the rich and the average person will be left with no choice but to own Bitcoin only for holding and as an asset but will not be able to pay for good and service using Bitcoin as an alternative.

The whale will have more Bitcoin in their possession and they can easily manipulate the price.

People here often say that, but would you actually make regular Bitcoin payments for everyday grocery shopping? That only makes sense when you get your primary earnings in bitcoin, but that's only the case for very few people even within the bitcoin space itself. No one is really going to buy BTC for fiat just to spend it in store.

And since we have quite a few crypto-powered payment cards available, does it really matter if a grocery store accepts bitcoin (and immediately exchanges it to fiat), if you can pay directly from your bitcoin balance with such card anyway? I'm guessing the difference is it requires 3rd party and KYC.

Most app wallets set the fee to be accepted in the next 10 minutes this will be harmful for the user, if the network is overloaded some fees can be from 10 to 15 USD.

And if you setup manually that fee to be the minimum it will take some hours for the transaction to be accepted.

I really like bitcoin but most user don't know how it works and also they don't care they want to buy groceries and stuff instantly, and that will be a problem for small business or small transactions to be accepted faster.

Well, you can actually buy a lambo with your Bitcoin.

Tesla also once accepted Bitcoin, but then Elon was made to believe that Bitcoin is causing much harm to the environment, so he decided to stop it. I'm not sure if it's truly the environment he was concerned of. Perhaps it was simply because such impression is against the way Tesla cars are marketed--as environment-friendly.

I don't know which brand will be accepting Bitcoin next, but I don't care much. It's probably good enough for me that remittances of overseas workers are now safe from predators like Western Union and others, or that small retail stores are accepting Bitcoin payments, or that people are saving in a currency that is not fast devalued by the people we're supposed to trust.

Yes rather than big dream that not comes true for now, I prefer the small things to happen first including local groceries and some food trucks accepting crypto.

anyway we already make a huge progress from crypto in some country it become legal tender, in the other already accept crypto as an asset or commodity.

A lot of people want those big brands to accept bitcoin as their payment method, as it's a huge adaptation of bitcoin that leads to its price getting higher, though as a normal citizen, I still don't benefit from it as I can't afford those big companies like tesla or pagani. It would be preferable if the stores in the area accepted bitcoin, but if the big companies and famous brands accept bitcoin, the small stores will follow as it is some sort of advertisement that the others want to follow as well.

It's good to see these companies accepting bitcoin but the main concern is the adoption rate will rise when there is global surge in demand and acceptance.The Supercars already have customers who pay them huge and they take it as a option to add it one more payment option like btc for them and make more profits while holding the coins.You see big companies accepting it but how many actual users are paying through it if you care to look for it? How many tesla were bought with bitcoin when they accepted it? So the main benefits would be small stores acceptance but small things also counts.

I do not like to predict and do not expect the next big company to accept Bitcoin or not, it is still good news, but I want more than that. What I hope and wish is that countries will soon accept bitcoin because once the government legalizes and accepts it, businesses will automatically accept bitcoin. It would be nice to see supermarkets and convenience stores accepting bitcoin rather than big companies because supermarket purchases happen more often for me.

If you look into the past you could see that not many brands manage to introduce bitcoin successfully. If you want to receive and store bitcoins safely then you need a lot of special knowledge that is not usually there. Because of this bitcoin is somewhat pricey for a big company like Tesla, etc..
There was for example wikipedia and many other big brands that introduced bitcoin with a lot of media attention. In the end it was removed again, since it was not used enough to pay for the trouble that it caused.

It has to be lambo and these guys should have already tapped into the crypto market way back because lambos are a big thing in the crypto world. But looking at the most sought after cars in places like Dubai it has to be either a lambo or Gwagon... Maybe ROLLS ROYCE but car rentals can benefit greatly for our crypto millionaires.

I hope that the next thing accepts bitcoin in this generation is that all the malls in every country will accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment, just like in department stores, grocery stores, or supermarkets so that everyone around the world will become aware. in bitcoin technology.

If you are only referring to car brands, it's hard to tell which one will be next. If it's about companies in general, it's even harder to follow and check because it can be a local brand which may not make the international news.
It's great when big brands start accepting Bitcoin because it boosts its publicity and reputation. However, I'm more with a couple of others in the thread who are more excited about local companies selling everyday stuff accepting Bitcoin than big brands of expensive things like cars. In my country, a popular pharmacy chain has recently announced accepting Bitcoin payments, for example. Unfortunately, it's only via a Binance account, but it's still a step forward.

There's always a daily increase in adoption rate on bitcoin but we seems to only get familiar with the common organizations that we are used to, there are many other reputed companies and industries as well adopting bitcoin and we were not informed due to their own pedigree of standards with social media influencers, we cannot know or have the exact particular of numbers for those currently adopting as in case of Tesla that once accepted but later made a cancellation for the bitcoin adoption, still yet alot of these reputable companies were into adoption as times go.

I will like to see more countries legalizing Bitcoin because that will seriously help in level of adoption especially even this big companies we are talking about to starting accepting Bitcoin. Many big companies may wish to accept Bitcoin but it may due to many countries that have not legalize it. So as for me i always want to see Bitcoin legalize in many more countries and that will make both big companies and small stores to be accepting bitcoin and that will make those who want to spend their Bitcoin spend it easily.
