Since the OP just learned forex, why can't he just try it as well right? Because even though they have the same rules, their market is still different from each other. what I know is that stocks and forex market are more stable but crypto market is highly volatile. It's much riskier in short so it would be better to diversify to cut the risk.

There is no need to rush in trading to avoid mistakes. If op is cool with trading only stock that is fine if he is making profit from it because profit is what matters and not to go in for a trade that you are not certain for your profit. So he need to take his time a little more and master his profit techniques with stock trading before looking at another commodity to trade. Taking your time to master a particular kind of trade gives you an edge.

So what your decision sharing your experienced about first profit above $2,000 trough stock marketing here? some people here discussing about Bitcoin and altcoin trading and less of them sharing from other trading kinds could be from stock marketing or try with forex. Actually I understand well with stock marketing and forex trading are both ways is not recommended.

Forex trading more risk than future trading because all your assets loss when wrong predicting, but for stock marketing seems difficult can reach higher price more than 30% and I have experienced with several stock marketing have been drop drastically.

Hmm, interesting story but not that much detailed one. You might have had some nice moves in that particular stock / trading but it wont happen all the time. Be grateful you learnt the power of stock market and how it make you good amount of money. However, on the other hand you should know that it can also take more than enough from your pockets to break you down.

There had been cases where people had wrong judgment of their trades and they lost a lot of money that they would earn in next decade or so. Trading should be taken damn seriously.

Must do things:
1) Gain expertise on stock and money market.
2) Learn basics of trading. From A to Z pattern
3) Go for Technical analysis and Factual Analysis all the time.
4) Join multiple analysis groups, be active and ask questions.
5) Do not dare to trade, but trade to learn.

Hope these tips will help you in the long journey of your trading.

Do not under estimate these, they come from the experience. From the failed trades and after analysis of why those trade failed. :}

If you are making that money then be grateful because its not something that someone could easily deal off with.Buying low and Selling high might really be that a basic thing but its not something that all people would

be able to pull and become that profitable.Im aware with stocks/forex trading which there are already some brokers who do really include Bitcoin into their trading pairs which it isnt really that bad.
But it would be better if you do stick on trading up on crypto platforms rather than those highly regulated brokers out there.

If it is a $2000 or smaller initial capital, it is a big win even just by luck. If the initial capital is like $100,000 it is not a big win, just 2% from initial capital.

The more importance is did your friend succeed to protect his initial capital and that won part ($2,000) after all?

I think how much initial capital doesn't matter, what matters is how much you earn, and 2k$ is a huge amount, it's a big win. What would you do to make $2k a night even if you have $100k on hand?

I admit you are completely right about that, trading Forex or stocks is fully regulated by local authorities so there is very little fraud.
Trading with a trusted and recommended broker will be very good to do. Your 5 years of experience in forex trading certainly cannot be doubted.

But have you never traded in crypto, with the high volatility of course and quite risky? Forex trading may be safer without high volatility, every Saturday and Sunday trading is closed. But crypto never closes and continues to operate 24 hours.

Just need to choose which trade is good and can be profitable. Forex or crypto both have advantages and disadvantages.
But if you want to be free from the supervision of legal authorities, then crypto trading will be highly recommended because it is also decentralized.


About the OP's statement that he made a profit of $2000 overnight, of course, it is an extraordinary achievement.
But will it be able to last? Of course it won't last forever, OP just hasn't mentioned how much he lost during trading.
Trading looks simple, buying cheap and selling at high prices. But on the market, it will not be that easy.

If you think you're satisfied with the results of your stock trading, then continue and don't stop with your busy life since 1 year ago. It doesn't matter, after all bitcoin has come to a point of glory much higher than it was 12 years ago. $1k may not be a significant increase in market cap even if you enter.

Whichever trading whether forex trading or stock marketing that enable you to earn $1000 profit just stick to it, I am sure you have a strategy that you followed which can guarantee you consistent profit making which was what you had learnt and for earning such a huge a huge profit you might have use high leverage or future trading if it's cryptocurrencies trading, I wouldn't advice you to divert or diversify to other trading option which I think might be too risky, just continue to follow the steps that made up to earn profit, however trading is very risky please be well guided in your money management.

It's not about the profit you got from trading to indicate something a scam, there are so many people that intended to find scam-looks project and enter it first then escape later with profits.
But still, There is no foolproof way to determine whether a cryptocurrency project or coin is a scam or not but we have to know it is important to conduct your due diligence and carefully evaluate any cryptocurrency project or coin before investing. Don't rush into investments, and seek out reputable sources of information and guidance.

Buy low sell high is the main principle of trading. You can use your intelligence to make profit in any market, so if you don't have any knowledge about trading then you can't make profit in any market. Thinking yourself an expert and lucky just because you've made a profit one day is risky, because any strategy doesn't always work.

You can also make more profit from crypto trading if you can trade with an effective strategy, because the crypto market is open 24/7 for trading. If you can't do well in any market it is not correct to call it a scam, so just because you didn't get good results from the crypto market, Bitcoin won't become a scam for everyone.

Your friend must be a good trader who has its own strategy to make such profit,you also learnt forex trading from him and you did made half of what he got. Kuddos to him but you should know that, your strategy is working for you doesn't mean you should get carried away and involved all your funds into it,because the market can turn around and not be in your favour.

Honestly, I rarely trade crypto, as it is volatile and still a manipulated market it becomes a lot more difficult to analyze cryptocurrencies than forex. I trade daily with forex and invest long term with crypto, doing so I feel better with everything, crypto is too volatile in a short time, so I limit trading with them. And I don't think crypto trading will escape regulatory scrutiny because if you want to trade, you have to do it on centralized exchanges.

I still believe OP can make that profit overnight, but you are right, no one can maintain winning forever, trading will have win days and lose days. He didn't mention the days he lost.

From what you have said it sounds like you have a friend who has good knowledge of trading and I think he is a good trader who definitely has a strategy. I just want to say, don't let this opportunity pass you by because now it's very rare for people who can teach us directly about trading, moreover it's your friend who I think when learning the atmosphere will be more relaxed because they are used to communicating.

It becomes your personal decision whether you want to trade in crypto or not. But it's a good decision if you know the real risks of crypto by choosing crypto only for long-term investment and still trading actively on Forex.

Crypto fluctuations and some of the manipulations that are carried out are indeed very risky, because it is difficult to make predictions, and the market is not easy to predict. But those fluctuations will also provide faster returns. If you want to be safer try spot trading, it will be better for beginners than two-way trading or Futures.

and as for centralized exchanges, currently, Binance is a popular centralized exchange and has to comply with government regulations and so on.
Right now it's hard to get away from government law, but at least crypto can be an optional choice for privacy issues, because it can be transferred to a private wallet with its own key.

Last night's gain was only a causal spice so it will feel good. When it ends there will be bankruptcy terms overnight.
Being able to maintain wins will be very good, but if you are consistent in minimizing losses, that's even better.
Victory is certain and loss is also certain.
