4th word released is "monkey".

Note that this is a 12 word seed phrase plus a passphrase. It's not entirely clear if the passphrase is going to be released as well, or what format it will take. It might be a word from the BIP39 word list as well to add additional difficulty, as then you have 13 possible words for a 12 word phrase.

Still, there is no point even trying until at least 8 words have been released, and even then it will be incredibly difficult, especially if there is no more clarity on what the passphrase is.

I think if someone can crack a seed they can go for other better options instead of 4m sats. Well good idea and good luck

Thanks, add at OP.

Possible this is 5th word: https://mempool.space/tx/daede293f822e07621af54be1e51875ab35b10ef771b7d6c55048b086569950a

HodlHodl's word is "present" - https://twitter.com/hodlhodl/status/1618685319083339778
Bitcoin Reserve's word is "argue" - https://twitter.com/BTCReserveHQ/status/1619016315632758785
Blockstream's word is "elder" - https://twitter.com/Blockstream/status/1618642848857063424

So that's 8 words so far. This would now be in the realms of being brute forcible if it weren't for the passphrase. Given that we still have no idea what the passphrase is (is it another BIP39 word?), then we probably need at least one more word released before someone is able to crack it.

Can anyone solve this riddle? Apparently the answer is a word from the BIP39 word list.

To those of you seeking the #huntingsats treasure, we shall reveal the one word. It is a powerful tool, made of magic like us sardines. Its only weakness is what our home is made of, and why it's such a beautiful place.
Good luck on your journey to the mountain of sats. 💰

Edit: Too late, someone has cracked it and swept the address.

Apparently the solution to that tweet was "ring". So with that and the other clues, there were two entirely unknown words, and one word which had three possibilities for it. That gives 2048*2048*3 = 12,582,912 possibilities, which is very easily brute forcible, except that we didn't know the order of the words, or which of the 13 words was the passphrase word.

I was working on the assumption that the words were going to be in the order of these two tweets:

https://nitter.nl/wasabiwallet/status/1617522201485545476

I'll wait to find out. Can't be bothered spinning up btcrecover again just to check. Tongue

sardines synonym is hide closest word is hidden.
Weakness is home is made of = "light".
I am not an expert its just a guess  Grin

wonderfull, that 12,582,912 possibilities is seem hard to me think to how the cracker did it. with this result we must be careful to store the seed safely and not fenceless to anyone.
