Many of us has faced the similar situation where we came across Bitcoin few years back and prices were also low at that time but somehow didn't pay attention to it and years later on when we realised what we have missed the regret and guilt factor is always there.But even if you know about it's potential and didn't invest in it then you are making a big mistake but I am happy that have invested small amounts in it for long term that will give me returns in the future.

I believe that even if you go back to the past and you forget everything that is happening in the present, meaning that you do not know about the future, you will not choose to invest in bitcoin at that time. Simply put, people feel nostalgia for the past when they see the present, if bitcoin crashes, they will say they were right not to invest bitcoin at that time. People tend to be reluctant to accept the new, but will regret seeing it succeed in the present. That is human greed.

People will regret it if they see what really happened, so people now who see how bitcoin can grow and attract the attention of many people to join immediately. And now that bitcoin has given its last ATH, many people are starting to invest, but unfortunately, they are investing when bitcoin is at a high price and are not ready to see a downturn occur. And when the price goes down, they even say that bitcoin is a scam and immediately sell it and never think to invest in it. If so, it is their own fault.

I also don't want to have regrets in this case, namely bitcoin investment. so I started accumulating since I first got to know Bitcoin. We don't know that it was an opportunity because if we only know then we will grab it immediately. Many of us who are old timers are lucky because we experienced a second chance and embrace bitcoin before it first booms on the year 2017. Although we already saw that BTC can pump, we can't help but still be surprised of what it had showed on the 2017 bull run.

For those who came recently in the scene, it is not too late yet for them as there are more expected pumps which can be bigger than on what we experienced last time. Investing earlier doesn't mean that you will not regret it anymore. Of course you still can if you lose your investment. This is why continuous learning is also important and not just the timing.

I have seen some members of the forum regret not having bought before, but that is like nothing, many regrets can be avoided and that can be right now, let's just do the math, if we buy 1 bitcoin now, the bitcoin ath was close to 70 thousand dollars, and it will most likely rise to that price level and it may go up more because the bitcoin rises are very high, it is possible, but if it rises to a level of 300 thousand dollars and it was bought for less than 25 thousand dollars, that is the best investment of life, there is no need to regret, you just have to act and that's it.

You can't convince all newbie of this possibility, but I know those with experience will do it for the long term.

Many new investors come to invest in crypto, especially in bitcoin. They seem inexperienced and just buy without knowing what the risks are. Even they don't know much about how to store their bitcoin safely so centralized exchange becomes their repository. The FTX case should teach them an important lesson about what's the point of having custody of their bitcoin, so it's not just about the money and possible profit, but also about how one can keep them safe.

You should not regret what has happened, even though you haven't bought bitcoin before, it doesn't mean it's too late now. because today the price of bitcoin even though there has been an increase but not too high so there are still good opportunities to invest in bitcoin.

That is true and while now Bitcoin is experiencing another correction. Then the opportunity to buy it now is the right thing to do. No matter what the price is you can still buy bitcoin as long as money to purchase it. The more the best as you can gain more profit but always think of the risk also meaning are you okay lossing your money if something happen because we are always thinking about the profit and not the risk which make us blind and want to go all in but if something happen or the price drops a lot of them will be ranting and some will sell off it as they are scared. Well yeah we all wish we had bought bitcoin sooner, and more of it etc etc.  I found bitcoin when it was at like $200 a coin, and I sure as shit wish I had bought a bunch more too, never sold any etc.  I agree with you, to buy some now so that you don't regret it down the road, but make sure that you have enough money to put at risk. Make sure you're on track for retirement and that you understand how volatile bitcoin is and can be.

I worked a second job to be able to buy bitcoins back in the day, when the Bitcoin price was about $400 per coin, so my rewards from the future profits was earned with sweat and tears. 

Also, Bitcoin should not be seen as an investment... things can turn bad very quickly.. and then people can be stuck with coins that are valued at $10. I invested in the "freedom" that Bitcoin offered me.... 24 hour access to my own wealth... and nobody that restrict the things that I can do with it. (If I wanted to donate to WikiLeaks... then I could do it)

Most of us have similar stories as the OP's, well, let me not try to generalize anything, i personally have a similar story, most especially the being so poor, to the extent of not having extra money to gamble on something I am not so sure of part.
In my case though, I never doubted Bitcoin when I discovered it in late 2015, I've been victims to lots of Ponzi scheme scams before then, but when i discovered bitcoin and followed it for sometime, i was so eager to invest in it but the problem was that, there was no money, then, the price of bitcoin was a little above $100 I think, i was working a 6 to 7 job in a factory back then, but i could barely live on what I earn as salary, talk more of having saving or extra money to buy bitcoin as I desired, I resorted to earning bitcoin for free through faucets, it didn't take long before faucets became obsolete as the price of bitcoin began to soar..

Long story short is that, I regret not having the financial ability to invest in  bitcoin when the prices was really cheaper, but one thing i am thankful for today is that I am here today, and from the little money I've made, never will such an opportunity as this pass me by again, except I did not see it on time.

Yes, I quite agree with what you said. if we buy for the long term then today's price is not quite expensive or can be said to be quite cheap. because it is still far from ATH. and I think it's lucky enough for us to enter at this time and I'm lucky enough to have accumulated when bitcoin was under $20k USD. because in the next year I'm pretty sure we're all going to feel miss to see the prices now. because it is possible that in the coming years the current price will be quite difficult for us to meet again.

Yes, well said. bitcoin should be associated with freedom, not with debts that need to be repaid, especially if after you buy bitcoin the price goes down. I don't know how the price of bitcoin may rise in the future, but I like to regard bitcoin as a good investment, perhaps primarily as an investment in my freedom. A bull market should start relatively soon, which is always a lot of positive emotions. )
