General Alpen Coin question: Why is the serial number of the coin in the picture (A373) way higher than the official mintage of 240 pieces?

This happens to be for several other Alpen Coins as well (2020 series, Vreneli series) and I'm just curious what happened here:

if not mistaken - the gloss one had 300 coins - and the matte ones 240 - so the matte ones would have started with number A301 and went up to 540

in other words, he did not start back at zero for the matte ones - just picked up where he left off with the gloss ones.
