Bitcoin limitation (self challenge)

I live in an island where I'm surrounded by waters, because of the distance of the island from the upland which is the capital of my state where the government officials base has affected developments from coming into the island where I stay. It is as if the people in the island have no government to bring good developments,  their is no constant electricity,  no road and bridges.

I know about bitcoin since 2021, but my major challenge of learning bitcoin all this while is because of no electricity.  Sometimes in a week the electricity company distribute electric power once or twice in a week doesn't last up to an hour.
Last year I tried my best to save some money so I can buy generator that can give me electricity to learn bitcoin well  and to start up the little I can invest in bitcoin.

This is not a limitation of Bitcoin but rather your current situation. You shouldn’t push yourself to learn Bitcoin if you are on the secluded area away from the internet. Investing Bitcoin is not a must if your current situation is not suitable for it. What’s your main goal on studying Bitcoin? To become developer or investors? Because you can buy and hold Bitcoin by just traveling on your capital to buy and store it in your wallet to hold. It doesn’t need to be check most of the time if your main goal is just to invest.

Now that you have gotten your self a generator which can get you a stable power supply, another challenge here will be petroleum since it took you some years to gather up funds to buy the generator how do you intend to buy petroleum on a daily basis.

If I was to be on you shoe I could have chosen a solar inverter rather than that generator, it will cost you a kind of more than that of the generator but after the installation you won't have to worry about Petroleum again, and since it's just for the purpose of  Bitcoin learning and investment, you won't need much power so it will serve you more...

You should also be aware that Bitcoin investment won't give you instant profit, Incase you have fast ROI in mind.

My advice Learn you strategy well before you start your investment so that you don't get disappointed at any point.

I didn't push my self because their were obstacle that were in the corners storing me. But right now I know nothing is stopping me, and I'll definitely achieve it.

My home town where I live. Solar is much expensive.  But I can be able to afford petrol atleast 3 hours daily.

Perhaps when you have electricity download a bunch of information about bitcoin to your laptop computer.  Or order some hard copy books.  

There are inexpensive solar charges if you only have to charge a laptop.  Or make sure that your laptop is charged fully when power is on?

I believe you have done pretty well considering you have been able to solve the major problem of your Bitcoin cream which is power by getting that Generator and I believe access to the internet is not an option. That said, understanding the market is a big deal so it is equally important as some have mentioned to get materials that will teach you about Bitcoin and the market sentiment.

maybe instead of running it to power all devices, appliances and luxuries, you can economise its utility to spread out the utility length beyond 3 hours

also even with your high load appliances only getting 3 hours of electric. that 3 hours is more then enough to charge a cell phone to last for days thus if re-fuelling each day, i see no problem

if you plan and economise what you wish to power. then you can maximise the utility beyond 3 hours to also power some of your heavier load appliances

This is probably far from ideal, but you can already generate a Bitcoin wallet without electricity, however you probably need a way of verifying it or when you do have electricity you can download a wallet, verify it, and then create a seed. Get the addresses, write them down physically, and verify they're correct. Then you can provide that address to anyone whenever you want to receive Bitcoin, completely offline. Not ideal, I know. For learning Bitcoin, you could try, and get some books first of all. Understand the fundamentals, and proceed with the above method of receiving funds. Sending funds would be more difficult, and would require internet access.

Honestly I dont understand your situation completely, since you seem to be able to chat in the forum. If you are able to do this, then you can read about bitcoin. If the internet connection or the power is only temporarily I would advise you to buy books about bitcoin or download/print stuff.

Those are specifically for beginners and can be a good option in any case.
If you have the money, buy a hardware wallet. If you dont have it, store coins on paper wallets and for daily payment use a mobile wallet on your phone.

That is very confined condition but I believe what the other guys said about your availability over internet seems bit odd. I do not want to overthink your situation but there are definitely ways out for the same. If electricity grid has reached your area then it is well developed location. If it is really concerning then you can just move to the next location where electricity is far more consistent. For example, area with industrial zone where most probably electricity should be up and running all the time.

If you can access internet, then you are not limited to use bitcoin at all!!

He can use his mobile phone or tablet to store ebooks about Bitcoin, I think during his uptime hours he will be able to charge his devices and browse important Bitcoin-related pdf's and save it to his mobile device. He can also buy power banks to lengthen the uptime of his devices.  With enough power banks he can make his mobile phone or tablet up 24/7 regardless of heavy usage.

Anything that's capable of running a computer for a decent amount of time is going to cost in excess of £1000. I know there's a lot of Chinese brands which have dived into the portable power storage solutions. However, can't really comment on their reliability or their safety. However, this seems a rather extreme measure just for Bitcoin. If it has a use for additional things other than Bitcoin, sure why not. Otherwise, operating offline seems to be the most cost effective solution to me, at least if you're only needing to receive, and not send often.

The cost of installing solar power supply is expensive and intensity of sunlight in the OP's location is also an important factor to consider. But the advantage of using solar cannot be compared with generators. I am considering the environmental impact of running a generator. Generators produces one of the most poisonous gases that is colourless and odourless but kills without warning.My people have become sick and some have lost thier lives because of generators in my location

You can learn about Bitcoin by many resources on the Internet (websites, forums, Github, Youtube channels) or paper books or e-books. Fortunately with paper books or e-books, you can learn about Bitcoin everywhere.

The eagerness to learn about bitcoin is really great. Very few strive to learn more and more. Op seems to be one such kind and he had reached a level with which he is able to meet his power needs. As most users mentioned he should've gone for solar power electricity generation. If it is solar powered he doesn't need to have any other expenses. With the one he had bought he needs to spend regularly for fuel which might eat his earnings.
