Anyway, registered on the final. Lets have a fun game this weekend. So the prizepool ended up being 550 euro instead of $500 so thats around $550 which is abit more and its great with 3 places paid. Alright its time to win another one here so its going to be 3 win consecutively for me if I ended up winning this one as well !

Well, I knew it will be hard for me to play... 7 PM is a tricky time for me. I have missed some parts in all games, a lot of wrong calls, and newbie mistakes. I hope I will have more luck and brains next time. Good luck Famosos!

Hopefully the next series won't take so long, it doesn't matter if it's Omaha POK, NLH, since we lose our rhythm and enthusiasm, because if there's one thing about poker, it doesn't matter how you do today, there's always a tournament tomorrow to vindicate himself, but that these forum tournaments sometimes take a long time.

The final table is not easy, as each one of them has always been, the ones that I have been able to play and the ones that I have followed based on the existing data.

There is money involved and that alone makes the issue complicated. It's not in the rules that there cannot be a sub and this is an issue we have never faced in the series that have ran til now, but no other poker tourney allows a sub to my knowledge.

I'm fine with whatever, but I can see famosos side on this argument. I actually agree with him, but I'm going to play regardless.

I don't think it necessarily is an issue to add a new player if someone says, in good time, they won't be able to make it. However it might be more fair if the next user on the leaderboard who just missed out would get the spot rather than someone handpicked by the user unable to join. Either way, this is supposed to be a friendly low stakes series so it doesn't have to be that serious..

Edit; Just checked the spreadsheet after making the above post too, and it seems bullrun202bro was next in line so it definitely shouldn't be an issue. Perhaps if bullrun202bro would play for himself rather than for CoinEraser that'd make more sense?

However, I just unregistered from the tournament. For me, it hasn't been about the price money, tbh. This whole series has been more of a fun community thing.  

And I wanted to do @CoinEraser a favor, because it looks like he's having a hard time right now. Community spirit, you know. He's always been a kind guy and I wanted to support him.

But if some people here feel robbed of their price money, that's fine. I'll take a step back and I won't play. Says a lot about the ppl crying, but I guess it's always like this if there is money involved.

Well... precisely this are quotes (your commentaries) that shows why we are in this situation. In fact, I could have come off saying something like what you mention, but it's a poor argument, wow it is.

Money! I say it properly is not the main issue, and this post is not an answer to your "concern", it is reflected in my post history, with examples by the way very recently.

Fortunately, the prize of this FT is a GTD, like so many others, but playing the final table of this series and any other is special, the prize is the least of it, and that in essence is my argument.

Then, I would not advise anyone that if they need money they want to get it by playing poker.

Come on! it doesn't even have to do with nicks/users, I've been here for a few poker series, not all of them, but my point of view would be the same with any user, the forum above all is discussion, it's what gives it life to the healthy discussion that is based on the argument, I have it and that argument is not based on you or money.

The FT of any series in BTT is reached by playing poker.

Well we had some issue before the FT but this is a great series and I had some fun with you guys alot, hoping to play with any of you in the future again  

Congrats on the win, when I got knocked out icopress was dominating.

Going back up to the issue that was mentioned, I must've missed somewhere that CoinEraser was having a rough time healthwise. Sorry to hear that. I wish you had joined and sat out or something and we avoid the earlier issue.

Wasn't a money issue for me FYI. I don't think it was ever about the money when it was mentioned.

I was in a monthly tourney where 10 players played a live tourney each month with a 240$ buyin each month. We had a small monthly prize but most of the money went into a pool. The person who earned the most points over 10 tourneys got a $10k buyin to the WSOP main event and $2000 cash for expenses. All participants got a share of the prize money if the person who won, made the money as well.

I ended up losing by 1 point to a substitute player. Rubbed me the wrong way and it's the only tourney I've ever been in where subs were allowed. So for me, I would rather be playing against the person who earned the seat vs having to adjust to someone elses play style and possibly luck. IDK just my opinion. No need for the low blows to people because opinions differ on a subject. Heck we all disagree on 1 thing or another at some point.

Most details are found in the title and 1st couple of posts. The series is over now but was hosted on Betnomi.com and anyone could join. All registration happened on betnomi as well. We did not have a cap, the more who joined the merrier.

During this series, I amazed on how mr.allin was playing. He, arall, yahoo and TyKiwanuka (not sure if he is still playing poker somewhere else) are my favorite poker players in this forum now.
